Objective To study the psychological defence (PD) and coping style (CS) of the patients suffering depressive episode (DE).Methods 104 cases of the experimental group and 104 cases of the control group, which were stratified sampled, had been investigated by applying defensive style questionnaire (DSQ),coping style questionnaire(CSQ).Results The total score of the immature PD of the experimental group(5.19±0.73) was significantly higher (t =2.93,P< 0.05) than that of the control group (4.41 ± 0.76).In the immature mechanism, withdrawal, somatization, avoiding, passive aggression were significantly higher, but the complaints and fantasy were significantly lower. The total score of mature PD of the experimental group(4.49±0.61) was significantly lower (t=-6.02,P<0.01) than that of the control group(6.01±0.85).For the mature mechanism, sublimation and humor were lower and the repression was higher. And for the CS,problem solving, consulting and rationalization scores were significantly lower than those of the control group(t=-4.58,P<0.01 ; t=-4.49,P<0.01; t=-4.01,P<0.01).The self-accusation,retreat scores were significantly higher than those of the control group(t=8.21,P<0.01; t=5.31,P<0.01).Conclusion Patients suffering DE are apt to use immature PD and CS.To increase the therapeutic effect, the style of the patients' PD and CS should be highlighted, and it is necessary to take steps to guide the patients to use mature PD and CS.

Objective To investigate the detecting ability of single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) and CT in skull base invasion in nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods Sixty three patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were examined by whole body and skull base SPECT and CT of nasopharynx and skull base before radiotherapy. The results were double blind compared and evaluated. Results The overall positive rates of skull base invasion detected by SPECT and CT were 63.5% and 25.4%. In patients with headache, cranial nerve palsy and both, they were 87.9%,93.3%,92.3% and 42.4%,46.7%,46.2%. In patients with T 1+T 2 and T 3+T 4 lesions, they were 37.5%,90.3% and 0.0%,51.6%. In patients with N 0+N 1 and N 2+N 3 lesions, they were 63.9% ,63.0% and 19.4%,33.3%. The positive rates of SPECT were higher than those of CT (McNemar Test, P

International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health issued by the World Health Organization is the international general theoretical framework for describing and measuring healthy on individual and population level, which the evaluation for cerebral palsy should follow with. This paper discussed the tools of evaluation for cerebral palsy in the view of ICF, especially the 4 dimensions of body function, body structure, activities and participation, and environmental factors.

To analyze the mortality risk of stroke in China by literature search. The mortality rate of stroke (age standardized) in China has declined in recent years. The mortality rate of stroke which increases with age is higher in rural areas than in urban areas, and is higher in men than in women in China. There are obvious regional differences and seasonal differences in the mortality of stroke in China.Different subtypes of stroke have different death characteristics.Low or high temperatures can increase the risk of mortality of stroke. With the change of epidemiological characteristics, the risk factors of mortality of stroke in China are also changing.Through the epidemiological study of stroke death, the mortality risk of stroke can be researched effectively, the epidemiological characteristics of stroke can be mastered, and the direction of prevention and treatment of stroke can be understood.Individualized and multi factor intervention for unhealthy lifestyle, unhealthy behavior and metabolic cardiovascular risk factors can promote the establishment of stroke prevention and control strategy in China.

Objective To explore the expression of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor subunit-1 (NMDAR1) in the ependymal cells of the third ventricle of rat. Methods The immunohistochemistry technique was used. Results (1)NMDAR1-immunoreaction (NMDAR1-IR) was strongly expressed in the ependymal cells of the third ventricle; (2)There was no significant sex difference in morphology and distribution of the NMDAR1-IR ependymal cells between male and female. Conclusion The present investigation provided the morphological evidence supporting that glutamate of CSF might regulate ependymal cells via NMDAR.

Objective To summarize the clinical characteristics , diagnosis and surgical method of intra-ductal papilloma(IP)of breast without nipple discharge .Methods The clinical data of 84 IP patients(130 le-sions)without nipple discharge admitted from Feb .2011 to Oct.2013 were analyzed retrospectively .Results The age of the 84 patients were mainly ranging from 30 to 50 years old.113(86.92%)lesions were≤10 mm in size, 84(64.42%)lesions had a distance≤20 mm to nipple, 57 accompanied by adenosis , 43 accompanied by fibro-cystic adenosis , 48 accompanied by fibroadenoma , 14 with ductal hyperplasia , and 2 with atypical ductal hyper-plasia.After a follow-up of 3 to 36 months, 5 cases had recurrence , including 4 cases of IP and 1 case of ductal carcinoma in situ. Conclusions IP without nipple discharge has no typical clinical symptoms .Ultrasound exam-ination may have positive findings , but not typical .Preoperative diagnosis is difficult and surgical biopsy is rec-ommended.Multiple and atypical ductal hyperplasia has possibility of recurrence , so follow-up is necessary.
8.Effect of SHIP1 on viability and apoptosis of leukemia Jurkat cells by reg-ulating STAT3 signaling pathway
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2018;34(1):87-93
AIM:To investigate the effect of SH2 domain-containing inositol 5-phosphatase 1(SHIP1)on the viability and apoptosis of leukemia cells by regulating signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)signaling pathway.METHODS:Human leukemia Jurkat cells were transfected with null vector and SHIP1 overexpression vector in negative control(NC)group and SHIP1 group, respectively. The cells without treatment served as control group. The transfection efficiency was detected by real-time PCR and Western blot. The changes of the cell activity were measured by MTT assay. The apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry. The protein levels of cleaved caspase-3,STAT3 and p-STAT3 were determined by Western blot. The STAT3 signaling pathway inhibitor AG 490 was applied to the cells in control group and SHIP1 group as control +AG490 group and SHIP1+AG490 group, respectively, and the above indexes were also ana-lyzed.RESULTS:Compared with the control group and NC group ,the mRNA and protein expression levels of SHIP 1 in SHIP1 group were both upregulated ,the cell viability was increased ,the apoptotic rate was decreased ,the protein level of cleaved caspase-3 was upregulated ,and the protein level of p-STAT3 was decreased(P<0.05 ).Compared with control group and control +AG490 group, the cell viability in SHIP1+AG490 group was decreased ,the protein level of cleaved caspase-3 was increased the protein level of p-STAT3 was decreased ,and the apoptotic rate was increased(P<0.05 ). CONCLUSION:SHIP1 inhibits the viability and promotes the apoptosis of human leukemia Jurkat cells by inhibiting the STAT3 signaling pathway.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2012;37(18):2698-2701
Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is the transition state between normal aging and AD. There are better detection and treatment methods to screen a population of patients with MCI. Through intervention, the probability of MCI conversion to AD can be significantly reduced. This paper first introduces the concept of cost-effectiveness analysis, reconsiders the concept of cost for the particularity of MCI, and uses QALY to evaluate the health effects of the quality of life. Then measure the health quality of life of elderly MCI population, and use Markov model to study the cost of intervention with traditional Chinese medicine-effectiveness analysis. Finally, according to the QALY measure and CEA results, we draw the conclusion that it's helpful to get early intervention in MCI.
