Objective To prove the clinical effect of portable auto-haemostat machine on body's limbs. Methods Portable auto-haemostat machine was applied to the indicated patients in their clinical aid treatments course, i.e. the rapid hemostasis on limbs. Results The hemostasis was rapid and accurate with hemostatic pressure in the range from 190 to 230 mmHg. The excellent effect guarantees the diagnosis, observation, bandaging and secure transmission of victims until they were sent to the operation room. Conclusion It is reliable to use portable auto-haemostat machine on body's limbs in clinic works.

Objective To discuss the effect of hierarchical intervention on hypertension prevention and control in rural area,so as to improve awareness rate and health promoting behaviors about the hypertension disease among middle-aged and the elderly in rural area. Methods A gradually deepening intervention scheme was implemented hierarchically of levels of entire population, prehypertension group and hypertension group from March 2014 to February 2016. Results After the intervention, score of health-promoting lifestyle in the research group was(132.86±16.70),significantly higher than that in the control group(113.72±20.86),and also within the group, higher than before the intervention (108.47±16.161)(P < 0.01). Value of blood pressure, regular behavior of measurement and body mass index in the research group were all better than those in the control group and before the intervention (P < 0.05). Awareness rate of knowledge related to hypertension in the research group was significantly higher than those in the control group and before the intervention(P<0.01). Conclusions The gradually deepening hierarchical health education intervention among middle-aged and elderly people in rural communities can prevent and control hypertension by improving awareness rate of the disease and help developing health promoting behaviors.

Objective To explore the effects of applied course reform of emergency critical care nursing on self-directed learning ability of nursing students. Methods From September 2016 to January 2017, a total of 180 nursing undergraduates from Xi'an Peihua University of grade 2014 were selected as the research subjects. 86 students from 3 classes were randomly recruited into control group, and 94 students from other 3 classes to observation group. Control group was treated with traditional teaching methods, while experimental group adopted the applied course reform of emergency critical nursing. Nursing students' self-directed learning ability was compared between the two groups before and after the course. Results After the whole course, the total score of students' self-directed learning, learning motivation, planning and implementation, self management and interpersonal communication dimensions were(78.31±8.15), (23.94±3.06),(23.09±2.77), (15.51±2.13) and (15.78±2.04) , which were all higher than (73.37±9.91), (22.79±3.61), (21.72±3.38), (14.28±2.38), (14.58±2.59) in the control group respectively. The differences were statistically significant(t=-3.611, -2.301, -2.970, -3.661, -3.458; P< 0.05). The final exam score of the experimental group was (84.57±8.21), which was higher than that in the control group (81.40±8.07), with a statistically significant difference (t=2.616, P=0.007).Conclusions Applied course reform of emergency critical nursing care can enhance nursing undergraduates' self-directed learning ability.

Objective? To explore the professional training will and needs of caregivers for the elderly in Shaanxi province and to provide reference for completing the training program for caregivers for the elderly, clarifying the content of training and making relevant policies. Methods? Totally 1 390 caregivers for the elderly from 143 nursing homes in Shaanxi province were selected by convenient sampling from January to September 2017 and investigated with the self-made questionnaire for their will and needs of professional training. χ2 test was used to identify the influencing factors to the caregivers' will of professional training, and the statistically significant variables were included into the Logistic regression model to analyze the influencing factors to professional training of caregivers for the elderly in Shaanxi province. Results?(1) Professional training will:1 085 caregivers (78.1%) were willing to participate in professional training, while 305 caregivers (21.9%) were not willing to do so. Logistic regression analysis showed that educational background, marital status, needs for professional knowledge, certificate of caregivers, effects of previous training and economic income were the influencing factors to the professional training will of caregivers for the elderly in Shaanxi province (P<0.05). (2) Professional training needs: the form of training was mainly short-term training (48.4%), and the cost of training was mostly free of charge or borne by their institutions (68.7%). Their desired form of training was graded training (64.3%), and the content of training focused primarily on daily life care (83.7%) and basic care (82.2%). Conclusions? The proportion of caregivers for the elderly in Shaanxi province who are willing to receive professional training is high. Targeted graded professional training should be provided according to different situations of caregivers so as to improve the service of care for the elderly. The government or nursing homes are advised to provide part-time and short-term professional training which focuses primarily on daily life care and psychological care, complete training plans and meet social needs, without increasing economic burden on caregivers for the elderly.

Objective To investigate the reasonable allocation of geriatric nursing staff resource in socialized aged organization. Methods We investigated whether the specialized nursing was necessary for pension service and how to get the reasonable allocation of geriatric nursing staff by prospective survey design. By convenient sampling method, 260 geriatric nursing staff who came to college for training were surveyed by questionnaire and interview. Totals of 249 partially effective and 146 totally effective data was collected, recorded and analyzed. The plan of reasonable allocation of geriatric nursing staff was showed as:①The patient to nurse ratio was 3.7∶1 (1∶0.27), and the ratio of nurse to geriatric nursing staff was 1∶2. 3; ②The ratio of male to female was 1∶2; ③The ratio of professional qualifications junior to medium to senior was 2.6∶1.9∶1. The percentage of associate chief nurses or above was 20. 3%; ④The ratio of educational background technical secondary school diploma to bachelor to master was 15.6∶9.1∶4.3∶1. The percentage of bachelor or above was 31.9%. Conclusions Specialized nursing is necessary for pension service. It is urgent to promote the reasonable allocation of geriatric nursing staff, and this project needs positive concern and support from the whole society.
