1.Correlated study for the levels of NO,NOS and PRL with neonatal h ypoxic-ischemia en cephalopathy

To explore th e role of nitric oxide(NO), nitric oxide synthetase (NOS)and prolactin (PRL) in the pathogenesis,progress and prognosis of neonatal hypoxic-ischemia encephalop athy (HIE),plasma NO, NOS and serum PRL were determined by radioimmunoassay(RIA) and colorimetry in 68 newbom infants with HIE and 30 normal control neonates, r espectively. The results showed that the levels of NO, NOS and PRL were signific antly higher in all neonates with HIE than that in the control group (P<0.05).There were in particular more higher levels of NO,NOS an d PRL in infants with either moderate or severe HIE(P<0 .01). It was noticed that the level of PRL was much higher in HIE infants with seizures than that in HIE infants without seizures. There was a positive relati onship between the levels of PRL and the duration of seizure attack( P<0.01). It is suggested that the levels of NO, NOS and PRL is ass ociated with HIE.The determination of these parameters will be valuable clinical ly for the diagnosis, judgement of prognosis and estimation of seizure attack in newborn infants with HIE.
2.Role of 17β-estradiol in regulation of MIF expression in endometrial stro-mal cells of endometriosis

AIM:To investigate the effects of 17β-estradiol on the expression of macrophage migration inhibi-tory factor ( MIF) in cultured endometrial stromal cells from endometriosis .METHODS:Immunohistochemistry was used to identify the endometrial stromal cells .The expression of MIF at mRNA and protein levels was assessed by RT-PCR and Western blotting .RESULTS:Elevated expression of MIF at mRNA and protein levels was observed in the cultured endom-etrial stromal cells treated with 17β-estradiol.In endometrial stromal cells from the women with endometriosis , the level of MIF up-regulation by 17β-estradiol was significantly higher than that in the cells from the women without endometriosis . CONCLUSION:Endometrial stromal cells from endometriosis are more sensitive to 17β-estradiol, which up-regulates the expression of MIF and contribute to the pathogenesis and progression of endometriosis .
3.Phenotypic and genotypic analysis of a fetus carrying an intermediate 22q11.2 deletion encompassing the CRKL gene.

OBJECTIVETo delineate the phenotypic characteristics of 22q11.2 deletion syndrome and the role of CRKL gene in the pathogenesis of cardiac abnormalities.
METHODSG-banded karyotyping, single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) array and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) were performed on a fetus with tetralogy of Fallot detected by ultrasound. Correlation between the genotype and phenotype was explored after precise mapping of the breakpoints on chromosome 22q11.2. SNP array was also performed on peripheral blood samples from both parents to clarify its origin.
RESULTSThe fetus showed a normal karyotype of 46,XY. SNP array performed on fetal blood sample revealed a 749 kb deletion (chr22: 20 716 876-21 465 659) at 22q11.21, which encompassed the CRKL gene but not TBX1, HIRA, COMT and MAPK1. Precise mapping of the breakpoints suggested that the deleted region has overlapped with that of central 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. SNP array analysis of the parental blood samples suggested that the 22q11.21 deletion has a de novo origin. The presence of 22q11.21 deletion in the fetus was also confirmed by FISH analysis.
CONCLUSIONCentral 22q11.21 deletion probably accounts for the cardiac abnormalities in the fetus, for which the CRKL gene should be considered as an important candidate.

4.Effects of different hand-washing methods in accompanying nursing people in Burn Ward

Objective To discuss the effects of two different hand-washing methods of accompanying nursing staff members in Burn Ward.Methods Convenience sampling method was used to select 1 50 accompanying nursing staff members of patients with burn injury from August 201 5 to December 201 5.They were divided in to experimental group (even number)and control group (odd number)according to the sequence number of hospitalization.In the control group,accompanying nursing staffs were used health essence anti-virus hand soap (I)plus seven-step hand-washing method to wash hands for 3 minutes,followed by rinsing with running water for 30s,leaving specimen after natural drying.Accompanying nursing staffs in the experimental group were used health essence mixtalol hand disinfectant plus seven-step hand-washing method to wash hands for one minute,leaving specimen after natural drying.Positive rates of bacteria were compared between the two groups before and after hand-washing.Results The positive rates of bacteria between two groups before and after hand-washing and 2 h after hand washing had no statistical significance (P >0.05). Conclusions The two sterilizing methods can both be used in accompanying nursing staffs to wash and sterilize hands.The irritation effect of health essence mixtalol hand disinfectant is significantly lower than health essence anti-virus hand soap,which is a more convenient and effective sterilizing method.
5.Clinical analysis of sIgG antibody in children with food intolerance in Qingdao

Objective:To analyze food intolerance status in children in Qingdao by detecting the serum levels of food-specific IgG (sIgG).Methods:In this cross-sectional study, a total of 4 249 children aged 0 to 14 years (all were permanent residents of Qingdao City) admitted to Women and Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Qingdao University from May 2017 to December 2020 for suspected food intolerance were selected as the study objects with the whole sampling method. According to the age, the objects were divided into 4 groups: 0-<1 year group (440 cases), 1-<3 years group (1 761 cases), 3-<6 years group (1 193 cases), and ≥6 years group (855 cases). Positive condition of serum sIgG antibodies of 14 kinds of food in the children were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Chi-square test was used to compare the positive rate of the antibodies among different foods, gender and age groups.Results:The total positive rate of food sIgG antibody in 4 249 children was 95.32% (4 050/4 249), the highest positive rate was found in eggs (81.50%) and the lowest positive rate was found in pork (1.15%). The positive rates of sIgG antibody in milk (54.98% vs 49.69%, χ2=11.627), crab (5.59% vs 3.71%, χ2=8.049) and shrimp (4.62% vs 2.75%, χ2=9.784) in boys were significantly higher than those in girls, and the positive rates of sIgG antibody in tomato (49.19% vs 45.54%, χ2=5.510), cod (8.53% vs 5.96%, χ2=10.512) and beef (2.58% vs 1.70%, χ2=3.959) in girls were significantly higher than those in boys (all P<0.05). The total positive rate of sIgG antibody in 14 foods was the lowest in 0-<1 year group (89.09%), and it was the highest in 3-<6 years group (96.98%) ( χ2=63.950, P<0.001). The highest positive rate in 0-<1 year group was found in tomato (56.36%), and it was eggs (85.29%, 88.94%, 85.50%) in all the other 3 groups. The positive rates of corn and beef decreased with age ( χ2=44.098, 20.106, P<0.001), while those of cod and mushroom increased with age ( χ2=32.315, 40.338, P<0.001). The positive rate of wheat (57.13%, χ2=42.273), tomato (57.01%, χ2=209.862), soybean (24.99%, χ2=92.580), crab (6.81%, χ2=33.201), shrimp (6.25%, χ2=47.863) were all the highest in 1-<3 years group among the 4 groups (all P<0.001), and the positive rate of chicken was the highest in 3-<6 years group (7.88%, χ2=29.875; P<0.001). Conclusions:Children in Qingdao have a high level of food intolerance, and the highest positive rate is for eggs. Milk, crab and shrimp should be focused on for boys, while tomatoes, cod and beef shoud be paid more attention to for girls. Children of different ages have different kinds of food intolerance, and their diets should be adjusted reasonably according to the characteristics.
6.The influence of glucose regulatory protein 78 on prognosis and tumor cell proliferation of hepatocellular carcinoma

Objective:To investigate the influence of glucose regulatory protein 78 (GRP78) on prognosis and tumor cell proliferation of hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods:The experimental study and retrospective cohort study were conducted. Based on hepatocellular carcinoma tissue chip, in vitro culture of Huh7 and Hep3B hepatoma cells and LO2 normal hepatic cell, and combined with immunohistochemical staining, cell transfection, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR), Western blot detection, cell proliferation experiments, cell clone formation experiments and high-throughput transcription histological analysis, the GRP78 expression in hepatoma cells was analyzed. Huh7 and Hep3B hepatoma cells being transfected with the GRP78 gene-specific shRNA lentiviruses or the negative control shRNA lentivirus were set as the GRP78 gene-specific shRNA lentivirus group and the negative control shRNA lentivirus group respectively. Observation indicators: (1) GRP78 expression in hepatocellular carcinoma tissue and adjacent tissue and its correlation with the clinicopathological characteristics of hepatocellular carcinoma patients; (2) analysis of factors affecting the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma patients; (3) effects of inhibiting of GRP78 expression on the proliferation of hepatoma cells; (4) effects of inhibiting of GRP78 expression on the gene and protein expression of p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 in hepatoma cells; (5) effects of HA15 on the proliferation and the gene and protein expression of p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 in hepatoma cells. Measurement data of the normal distribution were expressed as Mean± SD, and comparison of groups was conducted using the t test or ANOVA. Repeated measurement data were analyzed using repeated ANOVA. Count data were expressed as absolute numbers, and comparisons between groups was conducted using the chi-square test. COX proportional hazards regression model was used for univariate and multivariate analysis. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to calculate the survival time and draw survival curve, and the Log-rank test was used for generative analysis. Results:(1) GRP78 expression in hepatocellular carcinoma tissue and adjacent tissue and its correlation with the clinicopathological characteristics of hepatocellular carcinoma patients: results of immunohistochemical staining of hepatocellular carcinoma tissue chip showed that GRP78 was low-expressed in 53 cases and high-expressed in 37 cases of the 90 hepatocellular carcinoma tissues. GRP78 was low-expressed in 84 cases and high-expressed in 6 cases of the 90 paracancerous tissues. There was a significant difference in GRP78 expression between hepatocellular carcinoma tissues and paracancerous tissues ( P<0.05). (2) Analysis of factors affecting the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma patients: all 90 patients were followed up for 5 to 56 months, with a median follow-up time of 49 months. The median overall survival time and median disease progression-free survival time were 56 months and 53 months in the 53 hepatocellular carcinoma patients with GRP78 as low-expressed, versus 32 months and 19 months in the 37 hepatocellular carcinoma patients with GRP78 as high-expressed, respec-tively, showing significant differences ( χ2=17.482, 12.097, P<0.05). Results of univariate analysis showed that alanine aminotransferase (ALT), tumor pathological grading and GRP78 expression were related factors affecting the 3-year overall survival rate and disease progression-free survival rate of hepatocellular carcinoma patients ( hazard ratio=2.317, 2.039, 3.740 and 2.194, 2.177, 2.927, 95% confidence interval as 1.150?4.671, 1.201?3.462, 2.116?6.612 and 1.048?4.593, 1.093?4.336, 1.492?5.742, P<0.05). Results of multivariate analysis showed that ALT >40 U/L, tumor pathological grading as Ⅲ-Ⅳ grade and GRP78 as high-expressed were independent risk factors affecting the 3-year overall survival rate and disease progression-free survival rate of hepatocellular carcinoma patients ( hazard ratio=2.438, 2.245, 3.223 and 3.046, 2.473, 3.307, 95% confidence interval as 1.114?5.334, 1.047?4.814, 1.396?7.440 and 1.337?6.940, 1.141?5.360, 1.399?7.819, P<0.05). (3) Effects of inhibiting of GRP78 expression on the proliferation of hepatoma cells: ①results of qRT-PCR showed that the relative expression of GRP78 messenger RNA (mRNA) in Huh7, Hep3B, and LO2 cells were 3.06±0.33, 4.42±0.60 and 1.00±0.02. There were significant differences in GRP78 mRNA expression between Huh7 and LO2 cells or Hep3B and LO2 cells ( t=6.19, 5.42, P<0.05). ②Results of Western Blot detection showed that the relative expression of GRP78 protein in Huh7, Hep3B, and LO2 cells were 1.65±0.01, 1.77±0.01 and 0.99±0.02. There were significant differences in GRP78 protein expression between Huh7 and LO2 cells or Hep3B and LO2 cells ( t=75.09, 108.10, P<0.05). ③Results of cell proliferation experiments showed that the growth rates in Hu7 GRP78 gene-specific shRNA lentiviruses group cells and Hu7 negative control shRNA lentivirus group cells at 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours were 111.51%±0.35%, 144.85%±0.68%, 188.71%±3.62%, 282.51%±5.25% and 190.08%±0.58%, 285.76%±2.69%, 459.51%±4.29%, 597.88%±12.25%, showing signifi-cant differences ( Fgroups=1 360.000, Ftime=668.500, Finteraction=197.600, P<0.05). The growth rates in Hep3B GRP78 gene-specific shRNA lentiviruses group cells and Hep3B negative control shRNA lentivirus group cells at 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours were 124.47%±0.25%, 153.25%±1.25%, 195.45%±3.19%, 282.51%±10.76% and 179.69%±0.33%, 322.67%±2.46%, 486.27%±5.82%, 622.35%±12.58%, showing significant differences ( Fgroups=1 222.000, Ftime=706.200, Finteraction=179.600, P<0.05). ④Results of the cell clone formation experiments showed that the number of cells in Hu7 GRP78 gene-specific shRNA lentiviruses group cells and Hu7 negative control shRNA lentivirus group cells were 125±3 and 435±17, showing a significant difference ( t=17.86, P<0.05). The number of cells in Hep3B GRP78 gene-specific shRNA lentiviruses group cells and Hep3B negative control shRNA lentivirus group cells were 138±3 and 388±7, showing a significant difference ( t=32.29, P<0.05). (4) Effects of inhibiting of GRP78 expression on the gene and protein expression of p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 in hepatoma cells: results of high-throughput transcription histological analysis showed that the relative expression rates of p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 were 19%, 334%, 398%, 41% and 49% in the Hu7 GRP78 gene-specific shRNA lentiviruses group cells comparing to the Hu7 negative control shRNA lentivirus group cells. ①Results of qRT-PCR showed that the relative expression of GRP78, p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 mRNA were 0.17±0.03, 4.05±0.71, 3.73±0.47, 0.49±0.09, 0.48±0.06, 0.36±0.07 in the Hu7 GRP78 gene-specific shRNA lentiviruses group cells, versus 1.00±0.05, 1.03±0.17, 1.00±0.07, 1.01±0.09, 1.02±0.14, 1.00±0.03 in the Hu7 negative control shRNA lentivirus group cells, showing significant differences ( t=14.62, 4.17, 5.72, 4.26, 3.49, 8.82, P<0.05). The relative expression of GRP78, p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 protein were 0.61±0.03, 1.98±0.16, 2.55±0.12, 0.85±0.03, 0.78±0.01, 0.54±0.02 in Hep3B GRP78 gene-specific shRNA lentiviruses group cells, versus 1.00±0.03, 1.05±0.02, 1.05±0.01, 1.05±0.02, 1.00±0.02, 1.00±0.02 in Hep3B negative control shRNA lentivirus group cells, showing significant differences ( t=10.97, 13.40, 12.35, 11.06, 12.45, 13.78, P<0.05). (5) Effects of HA15 on the proliferation and the gene and protein expression of p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 in hepatoma cells: results of 50% inhibiting concentration (IC50) test of HA15 showed that the IC50 of HA15 for Huh7 and Hep3B cells at 48 hours were 9.98 μmol/L and 13.70 μmol/L. ①Huh7 and Hep3B cells were treated with 9.98 μmol/L and 13.70 μmol/L of HA15. Results of cell proliferation experiments showed that the growth rates at 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours were 112.81%±0.27%, 154.71%±1.45%, 237.66%±16.77%, 294.40%±14.92% in the HA15-Huh7 cells, versus 133.67%±0.49%, 352.93%±2.31%, 557.17%±4.89%, 662.60%±13.31% in the normal Huh7 cells, showing a significant difference ( Fgroups=766.800, Ftime=518.200, Finteraction=133.300, P<0.05). The growth rates at 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours were 121.27%±2.32%, 203.85%±3.18%, 240.80%±3.02%, 286.50%±7.10% in the HA15-Hep3B cells, versus 239.14%±1.02%, 362.00%±5.44%, 539.37%±10.80%, 694.79%±17.13% in the normal Hep3B cells, showing a signifi-cant difference ( Fgroups=594.300, Ftime=317.900, Finteraction=78.600, P<0.05). ②Results of qRT-PCR showed that the relative expression of GRP78, p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 mRNA were 0.27±0.05, 3.64±0.28, 4.13±0.41, 0.51±0.07, 0.39±0.03, 0.17±0.02 in the HA15-Huh7 cells, versus 1.02±0.14, 1.00±0.03, 1.00±0.05, 1.01±0.08, 1.01±0.09, 1.03±0.17 in the normal Huh7 cells, showing significant differences ( t=5.00, 9.25, 7.63, 4.73, 6.82, 5.01, P<0.05). The relative expression of GRP78, p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 mRNA were 0.28±0.03, 3.49±0.78, 4.31±0.53, 0.38±0.05, 0.36±0.04, 0.24±0.03 in the HA15-Hep3B cells, versus 1.01±0.11, 1.03±0.18, 1.01±0.08, 1.00±0.06, 1.02±0.15, 1.00±0.06 in the normal Hep3B cells, showing significant differences ( t=6.26, 3.08, 6.21, 7.97, 4.26, 11.08, P<0.05). ③Results of Western Blot detection showed that the relative expression of GRP78, p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 protein were 0.52±0.05, 1.94±0.08, 1.58±0.02, 0.89±0.00, 0.86±0.02, 0.74±0.01 in the HA15-Huh7 cells, versus 1.02±0.03, 1.00±0.03, 1.02±0.02, 1.04±0.03, 1.00±0.01, 1.01±0.02 in the normal Huh7 cells, showing significant differences ( t=11.54, 10.28, 11.03, 12.81, 13.67, 10.09, P<0.05). The relative expression of GRP78, p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 protein were 0.57±0.02, 1.67±0.04, 1.41±0.04, 0.82±0.03, 0.70±0.02, 0.74±0.01 in the HA15-Hep3B cells, versus 1.03±0.01, 0.98±0.03, 1.00±0.03, 1.03±0.03, 1.01±0.01, 1.04±0.01 in the normal Huh7 cells, showing significant differences ( t=10.81, 11.54, 12.26, 13.62, 14.23, 10.17, P<0.05). Conclusions:High expression of GRP78 is an independent risk factor affecting the overall survival and disease progression-free survival of hepatocellular carcinoma patients. Inhibiting of GRP78 expression can reduce cell proliferation and the expression of p53, p21, CDK2, CDK4, and CDK6 mRNA and proteins in hepatoma cells.
7.Analysis of antinuclear antibody in 9 528 pregnant women during early pregnancy in a hospital in Qingdao City

To analyze the positivity rate and titer of antinuclear antibody (ANA), as well as nuclear pattern and target antigen of ANA in healthy pregnant women during early pregnancy in Qingdao area. A prospective cohort study design was used to include a total of 9 528 healthy pregnant women registered at the Women and Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Qingdao University from March 2023 to June 2024.Indirect immunofluorescence assay (IIF) was used to detect ANA, its titer and cell staining pattern. Fifteen specific antibodies were tested using the magnetic bar code immunofluorescent luminescence method. Logistic regression model was used to analyze the risk factors of pregnancy with autoimmune disease(AID). The results showed that among 9 528 pregnant women in early pregnancy, 1 346 cases (14.1%) were positive of ANA, including 1 011 cases with a titer of 1∶100 (10.6%), 236 cases (2.5%) with a titer of 1∶320, and 99 cases (1.0%) were detected at a titer >1∶320. Among the 1 346 ANA-positive pregnant women, nuclear granular type accounted for the highest proportion (483 cases, 35.9%), followed by speckled type (347 cases, 25.8%) and cytoplasmic type (176 cases, 13.1%).Then, pregnant women with ANA titers ≥1∶100 were detected 15 specific antibodies.Anti-SSA was tested in 121 cases accounted for the majority, followed by 110 cases with anti-Ro-52, 56 cases with anti-SSB, 51 cases with anti-mitochondrial M2 subtype antibodies and 37 cases with anti-centromere B. In conclusion,in healthy pregnant women in Qingdao area, ANA positivity rate was 14.1%, and the titer of ANA was mainly at 1∶100.The predominant nuclear patterns were nuclear granular and speckled types.The specific autoantibodies were mainly anti-SSA antibodies and anti-Ro-52 antibodies.The detection of ANA and specific autoantibodies is of great significance for early prediction, diagnosis, and intervention of autoimmune diseases during pregnancy.

Objective:To develop a color-moment based model for frozen-section diagnosis of thyroid lesions, and to evaluate the model′s value in the frozen-section diagnosis of thyroid cancer.Methods:In this study, 550 frozen thyroid pathological slides, including malignant and non-malignant cases, were collected from Taizhou Central Hospital (Taizhou University Hospital), China, between June 2018 and January 2020. The 550 digitalized frozen-section slides of thyroid were divided into training set (190 slides), validation set (48 slides), test set A (60 slides) and test set B (252 slides). The tumor regions on the slides of malignant cases in the training and validation sets were labeled by pathologists. The labeling information was then used to train the thyroid frozen-section diagnosis models based on the voting method and those based on the color moment. Finally, the performance of two pathological slide diagnosis models was evaluated using the test set A and test set B, respectively.Result:The classification accuracy of the thyroid frozen-section diagnosis model based on the voting method was 90.0% and 83.7%, using test sets A and B, respectively, while that based on color moments was 91.6% and 90.9%, respectively. For actual frozen-section diagnosis of thyroid cancer, the model developed in this study had higher accuracy and stability.Conclusion:This study proposes a color-moment based frozen-section diagnosis model, which is more accurate than other classification models for frozen-section diagnoses of thyroid cancer.
9.Analysis of antinuclear antibody in 9 528 pregnant women during early pregnancy in a hospital in Qingdao City

To analyze the positivity rate and titer of antinuclear antibody (ANA), as well as nuclear pattern and target antigen of ANA in healthy pregnant women during early pregnancy in Qingdao area. A prospective cohort study design was used to include a total of 9 528 healthy pregnant women registered at the Women and Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Qingdao University from March 2023 to June 2024.Indirect immunofluorescence assay (IIF) was used to detect ANA, its titer and cell staining pattern. Fifteen specific antibodies were tested using the magnetic bar code immunofluorescent luminescence method. Logistic regression model was used to analyze the risk factors of pregnancy with autoimmune disease(AID). The results showed that among 9 528 pregnant women in early pregnancy, 1 346 cases (14.1%) were positive of ANA, including 1 011 cases with a titer of 1∶100 (10.6%), 236 cases (2.5%) with a titer of 1∶320, and 99 cases (1.0%) were detected at a titer >1∶320. Among the 1 346 ANA-positive pregnant women, nuclear granular type accounted for the highest proportion (483 cases, 35.9%), followed by speckled type (347 cases, 25.8%) and cytoplasmic type (176 cases, 13.1%).Then, pregnant women with ANA titers ≥1∶100 were detected 15 specific antibodies.Anti-SSA was tested in 121 cases accounted for the majority, followed by 110 cases with anti-Ro-52, 56 cases with anti-SSB, 51 cases with anti-mitochondrial M2 subtype antibodies and 37 cases with anti-centromere B. In conclusion,in healthy pregnant women in Qingdao area, ANA positivity rate was 14.1%, and the titer of ANA was mainly at 1∶100.The predominant nuclear patterns were nuclear granular and speckled types.The specific autoantibodies were mainly anti-SSA antibodies and anti-Ro-52 antibodies.The detection of ANA and specific autoantibodies is of great significance for early prediction, diagnosis, and intervention of autoimmune diseases during pregnancy.
10.Clinical analysis of plastic bronchitis caused by adenoviral pneumonia in 9 children

Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics of plastic bronchitis(PB) caused by adenoviral pneumonia.Methods:The clinical data of 9 children diagnosed with PB caused by adenoviral pneumonia in the Xiamen Children′s Hospital from March to June 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.Results:Among the 9 children(3 boys and 6 girls), 6 patients were under 2 years old.All patients had fever, cough and dyspnea, with the duration of 6-15 days.Laboratory tests showed that procalcitonin(PCT) and increased in 7 children, D-dimer, fibrinogen degraded product (FDP) were increased in 6 children, and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) was increased in 8 children.Chest imaging examination showed atelectasis with pulmonary consolidation in 9 children, including 4 cases of left lower lobe consolidation, 2 cases of right lower lobe consolidation, 1 case of right upper lung consolidation, and 2 cases of consolidation of multiple lungs in the lower lobe.Seven cases had pleural effusion.By fiberoptic bronchoscopy, the bronchial plastics was removed from the left lower lobe in 5 patients, from the right lower lobe in 3 patients, and from the right upper lobe in 1 patient on the 6th to 20 th day of the disease.Eight patients were discharged after clinical cure.One patient deve-loped multiple organ failure, and discharged from the hospital after the family members gave up rescue.The death was reported by the telephone follow-up death. Conclusions:PB is considered when patients with adenovirus pneumonia have persistent high fever, shortness of breath, dyspnea, pulmonary consolidation/lung atelectasis, increased PCT and LDH, hypercoagulability of the blood, and pleural effusion.Fiberoptic bronchoscopy plays an important role in confirming the diagnosis and improving the prognosis.
