Objective To explore the effect of Gongxuening capsule on inflammation,postpartum hemorrhage and the amount of lochia duration of instant placement intrauterine device(IUD)in patients with cesarean section.Methods 210 cases of cesarean section immediately placed IUD patients as the research object,were divided into the observation group and the control group by simple random number table method,control group of 105 patients with cesarean section immediate postplacental IUD, observation group were given Gongxuening gapsule on the basis of the patients in the control group.The inflammatory cytokines(IL-6,IL-8,IL-10,TNF-α)levels,the amount of postpartum hemorrhage,puerperal pathology and duration of lochia related indicators were compared between two groups of patients.Results After treatment,the IL-6,IL-8,IL-10,TNF-αlevels in observation group were significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.05),postpartum hemorrhage 24h were significantly less than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in average body temperature,white blood cell count,neutrophil ratio and puerperal disease rate between observation group and control group.The maternal postpartum <28 days wa 33 cases,which was higher than 26 cases in control were,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in maternal postpartum from 28 d to 42 d,or >42 d between two groups.Conclusion Gongxuening capsule helps reduce postpartum hemorrhage,the degree of inhibition of inflammatory reaction in patients of cesarean section immediately placed IUD.

Objective To investigate the clinical efifcacy of estradiol on perimenopausal syndrome,and evaluate its safety. Methods 64 cases with perimenopausal syndrome collected in our hospital from January 2010 to January 2011 were used as observation group, and treated with Estradiol valerate. Another 64 cases during the same period were used as control group, and treated with conventional therapy. After treatment, the symptom improvement of both groups were evaluated by the scoring criteria of HAMD and Kupperman, and the related hormone levels were detected and recorded. Adverse reactions after treatment were also observed. Results Clinical results showed that the HAMD and Kupperman score of both groups in end of treatment were better than before treatment, and the improvement degree in observation group were better than control in. The differences were signiifcant (P<0.05). Test results showed that the improvement of various hormonal indicators in observation group were also better than that in control group, the diffierences were significant (P<0.05). 8 cases of adverse reactions were observed in observation group after treatment, 12 cases in control group. Adverse reactions included breast tenderness, vaginal bleeding and gastrointestinal discomfort. The side effects between both groups had no signiifcant difference. Conclusion The efifcacy of Estradiol on perimenopausal syndrome was obvious, it can improve the menopausal symptoms, with less adverse reactions, and improve the life quality of perimenopausal women.

Objective The aim of this study is to identify association between increased serum activity of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and metabolic parameters in non-alcoholic population of north China. Methods A total of 5351 subjects who came to visit Yuquan Hospital of Tsinghua University for health examinations during May to December 2007 were divided into two groups based on their serum ALT activities, one with equal to or more than 40 U/L and the other with less than 40. Anthropometric data, blood pressure, serum ALT, serum levels of triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high-dense lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), low-dense lipoprotein-cbolesterol (LDL-C) and fasting blood glucose (FBG) were measured for all of them. Results Body mass index (BMI), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C and FBG were significantly different between the two groups. BMI, TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C and FBG all associated with increased ALT both in males and females. DBP associated with increased ALT in males and SBP with it in females, logistic regression analysis showed that male, younger age, raised BMI, TG, TC, FBG and reduced HDL-C were strongly associated with increased serum ALT. Conclusions Results showed that metabolic disturbance such as obesity, hypertension, dyalipidemia, hyperglycemia, and so on associated with increased ALT in non-alcoholic population of north China.
