Modern Hospital 2017;17(5):732-734
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of entecavir combined with Vitamin E in treating patients with Chronic hepatitis B complicated with non-alcoholic fatty liver. Methods Retrospective analysis was done by reviewing the clinical data of 103 patients, who suffered with chronic hepatitis B complicated with non-alcoholic fatty liver and treated in our hospital from 2015 to 2016.The patients were divided into the control group with 61 cases and the observation group with 42 cases based on different therapies. The control group was treated with only entecavir while the observation group was treated with entecavir and Vitamin E, and both the courses of treatment lasted for 6 months. The negative conversion ratio of HBV-DNA, levels of ALT, TBIL, ALP, the disease state and the adverse reactions of the two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results The negative conversion ratio of HBV-DNA of the observation group was obviously higher than that of the control group, and the patients of the observation group showed significant improvement.Meanwhile, the levels of ALT, TBIL and ALP in the two groups were both lower than before treatment.Compared with the control group, those indexes in the observation group were significantly lower (P<0.05).Conclusion Entecavir combined with Vitamin E for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B complicated with non-alcoholic fatty liver could significantly decrease the viral infections so that the state of patients can be improved.
5.Establish of animal model of nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2013;(1):91-95
Nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION)is a common optic neuropathy seriously affecting the visual function in the middle-aged and elderly population. However, its pathogenesis is not completely clear, and therefore its treating efficacy is dissatisfactory. The current study on NAION is focused on the establishment of suitable animal model and the pathogenesis. In recent years, the relatively ideal animal models(including rodent and primate) have been established by photodynamic methods, which make people have more in-depth understanding on the pathophysiologic mechanism of NAION and lay the basis for the research of therapies. The selection of experimental animals, various induction methods and existing problems in the creation of NAION animal model were reviewed and analyzed in this artical.

Objective To assess the clinical efficiency and side effects of topical mometasone furoate aqueous nasal spray for patients with naphazoline-induced rebound rhinitis. Methods A prospective, non-randomized and self-controlled study was applied. A total of 22 patients with naphazoline-induced rhinitis received two spray-puffs of 50 μg mometason furoate twice daily to each nostril in the morning for one week, followed by two spray-puffs of 50 μg mometason furoate once daily to each nostril every morning for another three weeks after withdrawn of naphazoline therapy. Nasal congestion was evaluated by visual an-alogue scale (VAS) recorded before and after treatment. Side effects like nose bleeding and perforation of the nasal septum was detected with rhinoscope. Results The statistical difference of VAS before and after treatment was significant. No adverse reac-tions as nose bleeding and perforation of the nasal septum were observed by the end of treatment. Conclusion It is safe and effective to use mometasone furoate aqueous nasal spray for treating rebound rhinitis induced by misuse of naphazoline nasal drop.
7.Value of multi-parametric MRI in the diagnosis of prostatic abscess
Journal of Practical Radiology 2014;(12):2016-2019
Objective To elucidate the MRI appearance of prostatic abscess, the DWI and enhanced MRI features. Methods 12 cases of prostatic abscesses were retrospectively analyzed, the clinical symptom mainly manifested as lower urinary tract symptoms and fever. All of the patients were given routine MR examination including DWI sequence,6 patients received further enhanced MR examination. Results In the 12 cases, there were 4 cases behaved as single type,8 cases as multifocal type. The abscess showed iso-or slightly hypo-signal intensity on T1 WI,hyper-signal intensity on T2 WI,markedly high signal intensity on DWI and correspond-ing markedly low signal intensity on ADC.Complete abscess walls showed iso-or slightly hyper signal on T1 WI,hypo-signal inten-sity on T2 WI.The mature abscess walls were thin and smooth, which showed homogeneously ring enhanced in 4 cases. The imma-ture abscess walls showed uneven thickness and moderately enhanced in 2 cases.Septum in the abscess could be found in 4 cases, which showed similar enhancement to the abscess walls, while the abscess cavity showed non-enhanced.Abscesses involved the sur-rounding structures in 2 cases, the involved area showed obvious hyper-signal on T2 WI fat-suppression sequence. Conclusion DWI is the best sequence in the diagnosis of prostatic abscess, the markedly high signal intensity on DWI is the characteristic sign. The enhanced MRI showed the walls and septa clearly, the extent and involvement of adjacent structures. The multi-parametric MRI is a prominent procedure in the diagnosis of prostatic abcess.

Objective To comparative the expression of suppressors of cytokine signaling 3 (SOCS3) in placental tissues between premature delivery and term delivery, and to evaluate the significance of SOCS3 in premature-delivered placental tissues.Meth ods Retrospective analysis was made on 30 patients who had spontaneous premature delivery and 30 pregnant women with normal delivery from February 2013 to October 2013 in our hospital.Reverse transcription and polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to detect the mRNA expressions of SOCS3,interferon-α(IFN-α),and interleukin-10 (IL-10).Western-blot was used to detect protein expression of SOCS3,and to analyze the balance of Th1/Th2.Results PCR detection showed that SOCS3-mRNA in the control group was significantly lower than that in the experimental group (P < 0.01).Western-blot test showed that SOCS3 protein expression in the control group was significantly lower than that in the experimental group (P < 0.01).The expression of SOCS3 gene was consistent with its protein expression.PCR detected the significant increase of IFN-α with the secretion of Th1 cytokine, significant decrease of IL-10 with secretion of Th2 cytokine (P < 0.05),and the balance deviation of Th1/Th2 toward Th1.Conclusions SOCS3 is associated with premature delivery, which mechanism might be involved in regulation of the immune balance through janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK/STAT) signaling pathways.
10. Signal transduction mechanism of macrophages polarization induced by methionine enkephalin
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2013;48(18):1550-1554
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the signal transduction mechanism of macrophages polarization induced by methionine enkephalin (MENK), which can promote tumoricidal responses in vitro. METHODS: The phenotype of macrophages were assessed by the quantitative analysis of key surface molecules on macrophages with flow cytometry (CD64, CD206). The expressions of NF-kB/STAT6 signal transduction were analyzed with Western-blotting. RESULTS: MENK(10-12 mol · L-1) could significantly decrease the expression of CD206 (P < 0.01), and at the same time, it could increase the expression of CD64 significantly (P < 0.01). MENK could increase the expression of NF-κB compared with MENK-untreated group. Furthermore MENK could inhibit the activation of STAT6 which is mediated by IL4 (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: MENK could inhibit the activation of STAT6 signaling pathway mediated by IL4. Meanwhile, MENK could increase the expression of NF-κB and be conducive to the combination of NF-kB sites with M1-type cytokines, consequently MENK could induced the conversion of macrophages from M2 to M1 phenotype effectively.
