1.Studying influence of fruit Morinda citrifolia extract (MC) in immune index on CY induced immuno suppressive mice
Journal of Medical Research 2004;27(1):28-33
The fluid extract of MC (1 ml contains 1 gram fruit of MC) was used to evaluate its influence in immune index on immuno suppressive mice by CY. The fluid extract of MC in dose of 6 gram/kg body weight per oral route daily in 5 day consecutive course has increased relative weight of spleen and thymus, total leucocytes count, number of lymphocyte, natural killer and monocyte, rate of immune B rosette forming cells, plaque forming cells, the dermoreaction with OA antigen compare group that has been only injected CY without using any drug

3.Preliminary study on the effects of Morinda citrifolia extract on the isolated blood vessels and water-electrolyte excretion
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(11):20-24
A study on the effects of Morinda citrifolia (MC) extract on the isolated blood vessels and water-electrolyte excretion by Lipschitz method. Results: MC in both concentrations of 1.25% and 2.5% had a vascular dilating effect of the rabbit ears without change vasoconstriction effect of adrenalin with concentration of 1/10 000. By oral administration, MC in doses of 0.3g, 0.6g and 0.9g/kg body weight increased the elimination of Na(+), K(+), Cl(-), but did not influence the elimination of Ca++ and urine amount at the rest time

4.Continue to study on influences of Morinda citrifolia L. Rubiaceae fruits on experimental animals immuno-suppressed by radiation
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;347(3):16-19
Study on the extract of Morinda citrifolia (MC) fruit with the ratio of 5:1 (1g extract was prepared from 5g of dried MC fruit) in order to determine the effects of extract on radiation-induced immunosuppressive mice. The results showed that: oral administration of this extract with daily dose of 6 g/kg in 9 consecutive days (3 days before and 6 days during receiving gamma ray) has increased the relative weight of spleen and thymus, total leukocyte count, number of lymphocytes, natural killers and monocytes, rate of immune rosette forming cells, hemolytic halo, and the skin test with OA antigen, compared with the mice group that has been only received gamma ray without drug

7.Influence of Morinda citrifolia Fruit on ?-Radiation Induced Immunosuppressive Animals
Journal of Medicinal Materials - Hanoi 2004;9(1):24-28
The scientific name of Morinda citrifolia is Morinda citrifolia L., with its family Rubiaceae. Morinda citrifolia was used by the people for hypotensive drugs, medications to enhance the resistance of the body. Many studies have been proved the effects on immuno-stimulation of total root of Morinda citrifolia in vitro, in vivo and in clinic for a long time.
Fruit extract of Morinda citrifolia given to mice after being treated with 100rad x 6 days at oral daily dose of 6 gram/kg bogy weight in 9 consecutive days increased the relative weights of spleen and thymus, total leukocyte count, number of lymphocytes, natural killers and monocytes, rates of immune rosette forming and platelet forming cells and dermoreaction with OA antigen as compared with the control group

8.The effect of Morinda citrifolia fruit extracts of Viet Nam on rat hepatic enzyme metabolism
Journal of Medicinal Materials - Hanoi 2005;10(4):128-132
Study on the effects of Morinda citrifolia fruit extracts of Viet Nam on hepatic antioxidant enzymes and P450 enzyme of rat. Results: Morinda citrifolia fruit extracts of Viet Nam had effective antioxidant activities. In CCl4 treated rats received this extract, MDA’s level decreased 10%, SOD activity increased 31% compared with control poisoned rats. Besides, P450 activity os CCl4 treated rats increased by 49.5% when treated by Morinda citrifolia fruit extracts compared with CCl4 treated rats didn’t received extracts, but also decreased by 30.3% compared with control rats. In rats received Morinda citrifolia fruit extracts, P450 activity increased 24.8%

9.Study the effectiveness of Morinda Officinalis How (MOH) on the Genital Organs of Male Rats
Quan Manh Nguyen ; Huong Thi Giang Nguyen Tran
Journal of Medical Research 2008;0(1):77-84
Introduction: To date, there has not been any systematical and experimental research aimed at indicating the effects of Morinda officinalis How on the genital organs of male rats. \r\n', u"Objectives: To determine the effectiveness of Morinda officinalis How (MOl-I) on the genital organs of male rats, to describe the changes in histology of testicles, and evaluate the testosterone concentration in mature male rats' bloods when dosed with MOH.\r\n", u'Subjects and method: Mature and immature rats were divided into 3 groups: mature rats, castrated and non - castrated immature rats. The rats have a daily dosage of MOH: 20g/kg. The above groups of rats were euthanized after 10 days; their testicles, seminal vesicles, prostates and Cowper land were weighed; specimens of histology of testicles were made; testosterone concentration in the bloods of the mature rats was measured. Results were compared amongst experimental groups. \r\n', u'Results and conclusion: Compared with the control group, MOH (dosage 20g/kg) increased the weight of testicles, seminal vesicles, prostates, and Cowper lands (p < 0.05). In mature rats, MOH increased the testosterone concentration in the blood in comparison with the control group (p < 0.05). MOH did not change the histology of testicles, diameter of seminal ducts, but it did change the rate of seminal ducts having sperm compared with the control group and the testosterone injected group (p < 0.05). \r\n', u'

10.Study on multification of Morinda officinalis How from seeds
Pharmaceutical Journal 2001;305(9):18-19
Morinda is experimentally determined the favorable season, the necessary time for germinating Morinda officinalis How seed the percentage of germinated seed. The germinative rate of seed depended on the storage duration stored time after gathering. The germinative started and finished time of seed is 17 days, 14 days, respectively, with highest germinative rate (91.8%).
