3.The structural study of the simple study process questionnaire
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2009;18(5):465-467
Objective To examine whether the revised two-factor Study Process Questionnaire (SPQ-R-2) accords with four-factor model or two-dimension model in Chinese college students' learning situation. Methods Questionnaire survey was used and 1029 college students from three universities participated in the investigation were assessed with the Chinese version of (SPQ-R-2). Then correlation analysis and exploratory and Confirmatory factor analysis were conducted. Results The α coefficients of SPQ-R-2 ranged from 0.539 to 0.767. The correlation coefficients of inter-dimension ranged from -0.137 to -0.200,and the correlation coefficients of intra-dimension ranged from 0.557 to 0.918. Exploratory factor analysis using 515 samples showed SPQ-R-2 Chinese vision had four factors which could explain 45.023% variance and the loading of factors varied from 0.431 to 0.761.Confirmatory factor analysis using 514 samples indicated that the four-factor model and two-dimension model were the most fit models (χ2/df<5,RMSEA<0.08,ECVI value of approximately 1,AGFI value of approximately 0.90). Conclusion The SPQ-R-2 show good reliability and constructive validity. Four-factor model and two-dimension model have been proved free in China. The SPQ-R-2 is a reliable and valid measurement for assessing the study process of the Chinese college students.
4.Pharmacoeconomic evaluation of the DPP-4 inhibitors in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(6):541-544
Pharmacoeconomic researches have confirmed that hypoglycemic treatment strategies including a dipeptidyl peptidase-Ⅳ (DPP-4) inhibitor exhibit excellent cost-effectiveness when compared with others.Direct comparisons with active glucose-lowering comparators in drug-naive patients have demonstrated that DPP-4 inhibitors exert slightly less pronounced HbA1c reduction than metformin (with the advantage of better gastrointestinal tolerability) and similar glucose-lowering effects compared with a thiazolidinedione (TZD,with the advantage of no weight gain). In metformin-treated patients, gliptins were associated with similar HbA1C reductions compared with a sulphonylurea(SU,with the advantage of no weight gain, considerably fewer hypoglycaemic episodes and no need for titration) and a TZD (with the advantage of no weight gain and better overall tolerability). In addition, excellent efficacy could also reduce the incidence of diabetic complications and increase patient's work productivity and thus lower indirect cost.
5.Quasispecies of HCV before and after Interferon Therapy and Its Dynamic Change Detected by HMA
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(06):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate the quasispecies diversity and the dynamics of quasispecies evolution in patients with chronic Hepatitis C virus(HCV) infection.METHODS Changes of HCV quasispecies before and after interferon(IFN) therapy were detected by heteroduplex mobility analysis(HMA) and by automatic sequencer.RESULTS We found that no changes in viral complexity were observed with therapy, but there were marked changes in viral divergence. The proportion of major pretreatment variants was different in HVR1 in all patients.During the treatment,HCV quasispecies changed significantly.CONCLUSIONS HMA is a simple, rapid and reliable method for detecting HCV quasispecies.Responsiveness to interferon may be related to the changes in viral divergence, but not related to the numbers of viral variants.
6.Effects of GLP-1 on the gastrointestinal system
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2010;26(6):-
Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) is an ineretin hormone released from intestinal L-cells into circulation in response to dietary nutrient intake.Based on the recently finished studies,we reviewed the impact of GLP-1 on gastric emptying, satiety, and food intake.Meanwhile, the ehnical advantage and gastrointestinal adverse effects of long-acting GLP-1 analogue liraglutide were evaluated.
7.Therapeutic Observation of Paired Needling plus Tuina for Small Breast Disease
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2016;35(8):961-963
ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of paired needling plus tuina in treating small breast disease.MethodBy following the randomized controlled method, 60 patients with small breast disease were divided into a treatment group (intervened by paired needling plus tuina) of 30 cases and a control group (intervened by treatment device for mammary glands) of 30 cases, 15 sessions as a treatment course, for 2 courses in total. The chest circumference was used to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy.Result There was no significant inter-group difference in comparing the chest circumference after the first treatment course(P>0.05), while the difference was statistically significant after 2 treatment courses(P<0.05).ConclusionPaired needling plus seven-step tuina can produce a significant stable long-standing therapeutic efficacy in treating small breast disease.
8.Enteral nutrition in pediatric Crohn's disease
International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(10):777-780
Crohn's disease (CD) is a major involvement terminal ileum and proximal colonic inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),by now it still cannot be cured. The main symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea, fever. With the progress of the disease,it can exhibit rectal bleeding, intestinal fistula intestinal obstruction, etc.Children with CD can display growth retardation and delayed puberty. The treatment of CD has been a hot spot that is being discussed by clinicians. The drug treatment has many side effects. The surgery has high recurrence rates and some complications.Enteral nutrition (EN) is a nuuitional way that we can mnsport nutriment into stomach or small intestine through oral or tube with few side effects. It can improve the poor nutrition of the patients, induction and maintenance conditions.EN has been widely used in clinical treatment of CD,especially in paediatric CD.This paper summarizes the importance of EN in treatment of CD,the main function, mechanisms, therapy and the factors of curative effect.
9.INDUCING ARSENIC-RESISTANCE CELLS WITH HUMAN BONE MARROW-DERIVED MESENCHYMAL STEM CELLS
Acta Anatomica Sinica 2002;0(06):-
Objective To obtain stable arsenic-resistance cells, the fetal bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)were exposed to low-level arsenite for 18 weeks. Methods Cells from 4 months fetal bone marrow were cultured in ?-MEM medium to obtain BMSCs.After 24h cytotoxicity test of the fetal BMSCs,we chosed 1?mol/L NaAsO_2 to be the dose under which the cell death-rate was 5%-10%.The fetal BMSCs were exposed to low-level arsenite.MTT was used to detect the survival rate and IC_(50) of arsenic-exposed cells and the control cells, which can reflect the change of arsenic tolerance.A hydride generationatomic fluorescence spectrometry method was used to detect arsenic in the arsenic-resistance cells and the control cells. In order to study the mechanism of arsenic-resistance,we also examined the intracellular GSH and GST content in the arsenic-resistance cells and the control cells. Results The fetal BMSCs were continuously exposed to 1?mol/L NaAsO_2.Parallel cells were cultured in medium without arsenic provided passage-matched control. After the fetal BMSCs were continuously exposed to low level NaAsO_2 for 18 weeks, cells exhibited dramatic resistance to acute arsenite toxicity.Compared to control cells,arsenic-resistance cells showed reduction in arsenic accumulation in cells. The GSH levels and GST activity of arsenic-resistance cells were higher than that of control cells. Conclusion Acquisition of stable arsenic-resistance in BMSCs was available by using cell culture and adding low-level arsenic. Our research established a solid basis for further study about the mechanisms of arsenic-resistance in human being.
