1.Preparation and Clinical Efficacy of Tinidazole Rod
China Pharmacy 2001;0(10):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the preparation and quality control methods of Tinidazole rod(TR) and observe its clinical therapeutic efficacy.METHODS:To determine the content of Tinidazole by ultraviolet spectrophotometry and observe the clinical therapeutic efficacy in 45 patients with periodontitis.RESULTS:The average recovery of Tinidazole was 99.06%(RSD=1.03%).The effective rate of TR in treating periodontitis was 93.33%.CONCLUSION:The preparation of TR is reasonable in technology, stable in quality, feasible in quality control and reliable in therapeutic efficacy. It is worth popularizing the application of this preparation.

OBJECTIVE:To extract, isolate the triterpenes from the leaves of Olea europaea, then conduct structural identifica-tion,and provide reference for development and application of the leaves of O. europaea. METHODS:Silica gel column and other methods were used for elution, column chromatography and recrystallization of the ethyl acetate part of ethanol extracts from the leaves of Olea europaea. The structures of separated compounds were identified by nuclear magnetic resonance. RESULTS:6 com-pounds were isolated from ethyl acetate part of the leaves of O. europaea, identified as β-amyrin,erythrodiol,2α,3β-dihydrox-yl-12-ursen-28-acid (compound 3),oleanolic acid, camaldulenic acid (compound 5),3α-maslinic acid. Compound 3 and com-pound 5 were isolated from the leaves of O. europaea for the first time. CONCLUSIONS:The study has provided test basis for the further development and reasonable application of the leaves of O. europaea.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(03):-
Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of compound tea polyphenols gargle in gingivitis treatment in children. Methods: A study of therapeutic efficacy was carried out in 240 patients(6~16 years) with gingivitis at random. Compound tea polyphenols gargle was appiled to 120 patients of the experimental group, chlorhexidine acetate solution to 60 patients in control group I, and tea polyphenols solution to 60 patients in the control group Ⅱ. The agents were used as mouthwashes for 6 days and 3 times daily. Results: The effective rate(%) in the experimental group, control group Ⅰ and control group Ⅱ were 98.33, 95.00 and 73.33 respectively. Compound tea polyphenols gargle was as effective as chlorhexidine against bacteria. Conclusion: Compound tea polyphenols gargle is effective in the treatment of children's gingivitis.

China Pharmacy 2005;0(19):-
OBJECTIVE:To optimize base material compositions and preparation technology for compound ciprofloxacin gel.METHODS:4factors,ciprofloxacin,carbomer-940,glycerine,triethanolamine(in formula dosages)were selected as variable factors, the stability of the preparation was taken as the index for investigation and table L 9 (3 4 )was used to conduct the orthogonal experiment.RESULTS:The optimum base material composition and technology were the following,ciprofloxacin0.3%,carbomer-9401%,glycerine7.5%,triethanolamine2%.CONCLUSION:The compound ciprofloxacin gel prepared based on the optimized technology is in conformity with the specification stated in Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2000).
