Objective To observe inhibiting effect of endostatin on subcutaneous transplant tumor of breast carcinoma, and to illuminate the therapeutic effect of endostatin in the cancer. Methods The effect of en-dostatin on MCF-7 cell proliferation was studied by MTr. The model of MCF-7 cell transplant tumor on nude mice was constructed. Endostatin was injected intradermally around the transplant tumor. Inhibition effect on the tumor was observed. Results Endostatin with the concentration of 10 μ/mL and 15 μg/mL can inhibitMCF-7 cell proliferation effectively (P < 0. 05 ). After endostatin injection, tumor weight, volume and mi-crovessel density decreased significantly(P < 0.05 ). Conclusion Endostatin can inhibit breast carcinoma proliferation through inhibiting angiogenesis and the tumor cell itself.

OBJECTIVE: To study the effectiveness of repairing nearly circumferential defect with the submental flaps after resection of laryngeal function unpreserved hypopharyngeal cancer. METHOD: All the cases were treated with the submental flaps after resection of hypopharyngeal cancer with laryngeal function unpreserved. RESULT: All 13 flaps were alive. Hypopharyngeal fistula occurred in 2 cases. All patients had normal swallowing function. The patients were followed up 6-42 months. Of 13 cases,3 had recurrence at neck Lymph node, but no local hypopharyngeal recurrence was found. Seven cases were followed up more than 3 years, and only 3 of them survived. CONCLUSION Submental flap is an ideal tissue flap submental flap in repairing of approaching circumferential defects after hypopharyngeal cancer ablation with laryngeal function unpreserved for the repairment of after approaching circumferential defects after hypopharyngeal cancer ablation with laryngeal function unpreserved, For it is close to the defect region, safe, easy-to-obtain and easy-to-survive.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the cost-effectiveness of Tanreqing injection in treating children's viral pneumonia.METHODS:In this retrospective study,sixty children with viral pneumonia were randomly assigned to receive Tanreqing Injection(treatment Group,n=30)or Ribavirin(control Group,n=30).The clinical effects and adverse drug reactions(ADRs)of the two groups were compared,and the cost-effectiveness analyses were performed.RESULTS:The effective rate was 100% in the treatment Group versus 80% in the control Group;the incidence rate of ADRs was 3.33% vs.13.33%;the cost was 297.88 vs.399.95 yuan;and the cost-effectiveness was 297.88 vs.499.94,all showing significant differences between the two groups(P

Objective:To explore the experience of teachers from Guangdong and Macao in nursing teaching cooperation, the existing problems in current teaching cooperation and suggestions for improvement.Methods:From January to April 2021, using descriptive qualitative method to conduct in-depth among eight clinical tutors from The Third Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University who teach Macao nursing students, and four teachers from Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macao using the purposive sampling method. And adopted content analysis for data analysis.Results:A total of 4 themes and 2 sub-themes were analyzed: the positive impact of cross-border teaching cooperation projects including developed the nursing business of the two places and deepened the cooperative relationship between the two places; limiting the depth and breadth of knowledge transfer because of the short cross-border learning time; the imbalance between students′ abilities and teachers′ expectations; expectations for homogeneous internships for heterogeneous groups.Conclusions:Cross-border nursing teaching cooperation is an important promoter for the development of nursing education between Guangdong and Macao, but there are still deficiencies in cooperation, and it is necessary for the two places to strengthen the construction of a sharing platform for teaching resources to promote the development of nursing education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Objective To construct and validate a predictive model for the risk of deep vein thrombosis(DVT)after lower extremity orthopedic surgery.Methods Clinical records of hospital-ized patients who underwent lower extremity orthopedic surgery in Wuxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2017 to October 2019 were collected.The univariate and multivariate analysis with the backward stepwise method were applied to screen variables and build a nomogram prediction model,and the performance of the nomogram was evaluated with respect to its discriminant capabili-ty,calibration ability,and clinical utility.Results A total of 5 773 hospitalized patients with ortho-pedic surgery of lower extremity were included in the study,with the incidence of DVT of 0.9％.Through single factor and multi-factor stepwise regression analysis,5 variables were selected from 31 variables to construct the prediction model,including age,mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentra-tion(MCHC),D-dimer,platelet distribution width(PDW),and thrombin time(TT).The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve showed that areas under the ROC curve in the training and vali-dation cohort were 0.859 and 0.857,respectively.The model had good calibration ability and clini-cal practicability.Conclusion The DVT risk prediction model constructed in this study has good dif-ferentiation ability,calibration ability and clinical practicability,which is helpful for doctors to classi-fy DVT patients after lower extremity orthopedic surgery and formulate early treatment plan.

Objective To determine the level of soluble B7-H1 (sB7-H1) in serum of patients with colorectal cancer ( CRC) , and to investigate its clinical application value in CRC .Methods 152 cases of CRC, 57 cases of benign colorectal diseases and 59 healthy subjects were enrolled .ELISA was used to determine the sB7-H1 level in serum.The levels of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) and carbohydrate antigen 72-4 (CA72-4) were determined by electrochemiluminescence. The level of carbohydrate antigen 50 (CA-50) was determined by chemiluminescence.ROC curve was used to evaluate the diagnostic efficiency of sB 7-H1 alone or combined with other tumor markers in CRC .It also analyzed the correlation between serum sB 7-H1 level and some clinicopathological characteristics including tumor location , depth of invasion , lymph node metastasis status , distant metastasis status and tumor stages.Results (1)The differences of sB7-H1 level among CRC group, colorectal benign disease group and healthy control group ( compared with each other respectively ) were statistically significant ( P<0.001 ) . Levels of CEA, CA19-9, CA72-4 and CA-50 were significantly different between CRC group and benign colorectal disease group ( P<0.05 ) , while there was no significant difference between benign colorectal disease group and healthy control group (P>0.05).(2)The diagnosis ability of sB7-H1, CEA, CA19-9,CA72-4, and CA-50 were determined by the area under curve (AUC), which was 0.730, 0.772, 0.639, 0.663 and 0.635, respectively.The combination of sB7-H1 and CEA showed the best effect , and the AUC reached 0.831.(3)There was no significant correlation between the levels of sB 7-H1 and CEA, or CA19-9, CA72-4, CA-50.(4) Immunohistochemistry result showed that the positive rate of CRC group was 52％, while that of benign disease group was 6.3％.The difference of the positive rate between two groups was statistically significant (P<0.01).And there was a significant correlation between the positive rate of sB 7-H1 level in serum and tumor tissues of CRC patients ( P<0.05 ) .( 5 ) The serum sB7-H1 level in CRC patients was related to lymph node metastasis status (P<0.05).But there was no relationship between sB7-H1 level and other clinicopathological characteristics ( including tumor location , depth of invasion , distant metastasis status and tumor stage ) (P>0.05).Conclusion Serum sB7-H1 has a high clinical application value and could serve as a new tumor marker in CRC .

Objective To analyze the content of active components in fresh Danshen Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae,Red Sage Root) from different producing areas,and review reasonably the medicinal quality of fresh Danshen.Methods The content of 5 salvianolic acids and 12 tanshinones in fresh Danshen,from 7 different producing areas,were determined by applying LTQ-Orbitrap XL high-resolution mass spectrometer.On this basis,all content were analyzed by using principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least square (PLS) analysis.Results The content of active components in fresh Danshen from the same producing area were basically the same,and difference was significant in content of active components among fresh Danshen from different producing areas.The content of salvianolic acids was the highest in fresh Danshen from Hubei,and content of tanshinone Ⅰ and tanshinone ⅡA were the highest in fresh Danshen from Sichuan and Henan.The analysis results of PCA and PLS showed that the distribution of most active components had a distinct regional specificity.Conclusion The difference is significant in quality of fresh Danshen from different producing areas,and they have a distinct regional specificity.Using fresh Danshen as quality evaluation materials,that is a useful supplement to review quality of raw medicinal materials based on dry herbs.It explored a new and more comprehensive approach for reviewing other Chinese medicinal materials.

AIM: Previous studies have suggested that big stick design (BSD) method can only be used in clinical trials of two treatments with equal proportion, which has good statistical performance and has become the recommended choice of randomized methods. This study expands BSD method, so that it can be applied to three groups, and provides more randomized methods for clinical trials. METHODS: On the basis of BSD method used in two treatments with equal proportion, the derivation conditional allocation probability of BSD method used in three treatments with equal proportion was carried out. BSD method was compared with simple randomization (SR) method, permuted block design (PBD) method and block urn design (BUD) method by Monte-Carlo simulation in balance and randomness. RESULTS: In terms of balance, PBD method was the best, followed by BUD method, BSD method, and SR method was the worst. In terms of randomness, SR method was the best, followed by BSD method, BUD method and PBD method. The comprehensive performance showed that BSD method was better than BUD method, PBD method and SR method. CONCLUSION: The expanded BSD method used in three treatments with equal proportion has good comprehensive performance, and it can be the recommended randomization method for clinical trials of three treatments with equal proportion.
