The Journal of Practical Medicine 2014;(21):3444-3446
Objective To analyze the influential factors of healthy children′s heart rate turbulence (HRT). Methods One hundred and six healthy children with ventricular premature beat (VPB) were selected in this study and the correlation among HTR parameters as turbulence onset (TO) and turbulence lope (TS) and age, gender, basic heart rate, the number of VPBs were analyzed. Results It was observed that among three age groups, TO decreased with the age, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05), but there was no significant gender difference (all P > 0.05). TS increased with the age, and intergroup difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). In the group of children aged over seven, significantly higher TS was observed among boys (P < 0.05), while in the group of children aged 1 to 3 and the group aged 3 to 7 , there was no significant gender difference (P > 0.05). TO and TS decreased with the decline of heart rate (r = 0.494, P < 0.00; r = -0.569,P < 0.00 respectively), and the correlation between TO and HR, TS and HR was found. The number of VPBs had no significant correlation with TO or TS (r = 0.104,P = 0.290; r = 0.122,P =0.212). Conclusions The results demonstrate that influenced by age and basic heart rate, healthy children′s HRT increases with the age and the decline of heart rate. Therefore, the reference index of children′s HRT should differ from that of adults, which requires further evaluation.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2012;26(21):961-964
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the metastatic rule and management methods of occult lymphatic metastasis in patients with supraglottic cancer.
METHOD:
The results of 139 cN0 patients with supraglottic cancer treated by neck dissection (ND) were reviewed retrospectively. Each lymph node was studied pathologically in order to define the level of the lymph node metastasis.
RESULT:
Of the 139 patients with supraglottic cancer and cN0 neck, 113 cases received ipsilateral ND and 26 cases with bilateral ND. Thirty-six (25.9%) of 139 patients were found to have occult lymphatic metastasis on pathological examination, 6 patients without metastasis in dissected side at pathologic examination showed metastasis in the contralateral undissected neck later. Therefore the total occult metastasis rate was 30.2% (42 of 139). The unilateral and bilateral neck occult metastases were determined in 37 cases (26.6%) and 5 cases (3.6%) respectively. A total of 3594 lymph nodes were harvested in 165 specimens, with 83 positive nodes. The distributions of the 83 positive nodes were as follows: level I 1.2% (1 node), level II 78.3% (65 nodes), level III 19.3% (16 nodes), level IV 1.2% (1 node), level V (0 node). The 3-year regional recurrence rate was 5.0% (7/139). The 5-year survival rate was 76.3% (106/139). Patients with positive neck metastasis had higher regional recurrence rates (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSION
Occult metastasis rate of supraglottic cancer is as high as 30.2%, the selective lateral neck dissection of level II, III is recommended.

Objective To understand the related factors on previous HIV testing behavior among MSM who visit gay bathroom in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. Methods Through time-location sampling (TLS) survey, men who had oral sex or anal sex with men in past 6 months were interviewed in the gay bathroom in Hangzhou from October 2015 to January 2016. Software SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the HIV testing acceptance, sexual behaviors and condom usage of MSM during past 6 months, and χ2 test and logistic regression model were used for univariate and multivariate analyses. Results Our study planned to recruit 480 gay bathroom MSM, due to the unwilling or other factors, 465 MSM were surveyed. A total of 47.3%(220/465) gay bathroom MSM received HIV testing during past 6 months. Multivariate analysis indicated that being married (OR=0.35, 95%CI:0.18-0.69), peer education (OR=4.31, 95%CI:1.32-14.09), homosexual behavior during past 6 months (OR=1.85, 95%CI: 1.08-3.14), extramarital heterosexual behavior during past 6 months (OR=4.12, 95%CI: 2.45-6.91) might be positive factors related with HIV testing acceptation in MSM. Conclusion Being married, homosexual behavior during past 6 months, extramarital heterosexual behavior, partner education might be the positive factors related with acceptance of HIV testing among gay bathroom MSM. Therefore, peer education needs to be strengthened. HIV testing after high risk sexual behavior needs to be promoted in MSM.

Journal of Breast Cancer 2019;22(2):219-236
PURPOSE: Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed malignancy in women worldwide. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are thought to serve as potential biomarkers in various cancers, including breast cancer. METHODS: We evaluated the miRNA expression profiles in 1,083 breast cancer samples and 104 normal breast tissues from The Cancer Genome Atlas database. We used the edgeR package of R software to analyze the differentially expressed miRNAs in normal and cancer tissues, and screened survival-related miRNAs by Kaplan-Meier analysis. A receiver operating characteristic curve was generated to evaluate the accuracy of these miRNAs as molecular markers for breast cancer diagnosis. Furthermore, the functional role of these miRNAs was verified using cell experiments. Targets of candidate miRNAs were predicted using 9 online databases, and Gene Ontology (GO) functional annotation and pathway analyses were conducted using Database for Annotation, Visualization and Integrated Discovery online tool. RESULTS: A total of 68 miRNAs showed significantly different expression patterns between the groups (p < 0.001), and 13 of these miRNAs were significantly associated with poor survival (p < 0.05). Three miRNAs with high specificity and sensitivity, namely, miR-148b-3p, miR-190b, and miR-429, were selected. In vitro experiments showed that the overexpression of these 3 miRNAs significantly promoted the proliferation and migration of MDA-MB-468 and T47D cells and reduced the apoptosis of T47D cells. GO and pathway enrichment analyses revealed that the targets of these dysregulated miRNAs were involved in many critical cancer-related biological processes and pathways. CONCLUSION: The miR-148b-3p, miR-190b, and miR-429 may serve as potential diagnostic and prognostic markers for breast cancer. This study demonstrated the roles of these 3 miRNAs in the initiation and progression of breast cancer.
