ObjectiveTo evaluate the safety and efficacy of the refractive effect produced by the implantation of intrastromal corneal ring （ICR）．MethodsEach of the 60 eyes （30 rabbits） received an ICR．The thickness of the ICRs varied from 0.19mm to 0.41mm．Each eye underwent a preoperative and postoperative examinations at the lst，3rd，7th and 14th day；the lst，3rd and 6th month．Slit-lamp biomicroscopy and an ORBSCANTM slit scan corneal tomography／pachymetry system were performed at predetermined intervals throughout the follow-up periods．ResultsThe decrease of corneal curvature was observed after ICR implantation in all of the eyes．There was a direct relationship between the ICR thickness and the degree of corneal flattening achieved．The equation is：D＝1.4353－32.87×thickness．The postoperative refractive effect was stable．Wound healing was uncomplicated and central cornea remained transparent．ConclusionThe ICR implantation is safe and effective and the refractive effect is predictive and stable．

Objective To investigate the carriage and homology of carbapenemase genes of multidrug-resistant Acinetobacterbaumannii (MDRAB)in Wujiang area.Methods A total of 44 non-duplicated MDRAB isolated from patients in 3 general hospitals in Wujiang area from January 2010 to December 2013 were collected. Minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs)were detected,carbapenemase genes OXA-51,OXA-23,OXA-24,OXA-58, IMP,TEM,SHV,and GES were amplified with polymerase chain reaction(PCR),homology of strains was detec-ted with pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE).Results 44 MDRAB strains were mainly collected from sputum (93.18% ),mainly distributed in intensive care unit (ICU),department of respiratory diseases,and department of neurosurgery,accounting for 45.45% ,27.27% ,and 13.64% respectively;MDRAB were both sensitive to minocy-cline and polymyxin B,resistance rates to piperacillin,ampicillin/sulbactam,ceftazidime,gentamicin,amikacin, and ciprofloxacin were all 100.00% ,resistance rates to imipenem and meropenem were both 97.73% . 44 MDRAB strains were all detected OXA-51,OXA-23 and TEM genes,12 strains were positive for GES gene,1 strain was positive for OXA-58 and SHV respectively,OXA-24 and IMP genes were not found ;MDRAB were divided into 7 types of G-A,which included 19,3,9,3,1,4,and 5 strains respectively,type A was mainly from two large gen-eral hospitals in Wujiang area (Wujiang First People’s Hospital and Shengze Hospital),type B,D and E strains were not detected in Wujiang First People’s Hospital,type E strain was only 1 isolate and was from Yongding Hos-pital,the other types were sporadically distributed.Conclusion Multidrug resistance of clinically isolated Acineto-bacterbaumannii is serious in Wujiang area,OXA-23 and TEM genes are major causes of multidrug resistance in Acinetobacterbaumannii,the main types are A and C,which present clonal spread.

Objective To investigate the significance of Human papilloma virus(HPV)typing in the screening of cervical dis-ease.Methods 687 cases of gynecological patients in the hospital were enrolled in the study,whose HPV-DNA genotype was detec-ted by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(FQ-PCR).In addition to that,389 healthy women who took gynecological examina-tion in the hospital in the same period were enrolled in the study,HPV-DNA quantitative detection were performed on those people (FQ-PCR were used)firstly,and the persons with more than 5×102 IU/mL HPV-DNA were tested for the HPV-DNA subtype. Results In the 687 cases of gynecological patients,164 cases were HPV positive which accounted for 23.9%;The single-infection patients accounted for 74.3%,mixed infection accounted for 25.6%.The mixed infection included 2 -4 types of infection,among which the double infection was most common.The common type were HPV16,52,58 and 35.In 389 cases of healthy women,29 ca-ses were found HPV positive,which accounted for 7.5%;The single infection accounted for 79.3%,mixed infection accounted for 20.7%,mixed infection included 2-3 types of HPV infection,in which double infection is the most common situation.The common type were HPV52,58,16 and 18.Conclusion HPV infection is the major cause of cervical cancer,HPV detection and typing con-tribute to cervical cancer screening and its prevention.

Infected crabs were collected from Siyen, Hubei Provine, and adult worms were obtained from the lungs of experimentally infected dogs 90 days post-infection.The normal structure of body wall of the P. skrjabini is composed of tegument, tegument cell, musele, muscle cell and protoplasmic tubules, all of which form together syncytium.The tegument contains external plasma membrane, tegument matrix and basal plasma membrane. The cell coat in fine granules is distributed over the whole external plasma membrane surface. The tegument matrix contains various secretory bodies, vesicles and mitochondria. The tegument cell is irregular in shape. Golgi complex, ribosome, autoly-sosome are seen in the cytoplasm. There are two layers of muscle, the external circular muscle and the inner longitudinal muscle layers. The nucleus of immature muscle cell has many heterochromatins, while the nucleus of mature muscle cell is large and round in shaps. Mitochondria and glyco-gen granules are transmitted from muscle cell proper to the muscle by protoplasmic tubules (Figs. 1-7).

Purpose:To discuss the treatments for lung cancer which involved carina of the bronchus and its complications. Methods:The surgical skill, airway management, postoperative complications of the pneumonectomy of right lung and reconstruction of carina and bronchus for lung cancer in 12 patients were discussed. Results:The 1.2.3 year survival rates are 100%(12/12),67%(8/12)and17%(2/12) respectively.There was no cases operative mortality and no severe past-operative complications. Conclusions:There is some value in this method but the indication must be strictly controlled.

Objective]The clinical efficacy of TCM directed through drug treatment of pain for the first time with the temperature needle shoulder-hand syndrome after caused by stroke.[Methods]The 90 cases were randomly divided into treatment and control groups.The treatment group was directed through medicine with traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture treatment temperature ,the control group using only warm acupuncture.Respectively, before treatment, the first 30 days of oral grading score(VRS) was assessed for limb pain.[Results]After treatment ,the patient's limb pain scores were significantly lower than before treatment,treatment group decreased more significantly than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05). [Conclusion]TCM directed through drug treatment and needle with warm warm acupuncture alone can significantly ease the pain of limb ,but TCM directed through drug treatment is better than warm needle acupuncture alone.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Firebird drug-eluting stent (DES) in the treatment of de novo native coronary artery lesions.Methods 60 patients underwent coronary artery stenting with Firebird DES (Firebird group), 52 patients with Cypher DES (Cypher group) and another 20 patents with Mustang bare stents (Mustang group). The instant and short term follow-up outcomes were compared among the three groups.
