Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging 2017;25(9):690-694
Purpose To explore the application value of dynamic contrast enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) in judging and diagnosing metastasis of lung cancer.Material and Methods Sixty-one metastatic spinal tumor patients received DCE-MRI and their images acquired after scanning were post-processed.Signal intensity-time curve, signal intensity amplification in rising period of the curve (Peak SE%),maximum ascending linear slope of the curve (Max Wash-in SE%) and descending slope of the curve (Wash-out SE%) and other semiquantitative parameters were acquired.Double chamber pharmacokinetics was adopted to analyze and obtain Ktrans, rate constant (Kep) and other quantitative parameters.CHAID method was taken to establish tree structure model to confirm optimal sorting parameter and identify optimal division. Results For the DCE-MRI scanning parameters for 61 metastatic spinal tumor patients, differences of Wash-out SE% and Kep between lung cancer and other tumor spinal metastasis were statistically significant (P<0.01),while differences of Peak SE%,Max Wash-in SE% and Ktrans between the two were not statistically significant (P>0.05).When Wash-out SE%>-660.6% and Max Wash-in SE%>98.0%,original focus of about 94.7% was possible to come from lung. When taking tree structure model set up in the study for identification,10-fold cross-validation indicated (29.5±5.8)% error rate. Conclusion Taking DCE-MRI semi-quantitative and quantitative analysis parameters for identification and diagnosis of metastasis of lung cancer is feasible. It can provide reference evidence for source identification of spinal sarcoma and clinical treatment.

Bio-based polyamides are environment-friendly polymers. The precursors of bio-based polyamides come from bio-based materials such as castor oil, glucose and animal oil. Bio-based polyamides precursors include bio-based amino acids, bio-based lactams, bio-based diprotic acid and bio-based diamines. In this paper, we discussed the route of the precursors of bio-based polyamides that come from bio-based materials. We discussed the properties of bio-based polyamides. Bio-based PA11and bio-based PA1010 are well-known bio-based polyamides; we discussed the origin materials of the precursors, the route of manufacturing bio-based PA11 and PA1010, and their modifications status. The variety, classification and commercial production of bio-based polyamides were described in details, as well as bio-based polyamides development in China.

8.FlU Zhonghua's clinical experience of Fu's subcutaneous needling for cervical spondylosis.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(8):823-826
Professor FU Zhonghua's unique clinical experience of Fu's subcutaneous needling (FSN) for cervical spondylosis (CS) is discussed in this paper, which is analyzed from the aspects of recognition of CS pathogenesis, treatment mechanism of FSN, advantage indications of FSN for CS and examples of medical cases. Professor FU introduced the theory of myofascial trigger points (MTrP) into the field of the management of CS. The site of neck MTrP should be carefully examined, and FSN needles for single use are used to sweep the affected area or subcutaneous layer of adjacent upper limb. This method can rapidly improve ischemia and hypoxia state of the relevant muscles and prompt the self-recovery of neck muscles. During FSN treatment, reperfusion approach is recommended to adopt to improve the qi and blood circulation and recovery of neck function.

Objective To enhance clinicians' intention to the importance of early diagnosis, early therapy and follow-up of type Ⅱ citrullinemia. Methods The clinical data of one adult-onset type Ⅱ citrullinemia pedigree were collected. The gene mutation type of SLC25A13 of proband and her daughter were determined by PCR and direct gene sequencing. Results The patient was a 27 years-old female, who complained of repeated dizziness, vomiting for more than 2 years and recurrent attacks of altered consciousness for about one and a half year.An abdominal ultrasonogram, liver magnetic resonance imaging and liver histology obtained by needle biopsy all determined the liver pathological changes of liver cirrhosis.Electroencephalogram showed sharp waves. The plasma amino acid showed a marked elevation of blood citrulline.Laboratory findings revealed a highly increased concentration of plasma ammonia during every episode. Mutation analysis of the SLC25A13 gene identified a homozygote of 851del4 in the patient, and heterozygote of 851del4 in her daughter. Conclusions For adults, unexplained dizziness, vomiting, but liver function still in the compensation, especially accompanied by neuropsychologic symptoms are highly suggestive of adult-onset type Ⅱ citrullinemia.SLC25A13 gene analysis contributes to the diagnosis of this disease, avoids invasive investigations and early confirmation of this disease means long-term dietary advice, genetic counseling, medical surveillance and early preparation for liver transplantation if is necessary.
