3.Observation of Clinical Efficacy of Puerarin Combined with β-aescine Sodium in the Treatment of Patients with Postoperative Edema of Hand Trauma
China Pharmacy 2015;(20):2843-2845
OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of puerarin combined with β-aescine sodium in the treatment of pa-tients with postoperative edema of hand trauma. METHODS:118 patients with postoperative edema of hand trauma were random-ly divided into observation group (n=59) and control group (n=59) by number. Both groups were taken infrared physiotherapy and appropriate physical treatment such as hand functional exercise;patients in control group was added β-aescine sodium 10 mg based on the physical treatment,iv,once a day;observation group was added puerarin 200 mg based on the treatment of control group,iv,once a day. Both groups were taken 10 days for one course of treatment. Compared the swelling scores, perimeter of suf-fered limb and edema scores, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of patients between the two groups before and after treatment. RESULTS:The symptoms of hand limb swelling in 2 groups were obviously improved(P<0.01 or P<0.05),however,observa-tion group was better than that of control group, with significant difference(P<0.05);after treatment, the swelling, perimeter of suffered limb and swelling score in observation group were lower than control group, with significant differences(P<0.05);the to-tal effective rate in observation group was 94.91% and control group was 83.05%,with significant difference(P<0.05). No ADR was found in 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS:Puerarin combination with β-aescine sodium has obvious efficacy and safety in the treat-ment of postoperative edema of hand trauma.
4.Risk Factors and Prognostic Evaluation of Transient Ischemic Attack
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2008;16(12):898-901
Transient ischemic attack (TIA) is the most important early warning signal of cerebral infarction, and it is also the critical period for the prevention of cerebral infarction. If we effectively control the risk factors of TIA, the onset and the progress of TIA can be prevented and controlled, This article reviews the correlation between the risk factors of TIA and prognosis.
5.A meta-analysis of effectiveness of an implant-supported mandibular overdenture retained with a ball attachment
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(47):7702-7708
BACKGROUND:There is no design that can completely rule out the intermittent impact damage to implants, therefore, a new bal attachment-retained implant system is constantly updated and developed. OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of an implant-supported mandibular overdenture retained with a bal attachment. METHODS: We searched the Cochrane Library, PubMed, Medline, EM-base, WanFang Data, CNKI, VIP and other databases by computer to colect randomized controled trials addressing the implant-supported mandibular overdenture retained with a bal attachment and other control methods for dentures. The time limit was from database creation to February 2014. Two researchers independently completed literature screening according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, data extraction and quality assessment. RevMan 5.1 software was used for meta-analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: There were 10 studies included in result analysis, including 7 from China and 3 from other countries. Analysis results showed that statistical heterogeneity was remarkable in included studies, and there was no significant difference in patient’s satisfaction, clinical and objective indicators, and complications, suggesting that this approach continues to be explored in clinic. The implant-supported bal attachment-retained mandibular overdenture is relatively expensive, which is identical with the current research progress that is in the exploration stage worldwide. Due to the limited quantity and quality of included studies, the conclusions of this systematic review only provide references for clinical practice and research. The implant-supported bal attachment-retained mandibular overdenture stil needs further exploration and improvement.
6.Periodontal tissue remodeling assisted by three kinds of orthodontic appliances: osteoclast differentiation factor mRNA expression under pressure
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;19(16):2562-2566
BACKGROUND:Recent studies have shown that osteoclast differentiation factor is closely related to osteoclast differentiation, formation and function in bone remodeling during orthodontic tooth movement. OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of three kinds of orthodontic appliances on the expression of osteoclast differentiation factor at the pressure side of rat periodontal tissue during remodeling process and to explore the biocompatibility of the orthodontic appliances with the host tissues during orthodontic treatment. METHODS:Eighty healthy Wistar rats were selected to establish animal models of orthodontic tooth movement, and then randomly divided into four groups: control group, MBT group, Begg group, Damon Ⅲ appliance group. Four animal from each group were sacrificed at 3, 7, 14 days after wearing orthodontic appliances. The tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase staining was used to count the osteoclasts at the pressure side of alveolar bone tissue; real-time quantitative PCR detection to detect mRNA expression of osteoclast differentiation factor at the pressure side of periodontal tissue and time distribution characteristics. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with the control group, the number of positive osteoclasts and mRNA expression of osteoclast differentiation factor at the pressure side of the alveolar bone tissue were increased with orthodontic time, reached the peaked at 7 days and then gradualy decreased. The number of positive osteoclastsand mRNA expression of osteoclast differentiation factor at the pressure side of the alveolar bone tissue were significantly higher in the Damon Ⅲ group than the other three groups at 7 days after orthodontic treatment (P < 0.05). These findings indicate that, during the bone remodeling, the number of positive osteoclasts changed in accordance with the mRNA expression of osteoclast differentiation factor, and at 7 days, the number of positive osteoclasts and mRNA expression of osteoclast differentiation factor were highest in the Damon Ⅲ group.
7.Advance of small incision lenticule extraction with femtosecond laser
International Eye Science 2016;16(8):1492-1494
?The small incision lenticule extraction ( SMILE ) with femtosecond laser is a new mode of corneal refractive surgeryrecently. The safety, efficacy, stability and predictability of SMILE lead the corneal refractive surgery to a new world that only use femtosecond laser to correct myopia. With the development and popularity of SMILE, the clinical effect has aroused much concern. But there remain exited disputes in refractive stability, visual quality and corneal biomechanical property, contrast sensitivity and glare symptoms, corneal sensitivity and dye eye, corneal endothelial cells and intraocular pressure. These will be summarized in this review.
8.Changes of postoperative intraocular pressure and the relative factors after SMILE for high myopia
International Eye Science 2017;17(9):1646-1649
AIM:To explore the changes of intraocular pressure measured by noncontact tonometer (IOPNCT) with high myopia and analyze the relative fators after small incision lenticule extraction(SMILE).METHODS:A retrospective study.Totally 108 cases (216 eyes) with high myopia received SMILE during March 2015 to October 2016 were involved. The IOPNCT, corneal central thickness (CCT) and corneal curvature for 3mo were recorded and analyzed by ANOVA, LSD t test. The Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression model analysis were used to evaluate the relationship between IOPNCT and its influence factors.RESULTS:(1) There was significant statistical difference in IOPNCT after SMILE at 1d, 1wk, 1 and 3mo compare with preoperative (t=17.785, P=0.019;t=17.981, P=0.016;t=18.841, P=0.012;t=19.364, P=0.001);the IOPNCT after SMILE decreased. The IOPNCT values at every time after SMILE was no statistical difference (t=1.871, P=0.818;t=3.062, P=0.328;t=1.143, P=0.373).(2) The IOPNCT in high myopia were positive correlated with CCT and corneal curvature after SMILE (r=0.4356, 0.295;P<0.05), respectively.(3) The multiple linear regression model analysis revealed that Y=-14.601+0.348X1+0.03X2 (Y was IOPNCT, X1 was corneal curvature, X2 was CCT,P<0.001);Y=3.679+0.28X1+0.012X2 (Y was△IOPNCT,X1 was variation of corneal curvature,X2 was△CCT, P<0.001).CONCLUSION:The IOPNCT decreased after SMILE in high myipia, and it showed that there was no significant influence to use glucocorticoid eye drops in short terms. There was positive correlation among IOPNCT, CCT and corneal curvature after SMILE.
