Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2008;6(1):46-48
Objective: To investigate the efficacy of the green tortoise exploring point technique for treating piriformis syndrome. Methods: Ninety patients were randomly allocated to a green tortoise exploring point treatment group of 30 cases, an acupuncture control group of 30 cases and a hydro-acupuncture control group of 30 cases for clinical observation. Results: The symptoms improved after treatment in all the three groups. The total efficacy rate was 100.0% in the treatment group, 76.7% in the acupuncture group and 83.3% in the hydro-acupuncture group. There were statistically significant differences between the three groups (P<0.01, P<0.05). Conclusion: The technique of green tortoise exploring point is better than conventional acupuncture and hydro-acupuncture in treating piriformis injury syndrome

The Journal of Practical Medicine 2015;(5):704-707
Objective To explore the antigen presentation of CT26.WT via intra-peritoneal injection. Methods The intra-peritoneal injection model was made via injecting cell suspensions in mice. The spleen was isolated from BALB/c mice toco-culture with CT26.WT to detect tumor-killed ability. Phenotype identification methods and CCK8 massy were used to measure the ability of antigen presentation and stimulate T lymphocyte proliferation. IHC was used to detect the expression of B7H4 in normal and tumor tissues. Results Along with the extension of intra-peritoneal injection, the surviving number of cells was increased, contrary to the apoptosis. DC cells failed in maturation and impaired in stimulating T lymphocyte proliferation. B7H4 was higher in tumor tissues. Conclusions With the extension of intra-peritoneal injection, the mature DC cells were scared in number, resulting in the impairement of antigen-presentation. Moreover, the higher B7H4 expression in tumor tissues led to the lack of second signals which may stimulate T cells. Consequently, the ability of T cells in killing tumor cells was decreased so that they escape immunosurveillance.
5.An analysis on influencing factors of elders' medical consumption behavior under the back-ground of pension combined with medical service:A case study of Nanjing
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2017;10(1):52-57
Objective: Under the background of pension combined with medical service, for the elders to reasonably, effectively and fully utilize the medical resources, it is of vital significance to establish good medical con-sumptive behavior and consumption intention, to promote healthy old age and improve elders' health and happiness to help them cultivate a fine habit in their practical life. Methods: Based on the micro-survey data of investigation in Nanjing, this paper systematically analyzed the factors influencing elders' medical consumption behavior by using the theory of planned behavior and structural equation model. Results:Different factors were classified into behavioral at-titudes, subjective norms and perceived behavior control, and significant variables were found out through behavior model as well as though measuring their relative effects. Conclusion: There is no significant casual relationship be-tween the perceived behavior control and medical consumption behavioral intention. The elders' medical consumption behavior intention is affected by various social network relationships. The belief strength, normative belief, behavioral attitudes and subject norms can affect elders' medical consumption behavior.

Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2010;26(3):567-570
Objective To assess the impact of different number of diffusion gradient directions (NDGD) of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) on dispersion degree of fractional anisotropy (FA) values and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for adult brain tissues. Methods Eight healthy volunteers underwent DTI with 7 NDGD respectively, and the associated FA maps were obtained. Four region of interest (ROI) (genu and splenial of corpus callosum, genu and posterior limb of internal capsule) were chosen in white matter of FA maps, FA values and the corresponding SNRs of the ROIs were computed and analyzed with NDGD increasing. Results FA values within all ROIs did not change remarkably with NDGD increasing. Variance of FA value within two ROIs with high gray value (genu and splenial of corpus callosum) fluctuated randomly and SNR increased slightly, while variance of FA value within the ROIs with low gray value (genu and posterior limb of internal capsule) diminished significantly with NDGD increasing. Conclusion In clinical applications of DTI, an optimum NDGD for DTI data acquisition should be selected according to the ROIs in human brain to be inspected.

Objective To investigate the effect of N-methyl-N-nitrosourea (MNU) on expressions of interphotoreceptor retinoid-binding protein (IRBP) and recoverin in rat retinal. Methods Thirty female Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into five groups, including normal control group, and MNU treatment one day, three days, seven days and 10 days groups, each group had six rats.Rats in MNU-treatment groups received a single intraperitoneal injection of 40 mg /kg MNU,while rats in the normal control group received intraperitoneal injection of saline 5 ml/kg.Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and immunofluorescence were used to detect the retinal expression of IRBP and recoverin. Results RT-PCR results indicated that retinal IRBP levels decreased after MNU injection compared with normal control (P<0.01),while recoverin levels increased (one day:P>0.05; three days:P<0.05; seven days:P<0.5; 10 days:P<0.05).Immunofluorescence assays demonstrated that normally IRBP protein is mainly in the inner and outer segments of photoreceptors. After MNU treatment,IRBP protein was detected in all retinal layers but much faint.Recoverin was expressed in the inner nuclear layer, inner plexiform layer and ganglion cell layer, and its expression was increased after MNU injection. Conclusion MNU suppresses IRBP expression and promotes recoverin expression in rat retina.
