At present, diagnostic standards and treatment guidelines for mental stress-induced myocardial ischemia have not been established.Clinical symptoms are often seen in patients, but clinical evidence of myocardial ischemia is lacking.With increasing research closely related to mental stress-induced ischemia and adverse cardiovascular outcomes, more and more attention has been paid to coronary microcirculation in stenosis or coronary microvasospasm.With mental stress as a starting point, this article analyzes the incidence and characteristics of mental stress-induced myocardial ischemia and reviews its pathological mechanisms from the perspectives of myocardial inflammatory reaction, vasoconstriction, endothelial dysfunction, sympathetic nerve conduction and genetic factors.

There is a broad and urgent need for the clinical application of anticancer nanomedicine in tumor therapy, but the complex biological barrier in solid tumors has always been the main obstacle to infiltrating nanomedicine into the tumor. The traditional design of nanomedicine based on enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect still has some limitations in tumor permeability, it is urgent to find other design theories. Therefore, this review summarizes two novel strategies, active transcytosis and immune cell-mediated tumor penetration, for promoting tumor penetration of anticancer nanomedicine.

Objective:To compare the sealing ability and marginal adaptation of three obturation techniques when used in root canal obsturation of c-shaped canals of mandibular second molars. Methods:Twenty-one extracted mandibular second molars with C-shaped canals were randomly divided into three groups. After instrumentation, the canals were filled using three different techniques: ObturaⅡ(group A), cold lateral condensation (group B) and Thermafil (group C). Then, gaps,obturated lateral canals and reticular apical triangles on the X-ray were counted. After dyeing for 7 days in the ink, dyeing lines were measured to reflect the microleakage. The percentages of gutta-percha, sealer and gaps on the root canal surface were determined by analyzing the images of 3 sections per tooth. BACKGROUND:Studies have shown that there is a certain correlation between blood lipid levels and bone mineral density in postmenopausal women, but their correlation in men is an open question, which has been less reported. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the relationship between blood lipid levels and bone mineral density in Han and Uygur men with hypertension in Urumqi of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, as wel as correlation of blood lipid levels with osteoporosis and osteopenia and difference between ethnics. METHODS: A total of 193 male patients with hypertension were categorized into Uygur (n=73) and Han (n=120) groups. Each group was subdivided into osteoporosis or osteopenia group and non-osteoporosis group. Bone mineral density and blood lipid level were analyzed and compared between groups. The correlation between osteoporosis and risk factors was analyzed using logistic regression method. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:In Uygur hypertension men with osteoporosis or osteopenia, total cholesterol level was positively correlated with the bone mineral density of the femoral neck (r=0.43,P=0.01) and Ward's area (r=0.42, P=0.01); while there were no relationships between blood lipid levels and bone mineral density in Han hypertension men. When a Logistic regression analysis was performed, only total cholesterol level was found to be associated with the presence of osteoporosis or osteopenia after adjustment for body mass index, age and ethnics (OR=1.48,P=0.03). The blood lipid level is associated with bone mineral density in Han and Uygur men with hypertension from Urumqi of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which can affect the presence of osteoporosis.

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is extensively used to increasing the in vivo and in vitro stability of liposomes. However, PEGylated liposomes also produce some negative effects with further research, such as low cellular uptake, poor "endosomal escape" of pH sensitive liposome (PSL) and accelerated blood clearance (ABC) phenomenon, and this situation is referred as the "PEG dilemma". "PEG dilemma" posed severe challenges for the targeted delivery of PEGylated liposomes-loaded anticancer drugs, effective intracellular release of PEGylated PSL-encapsulated gene and protein drugs, and repeated administration of PEGylated liposomes. Therefore, it is urgent to solve the "PEG dilemma". This review focused on the definition, classification of "PEG dilemma", and discussed several possible approaches to overcome "PEG dilemma".

Objective To observe the effect of acupoint thread-embedding at Neiguan (PC6) and Zusanli (ST36) on anxiety and sleep disorders after heroin withdrawal. Method Sixty-seven patients with heroin addiction were randomized into a Neiguan group (25 cases), a Zusanli group (22 cases) and a Neiguan plus Zusanli group (20 cases), to receive corresponding treatments once every 20 d, for 4 sessions in total. The Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) were adopted to observe the anxiety and sleep condition before and after the treatment. Result After 60 d thread-embedding treatment, the total and standard SAS scores, sleep initiation time and total PSQI score were significantly decreased in the 3 groups (P<0.05), and the sleep durations were significantly extended (P<0.05); in comparing the improvement of anxiety, Neiguan plus Zusanli group > Neiguan group >Zusanli group (P<0.05); in comparing the improvement of sleep, Neiguan plus Zusanli group was superior to both Zusanli group and Neiguan group (P<0.05), while there was no significant difference between Zusanli group and Neiguan group (P>0.05). Conclusion It's effective to use thread-embedding at Neiguan and Zusanli independently or together for anxiety and sleep disorders after heroin withdrawal, but the efficacy is more significant when the two points are used in combination, indicating the synergy of acupoints.

Colon capsule endoscopy( CCE)is a new technique for the diagnosis of colonic lesions,it has many advantages such as high safety,good tolerance,etc. . Bowel preparation is an important procedure in CCE. The quality of bowel preparation is closely related with the accuracy of CCE. This article reviewed the progress in research on bowel preparation for CCE.

Objective To understand the quality and test ability of syphilis serological tests among the laboratories of seconda-ry and higher medical institutions in Shaanxi province,in order to reinforce the quality control and the management of vene-real laboratory and improve the technical capability of them.Methods Five quality control samples,QC manual and reports were delivered,and detected for treponemal qualitative tests and non-treponemal qualitative and quantitative tests,respective-ly.Syphilis laboratories were requested to provide feedback on the test results and other information within the specified time for a final statistical analysis.Results 341 laboratories participated in this assessment,the total qualification rates was 70. 97%.The coincidence rate of non-treponemal qualitative and quantitative tests were 97.69% and 76.16%,respectively.The coincidence rate of treponemal qualitative test was 9 9.9 1%.Conclusion The syphilis serological testing capacity of laborato-ries in Shaanxi province should be improved,the coincidence rate of non-treponemal quantitative tests was low.A program of improving external quality assessment of syphilis serological testing among different laboratories should be established and the professional training and the management system should be strengthened.

Objective To investigate the mechanisms underlying neuroprotection of silent information regulation 2 homolog 3 ( SIRT3 ) against hypoxia via preconditioning.Methods PG12 cells were randomly divided into control,hypoxic preconditioning ( Hyp),Hyp with oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD) and OGD.MTT assay and DAPI staining were used to evaluate cellular viability.MitoSOX Red was used to measure the production of mitochondrial superoxide.The protein expression of SIRT3,PGC-1α and MnSOD were assessed by Western blot.Recombinant SIRT3 was also given to further investigate its roles in hypoxic preconditioning.Results The preconditioned PC12 cells had a higher survival rate.When expressed as a percentage of the control group,MTT values following 6 h OGD were around 51.0% in the OGD group but around 74.7% in the Hyp + OGD group ( F = 56,P ＜ 0.01).Mitochondrial ROS after Hyp was less than the OGD group.Both Hyp + OGD and OGD increased the expression of SIRT3,PGC-1α and MnSOD proteins,and these increases were greater after Hyp + OGD.Similarly,the application of recombinant SIRT3 to OGD also further increased the expression of these proteins.Conclusions Hypoxic preconditioning can protect PC12 cells against hypoxic injury.One possible mechanism of hypoxic preconditioning is via SIRT3 to upregulate PGC-la and,in turn,MnSOD to reduce generation of ROS.
