Nowadays, scientists are focus on studying the hereditary basic of renal cancer in order to detect early renal cancer and initially apply some treatment methods at molecular level. There are 4 types of renal cancer: Firstly, clear cell renal carcinoma is the most common one. Secondly, hereditary papillary renal carcinoma type I (HPRC) generated from epithelium of distal convoluted tubules which was discovered by Zbar in 1944, often occurs after 40 year old. Thirdly, hereditary chromophobe renal carcinoma and oncocytome which were described by Thoenes in 1985 and by Zipell in 1942 respectively. Hereditary oncocytome was found by Weirich in 1998. Lung cancer is one of the most important malignant tumors of human health and life in the world, and is the leading cause of death in the world. At present, it is believed that it is caused by many factors. Circular RNA (circRNA), as a class of non-coding RNA family, has covalently closed loop structure. CircRNA is abundant in different cells. CircRNAs due to the special structure, with a high degree of specificity, conservation and stability, may have a potential clinical value in the development of lung cancer. The biological function of circRNA is multi-faceted, including miRNA sponge, transcriptional and alternative splicing, protein coding , and so on. Currently, the role and mechanism of circRNA in lung cancer is not very clear. In this paper, the characteristics, function, mechanism and the role of circRNAs in the occurrence and development of lung cancer are reviewed.

Most hematological tumors have high-grade malignancy and low cure rate, requiring new molecular markers for detection and evaluation. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a class of non-coding RNAs with covalently closed-loop structures, which participate in gene transcription and translation by binding to microRNAs and proteins. In recent years, with the deepening research on circRNAs, circRNAs have been found to play an important role in hematological malignancies. In this review, the latest research progress on the function and molecular mechanism of circRNAs in hematological malignancies was systematically summarized, and it was found that circRNAs may be potential new biomarkers and therapeutic targets in hematological malignancies.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of endogenous small non-coding RNAs that play an important role in the pathogenesis and progression of tumor. Recently, it is discovered that circulating microRNA exist stably in body fluids, such as serum/plasma, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, urine, breast milk and so on. Circulating microRNA profiles now have been associated with different hematologic malignancy types, disease states and prognosis. They may serve as a new class of non-invasive diagnostic or prognostic biomarkers, and even the potential therapeutic targets in hematologic malignancies. In this article, the circulating miRNA, existent pattern and function of circulating miRNA, and circulating miRNA and hematologic malignancies are reviewed.

MicroRNA (miRNA), small non-coding RNA consisted of 19-24 nucleotides, are able to regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. The aberrant expressions of miRNA have been found in various cancers and contribute to carcinogenesis by promoting the expression of proto-oncogenes or by inhibiting the expression of tumor suppressor genes. miRNA are related closely with the oncogenesis, progression, and prognosis of tumors. The discovery of the aberrant expression of miRNA in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) and its target genes are helpful for the understanding of the pathogenesis of PDA and for the early diagnosis and prediction of this disease. In this paper, we summarize the recent research advances in miRNA expression in PDA and its target genes and discuss the potential role of miRNA in the diagnosis, and treatment of PDA.

microRNAs (miRNAs) are endogenous, small noncoding RNA molecules discovered in animals, plants and viruses. They play a critical role in developmental and physiological processes and are implicated in the pathogenesis of many human cancers. Presently, human cancer, including colorectal cancer, is recognized as both a genetic and epigenetic disease. Changes induced by miRNAs are considered as epigenetic changes. Experiments were largely performed to analyze the colorectal microRNAome and bio-networking involving miRNAs. This review focuses on recent advances in colorectal miRNA expression profiles. Further, we discuss the regulatory network of miRNAs in the initiation and carcinogenesis of colon cancer in order to open up an avenue of anticancer therapy based on the epigenetic regulation by miRNAs.
