Objective To investigate the protective effect of permissive hypercapnia in infants undergoing one-lung ventilation(OLV). Methods A total of 64 infants were randomly divided into Group N(normocapnia group,n=32)and Group H(hypercapnia group,n=32).Arterial blood gas samples were collected at four differ-ent time points:10 minutes after intubation(T1),30 and 60 minutes after artificial pneumothorax(T2,T3),and 30 minutes after being sent to post anesthesia care unit(T4)while vital signs(HR,MAP,SpO2and temperature) and ventilation parameters(Ppeak,Vt,PEEP,RR,MVV,and FiO2)were recorded simultaneously;OI was calcu-lated by corresponding equation. Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF)was collected before and after surgery for the measurement of RAGE. Results Compared with those at T1,MAP and PaO2were significantly lower but Ppeak was obviously higher in group N,while HR,Ppeakas well as PaCO2were increased(P<0.05)and Vt,MVV,pH, PaO2as well as lactic acid were decreased in group H(P < 0.05)at T2and T3. Compared with those in group N, MAP,HR as well as PaCO2were higher while Ppeak,Vt,MVV,pH,and lactic acid were lower in group H at T2 and T3(P<0.05).There was a significant increase of RAGE in both groups after surgery and it was much higher in group N when compared with that in group H after surgery(P<0.05). Conclusion PHC not only has advantages in improving tissue oxygenation, but also has the potential of lung protection for infants undergoing OLV.
8.The relationship between gut microbiota and Parkinson's disease
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2018;37(10):1164-1168
Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder. Its clinical symptoms and evidence of neuropathology indicate that PD may start from the gut.Besides, there are a large amount of microbiota colonies in the gut, whose dysbiosis may play an important role in the onset and development of PD.This article focuses on the relationship between PD and the gut microbiota based on reviewing literatures on the correlation between the gut microbiota and PD published in the last ten years, and on exploring their underlying relationship. The characteristic changes in dysbiosis of the gut microbiota in PD patients are not clearly known.Based on previous studies, mechanism of dysbiosis of gut microbiota in PD may include inflammation, disruption of the barriers,a-Syn and so on.They may synergetically interact each other rather than acting as independent factors.Among them, the molecular simulation may play an important role in the relationship between gut microbiota and PD.More studies on the mechanism of the relationship between the gut microbiota and PD are needed to improve the early diagnosis and treatment of PD.

According to the literature review, no cyst of the hip ligamentum teres has been reported. In this study, a 50?year?old female patient was admitted to the hospital because of sprained left hip pain with movement restriction for 15 months. The unilateral hip joint MRI showed cyst of the hip ligamentum teres, which was diagnosed as left hip joint cyst in the outpatient de?partment. Thus, the patient was admitted to the hospital. Physical examination showed that the left hip joint movement was slightly restricted with positive FADDIR test and FABER test. Arthroscopic surgical examination revealed a 1.5 cm×1.0 cm cyst at the lo?cation of the round ligament which was then cleared with a planer knife and radiofrequency. The treatment results were satisfacto?ry. The present study reviewed the literature about anatomical and biomechanical physicochemical properties of the ligamentum teres. The function of the ligamentum teres is important for the hip joint. In diagnosis of hip disease, unilateral hip MRI plays an important role in accurate diagnosis of such diseases. The hip arthroscopy provide a minimal invasive technique in treating cyst of the hip ligamentum teres. With the application of the hip arthroscopy, it will undoubtedly improve the diagnosis and treatment of hip diseases.

Postoperative thyroid scar not only causes itching, pain, and pulling, but also seriously affects the patient’s aesthetics, so it is important to study the prevention and treatment of postoperative thyroid scar. In the past 20 years, clinicians have made many innovative researches to alleviate postoperative thyroid scar growth, and the following progresses have been made: firstly, thyroid surgery methods and surgical accesses have been improved to a certain extent, resulting in more concealed and less traumatic accesses; secondly, the use of lasers and silicone and other drugs has significantly improved the scar treatment effect; thirdly, the concept of "cosmetic" is gradually gaining popularity, and related technical means are used throughout the treatment of postoperative scarring of the thyroid gland, and multiple treatment modalities are used "early" and "in combination" to "prevent" scar growth after surgery. The use of multiple treatment modalities to prevent scar growth in the early postoperative period has achieved twice the result with half the effort.
