Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(01):-
Objective: The scavenging capacity of free radicals by enzymes-hydrolyzed wheat bran (EHWB) and its protection against DNA damage were studied in vitro. Method: EHWB, prepared by hydrolyzing de-starched wheat bran using enzymes from Aspergillus niger fermentation, was used to test its scavenging capacity of free radicals and protection against DNA damage caused by hydroxyl free radical in vitro. Results: The capacity of scavenging free radicals by EHWB was shown, and EHWB could protect DNA damage caused by hydroxyl radicals. Conclusion: EHWB has higher free radicals scavenging capacity.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the characteristics of adverse drug reactions(ADR)of our hospital so as to promote rational drug use in the clinic.METHODS:1162ADR cases collected during2002~2004in our hospital were analyzed retrospectively.RESULTS:The occurrence of ADR induced by combined use of drugs accounted for33.6%of the total(390cases),chiefly through IV.Altogether531kinds of drugs involved ADR,in which the anti-infective agents(110kinds)took the lead which amounted to51.3percent of the total, then came the antineoplastic agents, cardiovascular system medicines and Chinese drugs preparations. The first3drugs that involved highest frequency of ADR occurrences were levofloxacin,cefo?peazone/sulbactam and azithromycin. The main clinic manifestations of ADR were skin damage, then gastro-intestinal damage and etc. There were28serious ADR cases.CONCLUSION:The cultivation of professional ability and quality of professional staff should be strengthened and an omnibearing ADR monitoring work should be carried out so as to reduce and avoid the occurrence of ADR.

China Pharmacy 2001;0(10):-
OBJECTIVE:To understand the situation of adverse drug reactions occured and the harm to pa?tients.METHODS:298cases reported in our hospital were classified, analysed and evaluated.RESULTS:165kinds of drug caused adverse drug reactions,of which anti-infective agents occupied the first place, anticancer agents the second, cardiovas?cular and herbal agents induced ADRs very often too.The combined use of drugs accounted for28.5%in patients with ADRs.Most ADRs were induced by drugs given via intravenous route. The main types of ADRs were skin damage,gastro-intestinal damage,fever,etc.20cases had severe ADRs(6.7%).CONCLUSION:The adverse drug reactions difficult to observe and chronic ones should be paid more attention to.

Objective To explore the influence of salinomycin in the growth, apoptosis and invasion of human bladder cancer 5637 cells, and to clarify its possible mechanism. Methods The human bladder cancer 5637 cells cultured invitro at logarithmic growth phase were divided into control group and different doses of salinomycin(15, 30 and 60μmol·L-1 )groups. The inhibitory rate of the growth of 5637 cells in various groups was measured by MTT assay. Flow cytometry was used to detect the apoptotic rates of 5637 cells in various groups. The invasiveness of 5637 cells was tested by Matrigel Invasion Assay. The expression levels ofβ-catenin protein in 5637 cells in various groups were determined by Western blotting method. Results Compared with control group, the inhibitory rates of growth of human bladder cancer 5637 cells in different doses of salinomycin groups were increased significantly(P<0.05);the apoptotic rates were increased(P<0.05).the number of cells passed the Matrigel was decreased(P<0.05),and the expression level ofβ-catenin protein was decreased (P<0.05).Compared with low dose of salinomycin group, the inhibitory rate of growth of 5637 cells in high dose of salinomycin group was increased(P<0.05);the apoptotic rate was increased(P<0.05),the number of cells passed the Matrigel was decreased (P < 0.05 ), and the expression levels of β-catenin protein was decreased (P<0.05). Conclusion Salinomycin can inhibit the growth of 5637 cells significantly, increase the apoptosis, and decrease the cell invasion;the inhibitory effect may act by inhibiting the Wnt/β-catenin pathway.

Objective To study the effects of butylphthalide on homocysteine (Hcy) and C-reactive protein (CRP) levels in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods One hundred and ten patients with acute cerebral infarction were divided into control group and treatment group by random digits table, with 55 patients in each group. Two groups were given conventional treatment for 3 weeks, and treatment group was added butylphthalide 200 mg oral application, thrice a day.Two groups were compared in the total effective rate, neurological deficit scores (NDS) and serum Hcy and CRP levels. Results The total effective rate in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group [ 89.09% (49/55) vs.61.82% (34/55),x2 =11.044,P< 0.01 ].The NDS in two groups after treatment were significantly decreased than those before treatment [treatment group:( 11.24 ± 3.19) scores vs.(23.19 ± 4.06) scores, control group:( 18.56 ± 4.03 )scores vs. (22.31 ± 4.17) scores,P < 0.01 ],and NDS in treatment group after treatment was significantly lower than that in control group (P< 0.01 ).The serum Hcy and CRP levels in two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment [ treatment group:( 13.12 ± 3.58 ) μ mol/L vs.(27.36 ± 6.84 )μ mol/L,( 10.33 ± 3.10) mg/L vs.( 18.96 ± 5.38) mg/L;control group:( 16.41 ± 4.76) μ mol/L vs.(28.73 ±6.32) μ mol/L,(13.16±4.02) mg/L vs. (19.17 ± 5.74) mg/L,P < 0.01 ],serum Hcy and CRP levels in treatment group after treatment were significantly lower than those in control group (P < 0.01 ).Conclusion Butylphthalide can reduce serum Hcy and CRP levels, reduce inflammation and improve the condition of patients with acute cerebral infarction.

AIM:To investigate the effect of ?-cyclodextrin inclusion on transdermal absorption of volatile oil in lilac-cassiabark Gel. METHODS: The release test of two kinds of lilac-cassiabark Gel(gel A without ?-cyclodextrin inclusion and gel B with ?-cyclodextrin inclusion) was assayed with Franz diffusion cell with the help of the cumulative amount of eugenol in unit area in vitro. RESULTS: The percutaneous absorption process of eugenol in two kinds of gels were conformed to zero-order releasing model, and the transdermal rates were 16.212?4.128 and 11.344?1.929 ?g/(cm~2?h) respectively.Compared with gel A,the transdermal rate of eugenol was slower in gel B(P

Journal of International Oncology 2021;48(3):167-171
As an emerging tumor marker, the rarity and heterogeneity of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) increase the difficulty of detection. In recent years, CTCs enrichment technology based on biophysical, biochemical and microfluidic properties has been continuously developed, which has promoted the research and application of CTCs in malignant tumors diagnosis, clinical treatment and prognosis evaluation. Although there are still some deficiencies in the detection of CTCs, with the interdisciplinary integration, CTCs will play increasingly important roles in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors.
