We report the case in a 72-year-old man who presented with a right inguinal mass and with a one month history that was initially interpreted as an inguinal hernia. Ultrasonography (US) and computed tomography (CT) demonstrated a right inguinal mass, including myxoid and fat component, extending from the right spermatic cord to the right inguinal subcutaneous layer. Mass excision was performed, and the diagnosis turned out to be angiomyxolipoma. Angiomyxolipoma is a rare tumor and the preoperative diagnosis of this disease is very difficult. However, angiomyxolipoma of the spermatic cord should be considered in the differential diagnosis in patients with an irreducible inguinal mass. Imaging diagnosis, such as US and CT may help to make a preoperative diagnosis.

Primary cardiac sarcomas are extremely rare. We report a case of a primary cardiac sarcoma with myxoid change, which originally presented as a benign cardiac myxoma on a two- dimensional echocardiogram. On operating, the mass was found to extend into the posterior left atrial wall, the left pulmonary vein, and the mitral valve. The patient underwent wide resection of the left atrium, a mitral valve replacement and a left pneumonectomy. The histological diagnosis was of an undifferentiated primary cardiac sarcoma. The patient had postoperative chemotherapy. The patient expired 11 months after surgery due to a recurrence of the cardiac sarcoma. Although most tumors that develop in the left atrium are benign myxomas, we should make a preoperative differential diagnosis.

The association of intramuscular myxoma and fibrous dysplasia is a rare disease known as Mazabraud's syndrome. We present a case of Mazabraud's syndrome coexisting with a uterine tumor and resembling an ovarian sex cord tumor (UTROSCT). This uterine tumor showed a high mitotic index and cytological atypia. To the best of our knowledge, the coexistence of the two different entities has not been reported in the literature.
