2.Newborn neurological status in Hochiminh City
Ho Chi Minh city Medical Association 2004;0(3):131-134
At HungVương Hospital, 17-48 hours after birth, 58 newborn babies with fetal age of 39,5 weeks in average underwent a neurological examination. Results showed that in comparing with the original British cohort, Vietnamese newborns had got significantly lower scores in 10 out of 25 indicators, including almost relating to truncal tone. Among these studied subjects, the deficiency of long chains fatty acid was unsignificant, while this group of fatty acids was related strictly to the nerve, especially ophtalmic nerve. The relation between transketolase concentration with neurological status was not identified

3.Role and Effectiveness of Nurse Practitioner in Neurosurgical Field.
Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society 1996;25(7):1377-1382
The purpose of this article is to identify and explain the role and effectiveness of nurse practitioners(NPs) in the field of neurosurgery. The role of nurse practitioner has expanded over the past 15 years in the areas of administration, clinical activities, counseling, and surgical assistance. One primary activity of the NPs in our department is the frequent periodic neurological examination and rapid detection of deteriorating critical patients. They also improve the rapport between the patients and neurosurgery service and cover wevere manpower shortage or resident staffs. The department of neurosurgery in the hospital can maintain adequate coverage for the neurosurgical patients without increasing the number of residents. The author believes that NPs can improve the quality of care and outcome in a cost-effective manner. Concerns with acceptance and the role of neurosurgical NPs are clearly no longer on issue.

6.Symptomatology of Dementia.
Journal of Korean Geriatric Psychiatry 1997;1(1):34-47
Dementia can be defined as an acquired persistent impairment of intellectual func-tion with compromise in at least three of the mental activities such as language, memory, visuospatial skill, emotion or personality, and cognition. The purposes of diagnosing a dementia syndrome are to search systemically for various etiologies, to differentiate reversible or irreversible dementia, cortical or subcortical dementia, and degenerative or nondegenerative dementia, and to apply to patients neurocognitive rehabilitation or other specific trea-tment strategies. The evaluation of dementia includes neuropsychiatric history taking, neuropsychological assessment, neurologic examination, neuroimaging studies, and laboratory studies. It is impossible to evaluate dementic patients only with clinical signs, symptoms, and neuropsychiatric histories. But I will address specific neurologic or neuropsychiatric symptoms and signs of various dementias to und-erstand them as classification.

7.Neck Pain.
Hanyang Medical Reviews 2009;29(1):33-38
Neck pain is common symptom; one out of three individuals can recall at least one incidence of neck pain in their lifetime. Evaluating and treating common cervical spine conditions calls for a probability analysis of what injured structure is most likely causing the patient's complaints. The newer diagnostic procedures must supplement the diagnostic approach but must never replace the proper interpretation of a careful history, the reproduction of the symptoms during the examination, or the performance of to meaningful orthopedic and neurologic examination. This review is offered to summarize all of these considerations with the intent of ascertaining proper management of the patient with pain in the neck or from the neck.

Clinical Psychopharmacology and Neuroscience 2017;15(2):194-196
Present report describes a 46 year old male patient with a diagnosis of major depression who developed tardive dyskinesia during bupropion therapy. Our patient had no history of neuroleptic use and his laboratory and neurologic examinations were normal. He had no family history of neurologic diseases. Although bupropion induced dyskinesia has been previously reported in the literature, it is rare and our case is the first case regarding tardive dyskinesia.

Journal of Korean Academy of Community Health Nursing 2005;16(4):508-516
PURPOSE: This study was conducted to analyze industrial workers' stresses from physical symptoms, PWI, JCQ and tasks in classification of Sasang constitutions. METHOD: Data were collected from industrial workers in J Province from May 2003 to June 2003. Questionnaires were distributed and collected on the day of their physical examination. Collected data were analysed through chi2-test. RESULT: Health-related characteristics showed that most of smokers and drinkers were Taeumins and this result was statistically significant. Physical symptoms related to constitutions indicated that GI and neurologic symptoms are significantly more frequent in Soeumin. The percentage of subjects with moderate risk was high in order of Soyangin, Taeumin and Soeumin while the percentage of subjects with high risk was high in order of Soeumin, Taeumin and Soyangin. CONCLUSION: Through this study, Lee Jae Ma's theory was be confirmed compatible with disease characteristics. However, research with more various subjects and variables needs to be made.
