5.Study on the clinical significance of conserving the greater auricular nerve in parotidectomy of benign parotid tumors
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(9):1347-1348
Objective To investigate the feasibility, technique and clinical significance of preserving the great auricular nerve in parotid benign tumors surgery during the first postoperative year. Methods Fifty-two patients with parotid benign tumors were randomly divded into 2 groups.24 patients (group sacrificed) underwent classic parotidectomy with sacrifice of the great auricular nerve. The surgeons spare the nerve in the 32 patients with FOCUS ultrasonic harmonic scalpel (group preserved). Results After surgery, both groups showed lower levels of subjective sensation and sensory function test at auricle. These alterations were less pronounced in group preserved. Both groups showed improvement over time.In group preserved the sensory function reached normal level by 12 months after surgery. The recuperation in group sacrificed was partial at 12 months after operation. Conclusion The great auricular nerve preservation during parotidectomy is feasible,It can decrease sensory disturbance in the early postoperative period and avoid the permanent sequelae that occur when the nerve is sacrificed. The FOCUS ultrasonic harmonic scalpel technique can reduce the operation time.
7.THE PRELIMINARY APPLICATION OF RADIATION SYNOVECTOMY WITH ~(32)P-CHROMIC PHOSPHATE
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(04):-
Twenty-three joints in 14 cases of chronic synovitis were treated with intra-articular injection of 32 p-chromic phosphate, including 19 knee joints, one elbow joint with rheumatoid arthritis and 3 knee joints with degenerative arthritis that was recractory to medical treatment. Results of 23 joints evaluated at end of one year were excellent in 43.5$, good in 30.5%, .fair in 13% and poor in 13%. There was a good correlation between the radiographic stage of the joints and the response to treatment. Patients in stage 1 and 2 were more likely to have good to excellent response. Cur study shows that radiation synovectomy is a simple, safe and effective treatment than other managements for chronic synovitis

Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 1988;0(03):-
The quantitative determination of octanoate content in albumin product was performed by acid base titration directly after the water phase was mixed up with the ether phase using the mixture solvent solution. The three factor optimum seeking principle was used to seek the optimum concentrations and volumes of components in mixture solvent solution and the optimum conditions of extraction. The method had its recovery rate of 99. 8+0. 89%(n=6) and variation coeff-cient (CV)of 0. 89%(n= 16),indicating that the method was a precise and reliable one.
10.Effects of Semen Litchi on the Expressions of S180 and EAC Tumor Cells and Bax and Bcl-2 Proteins in Rats
China Pharmacy 2005;0(15):-
OBJECTIVE: To study the effects of Semen Litchi on the expressions of S180 and EAC tumor cells and Bax and Bcl-2 proteins in rats. METHODS: EAC, S180 and hepatic carcinoma tumor-bearing mice models were established in mice by inoculating them with tumor strains. EAC, S180 and hepatic carcinoma suspensions were diluted respectively with normal saline in a ratio of 1∶1 for the preparation of tumor-bearing ascites suspension. Each rat was subcutaneously inoculated with the mixture 0.2 mL via axilla 24 hours before medication, with the whole sterile operation finished within 60 minutes. After treated with Semen Litchi for 10 consecutive days, the growth of EAC, S180 and hepatic carcinoma in mice was observed. RESULTS: The growth of EAC and S180 and hepatic carcinoma cells in mice was significantly inhibited by Semen Litchi. CONCLUSION: Semen Litchi can inhibit the growth of S180 and EAC tumor cells in vitro and in vivo, and its antitumor effect is related to its ability to promote apoptotic of tumor cells.
