We report a case of tinea incognito occurring in a 47-year-old woman who deveoped erythematous papules and scaly patches on whole body after taking corticosteroid therapy intermittently over a period of 3 months. Direct smear and culture for fungus of the lesions demonstrated hyphae and C. albicans and T. mentagrophytes, which confirms the diagnosis. The lesions disappeared three months after systemic and topical antifungal therapy.

We report two cases of segmental neurofibromatosis that developed in s. 33-year-old female and a 35-years-old female. The skin lesions situated on the right C3 and C4 dermatomes, and on the right C2 dermatome respectively. Biopsy specimen showed collagenous wavy fibrils among which spindle-shaped and round cells were embedded as seen in the typical neurofibroma. These cases were considered to be true segmental neurofibromstosis.

Cutaneous horn is the clinical term for a circumscribed, conical, markedly hyperkeratotic lesion. We report a case of cutaneous horn occuring on the face in a 81 year old women. An about 1.2 X1.3 cm sized dark brownish conical horn was developed on her face 1 year before. Histopathologic findings showed marked hyperkeratosis, parakeratosis, and papillornatosis of the epidermis, and some cells of straturn mslpighii showed pleornorphism and nuclesr atypis. This case was considered to be cutaneous horn arising from actinic keratosis, and we performed minimal local excision.

Annals of Dermatology 1991;3(1):40-44
We report a case of porokeratotic eccrine ostial and dermal duct nevus in a 28-year old man. The skin lesions, present since birth, were multiple keratotic papules and punctate pits on the palms, soles and heels bilaterally. Histopathologically, the lesion was characterized by dilatation and hyperplasia of the eccrine sweat ducts with parakeratotic plugs related to sweat gland pores. This entity should be considered the differential diagnosis of other types of porokeratosis and comedo-like keratosis on palms and soles.

Crohns disease is a granulomatous isease of the gastrointetin 1 tract, especially terminal ileum, but may involve the lip, mouth, anus, skin, liver and bone. The skin is a common site of extraintestinal involvement in Crohns disease, with the perianil, perineal, and peristomal areas most frequently affected. Vulvar involvement, however, is an uncommon extraintestinal manifestantion of Crohns disease. We report a case of a 16-year-old girl with Crohns disease of the vulva and perianal region. A histopathologic study of the descending colon and vulvar skin showed noncaseating granulomatous reactions composed of lymphocytes, epithelioidell and giant cells. We were able to make the diagnosis of Crohns disease of the vulvar and the patient was treated with prednisolone and metronidazole.

Kerion celsi is an inflammatory type of tinea capitis. We report a case of Kerion celsi caused by Micropsporum canis in 51 year-old man. When he visited our hospital, he suffered from hair loss and erythematous scaly patched and pustules on the scalp and papules on the face with tenderness and itching sensation. Cultures from scalp lesion and infected hair on Sabouraud glucose agar media showed Microsporum canis. Histopathologic findings showed graunlomatous changes in dermis and many spores around the hair shaft. Treatment was done topically with antifungal ointment and systernically with antibiotics, steroid and antifungsl agents. It is uncommon in adults, especially in men, but this condition must be considered when clinicians are evaluating patients with hair loss and nonspecific scalp dermatitis.
