To analyze six cases concerning clinical features, the treatment process and curative effect of Rhinolith. The six patients had unilateral nasal obstruction, three of them were accompanied with purulent nasal discharge, two had blood with them, one patient had repeated hemorrhage of nasal cavity and two patients had developed headache. By using endoscopic, four irregular stones which are yellow, gray and brown were found in the middle and back end. Because of the severe nasal septum deviation and inferior turbinate polypoid, the stone could not be seen clearly but could be touched by aspirator. In sinus CT examination of 6 cases, it showed incomplete irregular shapes and had high density unilateral nasal cavity in the posterior segment. 4 patients had nasal deviation, 3 patients had ipsilateral sinusitis. 4 patients removed their stone by using endoscopy, 2 patients took the stone away after correction of nasal septum. Pathologic diagnosis: rhinolith. Two patients also had exogenous foreign matters which were considered as pseudo nasal stones.

Patients with nasopharyngeal foreign body sensation for 3 years, and had nasal obstruction in the past six months. electric nasopharyngoscopy: a irregular ellipse shape mass occupied in the nasopharynx, the mass surface is not smooth, with erosion ulcer and filthy secretions, the mass had a root in the back-end of nasal septum, and was adjacent to the bilateral round pillow. Sinus CT showed an irregular soft tissue shadow connected to the nasal septum backend in the nasopharynx, the size is about 2.8 cm X 3.5 cm, CT value is about 43 HU. Pathological examination: papillary adenocarcinoma.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(20):1605-1606
OBJECTIVE:
To explore curative effect with pedicle flap of nasal septum-basis nasi and temporal muscucofascial flap to repair nasal septal perforation.
METHOD:
Dissecting mucoperichondrium and mucoperioseptum around the perforation and taking dowm and out xia-ward to the floor of nasal cavity to make a inferior extremity pedicle flap. Then, the flap was tumbled and sutured onto raw surface of contralateral side through perforation. Reapplicating autoallergic temporal musculofascial flap to repair another side perforation.
RESULT:
Repairing perforation Sin twelve cases were sucessfully healed in endoscope.
CONCLUSION
The pedicle flap of nasal septum-basis nasi and temporal muscucofascial flap is easy to acquire and no rejection. The flap has good blood supplying, high survival rate and provides adequate transplantating materail to repair comparatively large perforation.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2009;23(5):209-210
OBJECTIVE:
To summarize clinical features, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of basal cell adenocarcinoma.
METHOD:
A retrospective study were subjected to one case with basal cell adenocarcinoma of the nasal septum, and the related literature were reviewed.
RESULT:
Basal cell adenocarcinoma often occurred in the salivary glands and minor salivary glands of salivary palate and other parts. The symptoms mainly presented with a local lump. Major treatment method was radical surgical resection and, if necessary, supplemented by radiotherapy.
CONCLUSION
Basal cell adenocarcinoma is rare seen in the salivary gland tumors. It has a tendency of low-grade malignancy but need long-term follow-up of a large samples.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2016;30(3):249-251
A 67-year-old male patient was admitted because of "the right side nasal obstruction repeatedly for 4 years". He got nasal obstruction 4 years ago, especially for the right side nasal cavity, sometimes got blood in his nasal discharge, then the symptom relieved after accepting treatment in local hospital. During the 4 years, the symptom repeatedly occurrence. Three days before hospitalization, the CT examination indicated abnormal things in his nasal cavity and the bone of his nasal sinus had been destroyed. Some abnormal organism were sent to pathological examination, and the report indicated it is acinic cell carcinoma of salivary gland. During the nasal endoscope surgery, a red goiter was found in his nose with its surface crude and brittle. Then we cut the goiter by nasal endoscope, during the operation we find the bottom of the goiter is on the nasal septum. Two weeks after the operation, the patient received the radiation therapy. One year after the operation he doesn't get the abnormal symptom and the nasal MRI not found recidivation.

Qinying WANG ; Shenqing WANG ; Shuihong ZHOU ; Yuyu LU
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2009;23(2):60-62
OBJECTIVE:
To study the methods of the surgical treatment for the nasal septum mass.
METHOD:
Two hundred and fifty-three cases of nasal septum mass were treated by surgery in our department from March 1983 to August 2007. Their clinical data were retrospectively analyzed.
RESULT:
After follow-up, most cases had no postoperative recurrence of nasal obstruction and epistaxis.
CONCLUSION
If the diagnosis was confirmed, the effect of the surgical treatment for the nasal septum benign tumor is satisfactory. Follow-up should be done in cases with malignant tendency and malignant tumors.
