The reaction conditions, the spectrophotometric characteristics, and the analytical properties of the ion-association complex of 〔I2Br〕- with the basic triarylmethane dye such as ethyl violet (EV), crystal violet (CV), and victoria blue 4R (VB4R) in the presence of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) were studied. The results showed that the color of the solutions would change obviously when the above ion-association complexes were formed in dilute phosphoric acid solution. The molar absorptivities (ε) of different systems are between 2.6×104 and 6.2×104 L*mol-1*cm-1. The sensitivity of the ethyl violet system is the highest among them. Beer′s law is obeyed in the range of 0～1.6　mg/L　I-　for ethyl violet system, 0～1.4　mg/L for crystal violet system, and 0～0.8 mg/L I- for victoria blue 4R system, respectively. The method can be applied to direct determination of iodide in aqueous solution. The method has good selectivity. A large amounts of halide ions, some other inorganic acid group ions and amount of common metal ions don′t interfere the determination of I-. This method was used to determine I- in kelp, laver and soy bean with satisfactory results

BACKGROUND:Mesenchymal stem cel s are the seed cel s for tendon tissue engineering which can be obtained in large quantities, but how to induce in vitro is a key technology.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of platelet-rich plasma on the proliferation and col agen production of in vitro cultured mesenchymal stem cel s.
METHODS:The rabbit mesenchymal stem cel s were separated ad cultured. The high-dose platelet-rich plasma group, middle-dose platelet-rich plasma group and low-dose platelet-rich plasma group were set to induce the mesenchymal stem cel s, and the blank control group was set as control.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The proliferation of mesenchymal stem cel s in the high-dose platelet-rich plasma group, middle-dose platelet-rich plasma group and low-dose platelet-rich plasma group was high, and in rapid growth with big increase amplitude, and there was no significant difference in the proliferation when compared with the blank control group (P<0.05). The effect was positively correlated with the culture time, and after cultured for a certain time, the effect was in dose-dependent manner, as higher dose platelet-rich plasma had more significant effect on the proliferation of the cel s. The results indicate that platelet-rich plasma can significantly promote the synthesis of col agen type Ⅰ and Ⅲ of mesenchymal stem cel s, the higher the dose, the more significant the effect on the col agen.

Objective To discuss the clinical application of percutaneous transhepatic removal of gall-stone technique in treating common bile duct (CBD) stones.Methods Between January 2013 and January 2015,a total of 25 patients with CBD stones underwent lithotomy procedure via percutaneous transhepatic route.First,under ultrasound or fluoroscopy guidance percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography (PTC) was performed with subsequent placement of an 8 F rsheath;then,a balloon of 8-12 mm diameter was employed to dilate the papilla;mechanical lithotripsy was adopted when the stone size exceeded 12 mm;finally,through guide-wire exchange technique the stone-retrieval balloon was used to push the stones into the intestinal tract through the sphincter of duodenal papilla.Results The reasons to receive percutaneous transhepatic removal of gall-stone technique in the 25 patients included previous gastrointestinal surgery (n=18),endoscopic treatment failure (n=3),unwilling to receive endoscopic treatment (n=3),and other reasons (n=1).Successful removal of stones was accomplished in all 25 patients.After the treatment,complications occurred in 3 patients (12％),including fever (n=2) and liver abscess formation (n=1).The patients were followed up for 0.5-3 years;two patients died of tumor recurrence and metastasis,and one patient developed recurrence of common bile duct stones.No reflux cholangitis occurred.Conclusion For the treatment of CBD stones,percutaneous transhepatic removal of gall-stone technique carries higher technical success rate with lower incidence of complications,therefore,this technique can be used for the patients who are not suitable for endoscopic treatment or in whom endoscopic treatment failed.

Penicillium decumbens T. is an important filamentous fungus for the production of cellulases to effectively degrade lignocellulose for second generation biofuel production. In order to enhance the capability of Penicillium decumbens to produce cellulases, we constructed a creB (a deubiquitinating enzyme encoding gene) deletion cassette, and generated a creB knockout strain with homologous double crossover recombination. This mutation resulted in a detectable decrease of carbon catabolite repression (CCR) effect. The filter paper activity, endoglucanase activity, xylanase activity and exoglucanase activity of the deltacreB strain increased by 1.8, 1.71, 2.06 and 2.04 fold, respectively, when comparing with the parent strain Ku-39. A 2.68 fold increase of extracellular protein concentration was also observed. These results suggest that the deletion of creB results in CCR derepression. These data also suggest that CREB influences cellulase production of Penicillium decumbens. In generation, this study provides information that can be helpful for constructing cellulase hyper-producing strain.

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a chronic disease but causes the highest mortality and morbidity among the cardiovascular diseases worldwide. Correlations between CAD and gut microbiota have been observed. This suggests that the gut microbiota could become a vital diagnostic marker of CAD, and restoring the gut habitat may become a promising strategy for CAD therapy. The elevated level of trimethylamine-N-oxide (TMAO), a gut microbiota-derived metabolite, was found to be associated with the increased risk of cardiovascular disease and the all-cause mortality. Preclinical studies have shown that it has pro-arteriosclerosis properties. It is likely that regulating the production of TMAO by gut microbiota may become a promising strategy for anti-atherosclerosis therapy. This review summarizes the clinical and preclinical researches on the intervention of CAD by regulating the gut microbiota and the microbiota-derived metabolite TMAO, with the aim to provide new target for the therapy of CAD.
