4.Study on heart lesions of mitral valve disease with indicated transesophagel heart ultrasonic surgery

Research and compare diagnosis capacity heart injures in mitra valve disease by transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. The research was carried by …..and interrupt method with desciptive, analytic and comparetive steps on 56 patients at Bach mai hospital from 10/2003 to 3/2004. The result showed that: transesophageal echocardiography is an explorative method with high accuracy. Evaluation for valve injure condition and organize under valve of transesophageal heart echocardiography method is more accurate than transthoracic echocardiography.

5.Congenital Double-Orifice Mitral Valve with Mitral Valve Prolapse and Severe Mitral Regurgitation.

A 27 year-old female presented with dyspnea on exertion, and was diagnosed using transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography as congenital double-orifice mitral valve and mitral valve prolapse resulting in severe mitral regurgitation. This finding was confirmed by open heart surgery, and her mitral valve was successfully repaired with lateral commissural repair and ring annuloplasty using da Vinci system. We report this case with review of literature.

8.Surgery for obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: challenge and future.

After more than 60 years of development, with the deepening of the pathophysiological understanding of obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, the extent and resection thickness of myectomy have increased significantly. Myectomy combined with the correction of anomalies of the mitral valve apparatus has become the standard treatment of obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Only a few centers worldwide can routinely perform it due to the difficulty. Because of the advances of new drugs and interventional therapy, the development of surgical treatment faces many challenges. At the same time, generations of cardiovascular surgeons are constantly trying to promote septal myectomy, including developing devices and the surgical field, as well as improving surgical planning by advanced technology. At present, the superior long-term efficacy of septal myectomy has been confirmed. It is necessary to work together to promote the treatment of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, so as to guard people's health.

9.Evaluation of correlation between pulmonary arterial pressure and left atrial pressure in patients with mitral stenosid and comparison the results before and after operation for close valve spliting

23 patients with mitral stenosid with or without mild mitral open, ages of 23-50 (male: 10) received an operation. As the results of direct measurement of pulmonary arterial pressure and left atrial pressure in an operation have shown that the pulmonary arterial pressure was direct correlated before and after operation(r= 0.572 before operation; r=0.65 after operation).These parameters were reduced significantly and rapidly after operation when comparing with these before operation.

10.Role of pulmonary artery pressure on heart chambers in mitral valve surgical commissurotomy evaluated measured directly

From March 1995 to May 2002, at Hanoi Military Hospital N.108,on 98 patients taken surgical commissurotomy for mitral valve, pulmonary arterial pressure declined from 40,7± 12,7 mmHg before surgery to 29,6 ± 8,2mmHg after surgery, right ventricular pressure from 38,1 ± 11,1mmHg to 29,4 ± 8,4mmHg and left auricular pressure from 32,2 ± 8,6mmHg to 23,2± 7,1mmHg. This had demonstrated very good results of mitral valve commissurotomy, in l to improve hemodynamic state in pulmonary arterial pressure and heart chamber pressure
