1.Studying effect of containing selenium yeast on liver, kidney functions of experimental animals
Journal of Medical Research 1998;8(4):36-40
The dried yeast (Saccharomyces ceaerevisiae) containing 500mg selenium/g was used in this study. The rabbits received yeast solution containing Selenium with doses of 20 and 40 mg/kg b.w per os daily in a course of 30 days consecutive. The experimental results showed that this selenium solution with above doses did not change significantly serum Transaminase, Cholesterol, Bilirubin and creatinin levels in comparison with the control group which received the solvent only. This solution did not damage the grossanatomy of liver, kidney, adrenal gland, pancreas, heart, lung and gastrointestine, but it damaged slightly the microstructure of liver and kidney of about 31% rabbits administrated selenium in doses of 20 and 40mg/kg b.w.

2.Studying influence of fruit Morinda citrifolia extract (MC) in immune index on CY induced immuno suppressive mice
Journal of Medical Research 2004;27(1):28-33
The fluid extract of MC (1 ml contains 1 gram fruit of MC) was used to evaluate its influence in immune index on immuno suppressive mice by CY. The fluid extract of MC in dose of 6 gram/kg body weight per oral route daily in 5 day consecutive course has increased relative weight of spleen and thymus, total leucocytes count, number of lymphocyte, natural killer and monocyte, rate of immune B rosette forming cells, plaque forming cells, the dermoreaction with OA antigen compare group that has been only injected CY without using any drug

3.Studies on effects of Morinda citrifolia fruit extract on constitution and hematogenesis in rats
Pharmaceutical Journal 2003;0(6):176-179
The study was carried out on rabbits at the daily dose of 6 g and 12 g/kg body weight. After 30 days, the activity of the rats in the experimental groups (receiving plant extract) and the control group (receiving distilled water) remained in the normal state. The measurements, such as the amount of red blood cells, platelets, white blood cells, the leucogram, hematochrome, hematocrit, mean corpuscular volume, showed no difference in the two experimental groups of rats (15 and 30 day-regimens) compared with the control group, and with before the administration of the extract. Therefore, the fruit extract of Morinda citrifolia had no effects on the health state and the hematogenic system of the experimental rabbits.

4.Studies on Experimental Acute Anti-inflammatory Effect of Morinda citrifolia
Journal of Medicinal Materials - Hanoi 2004;9(1):28-41
Morinda citrifolia L. belongs to Rubiaceae. By folk-experience, Morinda citrifolia is used to treat hypotensive, laxative, tonic, pain of sinew, osteocope, cough, asthma.
The liquid extract of Morinda citrifolia fruit in doses of 24g and 48g per kg body weight of mice have provoked acute anti-inflammatory effect through inhibiting carragenin induced edema in hind paw, decreasing volume and leucocyte count of exudation as compared with the control group. The acute anti-inflammatory effect of the fruit is equivalent to that of aspirin in a dose of 150mg/kg

6.Study on the diuretic and electrolites excuted effecs of bach hac on experimental animals
Journal of Medical Research 2003;26(6):22-26
Diuretic effect of Bach hac fluid extract was investigated on white rat. Results showed that Bach hac (Acaramthus nasutin – Acanthaceae) in the dose of 4g/kg – 6g/kg body weight has increased the elimination of Na+, K+, Cl- and Ca++ ions through kidney, the effect was most obvious in the 2nd and 4th hours after administration under any doses.

7.Study on antiematic effect and acute toxicity of Rhizoma Zingibezus siccus and Typhonium divaricatum Decne in experiments
Pharmaceutical Journal 2004;44(1):27-29
The exact of Zingiber officinale Rosc (ZO) and ZO-Typhonium divaricatum Decne (TD) complex were used to evaluate its antiemetic effect and acute toxicity on young dogs and mice. The results showed that the extract of ZO in dose of 0.1 g/kg body weigh, ZO 0.1 g and TD 0.12 g complex/kg body weigh per oral route have antiemetic effect in comparison with control one. Both of raw and pure TD extracts have equal effect. ZO and TD have a quite low acute toxicity

8.Study the method of preparation and effect on isolated heart of rabbit and acute toxicity of Monkshood extract of Spa (Lao Cai province)
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(8):12-14
Method of proceping and preparation of Aconitum carmichacli. Its effect on mouse’s isolated heart and acute toxicity extract. Radix Aconitum carmichacli colected in Sapa was processed by traditional method (Hai Thuong Lan Ong method and liquid extract method). Total alcoloid content and aconitive content were reduced. The product processed by various methods give different activities of cardiotonic. Concerning the acute toxicity, no mouse died with oral maximal dose of 327,27g of radix Aconitum per kilograme body weight
