2.Intraoperative radiotherapy for soft tissue sarcoma

Soft tissue sarcoma ( STS) , which is mostly found in extremities and retroperitoneum, is a malignant tumor of the connective tissue with the low incidence ( 1% of all malignant tumors) and various kinds of histopathological types. Intraoperative radio-therapy ( IORT) can improve the therapeutic effects of STS and to reserve the functions of the related organs, holding the apparent ad-vantage in local control rate of the tumor. IORT may cause toxicity, such as wound infections, limb ischemic necrosis and fibrosis. However, with the gradual development of IORT equipment, incidence rate of toxicity may be further reduced. This paper reviews the history, indications and advantages, clinical efficacy and adverse effect of IORT in STS.

4.Development of integrated radiology management system

Integrated radiology management system develops on the basis of radiology information system (RIS) and picture archiving & communication system(PACS). It is a working and management platform for doctors, technicians, nurses and engineers in radiology department. The system not only integrates RIS, PACS, HIS and radiology equipment, but also adds an examination workstation and a DICOM print management system. All the information can be recorded, searched and transmit by the net in quantified and detailed management, thus enabling the management more effective.
5.Expression of Skp2,c-Myc and P27~(kip1) protein in colorectal cancer tissue and their correlation

Objective: To investigate the expression of Skp2,c-Myc and P27kip1 protein,their association with clinicopathological features and the correlation between one and another.Method:Skp2,c-Myc and P27kip1 protein were examined by using immunochistochemical staining method in 20 cases of normal colorectal mucosa,20 cases of colorectal adenomatous polyp and 60 cases of colorectal cancer,and analysed the relationship with clinicopathologic features and between Skp2 with c-Myc and P27kip1 protein.Results:The positive rates of Skp2,c-Myc and P27kip1 protein in colorectal cancer were 71.67%,66.67% and 21.67% respectively.Moreover,the expression levels of Skp2 and P27kip1 protein in colorectal cancer were significantly associated with the pathologic grade,invasion deep,clinical stage and lymph node metastasis,c-Myc associated with the invasion deep,clinical stage and lymph node metastasis,but were independent of age and sex.Besides,in colorectal cancer,the expression levels of Skp2 and P27kip1 protein were inversely correlated,and the expression levels of Skp2 and c-Myc protein were positively correlated.Conclusions:The expression of Skp2,c-Myc and P27kip1 protein are associated with occurrence and development in colorectal cancer through their alteration,which is very important for assessment of malignancy degree and prognosis in colorectal cancer,and detection cancer of their expression provides theoretical basis for targetting therapy of colorectal.
6.Construction of RNA interference expression vectors of human Hsp90 alpha

Objective:To construct the expression vector pSuper.Hsp90?/pSuper for further research of the Hsp90?.Methods: In accordance with the Hsp90? sequence in gene bank,three sequences respectively targeting Hsp90? were cloned into the RNA expression vector pSuper.Results:It was confirmed by enzyme digestion,and electrophoresis that the construction of the recombinant expression vector pSuper-Hsp90?1,pSuper-Hsp90?2 and pSuper-Hsp90?3 was successfu1.pSuper-Hsp90?1 and pSuper-Hsp90?2 were successfu1 by sequencing.The expression of Hsp90? mRNA in HEK293 cells with pSuper-Hsp90?1,pSuper-Hsp90?2 and pSuper-Hsp90?3 decreased,and pSuper-Hsp90?1 notably decreased.Conclusion:The recombinant plasmid against Hsp90? RNAi can be successfully constructed in vitro,and pSuper-Hsp90?1 is the possible optimal target.
7.Clinic study of fresh amniotic membrane transplantation for ocular surface reconstruction

Objective:To explore the possibility of fresh amniotic membrane transplantation for reconstruction of ocular surface with acute burn and evaluate the effect.Method:20 cases(24 eyes)due to acute burn of ocular surface were performed fresh amniotic membrane transplantation.All patients were followed up for 12 months to 26 months,the mean follow-up was(15?2)months.Visual acuity,epithelial healing,corneal transparency,corneal neovascularization and transplanted amniotic membrane were observed.Results:After fresh amniotic membrane transplantation,ocular surface was soon stable,immune rejection and secondary infection didn't occur.In 19 of 20 cases(23 eyes) the amniotic membrane autolyzed or disappeared with epithelized corneal surface at 14 to 28 days after operation.In one case(one eye) autolyzed corneal ulcer occurred at 12 days after operation.After another medication treatment was invalid,lamellar keratoplasty was performed.In other cases with AMT visual acuity keeps CF/5cm.Conclusion:Fresh amniotic membrane transplantation can lighten corneal inflammation in acute course of burn,can prevent ocular surface from ulcer and deliquescion,can fasten the stabilization and reduce corneal neovascularization,which provide a good basis for the following keratoplasty.With regard to severe eye burn,the effect of AMT is limited.
8.Review and evaluation of vomiting animal models

Only limited species of animals with vomiting reflex are available for the vomiting animal models. From 1980s some new vomiting models have been developed, such as in ferret, which is convinced its vomiting behavior is closest to human being; Suncus murinus(house musk shrew)is the smallest mammal used in vomiting model and the most sensitive animal to motion sickness; rat, although without vomiting reflex, but consuming non-nutritive substance such as kaolin(pica) can be considered to be an index of nausea and vomiting; mink, from the same genus as ferret, can be a substitute of ferret in vomiting model. It should be noted that the sensitivity profile to different emetic stimuli is species-dependent.
9.Clinical analysis in 35 children with myoclonic epilepsy

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and curative effects of myoclonic epilepsy in children. Methods 35 cases were used to retrospectively study to analyze the medical history、clinical features and treatments.Results 7 patients(20%) had a family history of epilepsy while 11 cases(31.4%) had a history of febrile convulsion.The first onset was about at the age of 8.0?2.4. The first onset of myoclonic seizure and generalized tonic-clonic seizure would be put off and the diagnostic time would be delayed by 3.4 years.EEG induced by sleep and/or flash could raise the epileptic detectable rate.6 children had a tendency to be aggravated during the treatment.2 cases died of severe myoclonic epilepsy.28 patients(80%) were treated only by sodium vedproate and the effects were satisfying.Conclusion It is easily wrongly diagnosed and treated. Taking small dose of sodium vedproate drugs,the patients have better treatment effects.The children with severe myoclonic epilepsy have poor prognosis and high death rate.
10.Study on the association of HLA-Ⅲ components and complotype with Myasthenia gravis

Allotypes and complotypes of Bf, C4A and C4B in 42 families with myasthenia gravis (MG) were determined by means of high voltage agarose gel elect rophoresis of EDTA plasma and subsequent immunofixation, in an attempt to determine whether specific allotypes and/or complotypes were associated with this disease. From the family-data, 108 complotypes were obtained, which could be classified into 28 kinds of complotypes. We found that there are positive linkage disequilibra in S42, S31 and S40,and negative linkage disequilibra in S32 and S41. Compared of these results with those of normal controls, the frequency of S42 is significantly increased in MG(P 0.05).Furhter analysis showed that the MG associated S42 may result from that C4A4 is strongly associated with MG, while C4A4 is in linkage disequilibrium with Bf S and C4A2. Preliminary association mechanism between C4A4 and MG was analysed and discused.
