Although the concept of united airway disease has been widely accepted, most scholars emphasize only the effect of rhino-sinusitis while ignoring the pharyngeal factors to the lower airway, especially to the allergic pharyngitis (AP), which still lacks enough awareness. First of all, absence of unified diagnostic standard leads to the lack of epidemiological data, which, results in doctors' personal experience but no guideline in treatments. In addition, it is still not clear that the role of AP in the allergic airway diseases and its relationship with asthma. However, the number of patients with AP has been increasing obviously in daily clinic practice. Combined with the previous observation, this paper does a systematic review about the clinical problems of AP, expecting to give a hand to the clinical diagnosis and treatment of AP.

Objective To study the effect of different attention states on auditory ERP and EEG power in normal subjects. Methods In three different states such as passive attention, active attention with target counting and active attention without target counting,EEG were recorded using oddball paradigm in 8 normal subjects while the test tones were presented; Then the peak-peak amplitude and latency of ERP were evaluated and the EEG power spectra were observed. Results The condition of active attention with target counting resulted in the smallest peak-peak amplitude of P 2-N 1 and the largest one of P 3-N 2,and it led to the increment of EEG power at the frequency of 10Hz,while the latencies did not differ among the three different attention states. Conclusion Reduced P 2-N 1 amplitude and increased P 3-N 2 amplitude reflected the allocation changes of attention resource in different states, and increased EEG power reflected more energy consumption in the process of recognition and memory, but the latency was relatively stable and not affected significantly by subject's attention condition.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(03):-
Objective: Auricularid auricula polysaccharide was isolated from Auricularia auricula, and then iron(Ⅲ)-Auricularia auricula polysaccharide complex(APC) was prepared. Methods: APC was synthesized with FeCl 3 and its physico-chemical property and bioavailability were determined. Results: APC was able to dissolve in water and its solution assumed neutral, and this complex did not precipitate at pH from 3 to 11 in water solution, so APC was very stable. Fe(Ⅲ) in APC could be reduced to Fe(Ⅱ) by ascorbic acid. Extracorporeal dissolubility showed Fe(Ⅲ) in APC could be exhibited in 6 h. Bioavailabity studies showed the iron from APC could be well absorbed and maintained longer in serum concentration. Conclusion: APC was able to have better bioavilability as an iron supplement.
