Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of hydrochloride minocycline ointment in the treatment of chronic periodontitis. Methods 40 patients( 100 teeth) with chronic periodontitis were divided into iodine glycerin group (control group)and hydrochloride minocycline ointment group (observation group). Before and after treatment, the changes of the periodontal depth, plaque index, tooth mobility, tooth week attachment level, gingival sulcus bleeding index were recorded and analyzed. Results There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment (P > 0.05 ), and after treatment, the difference in every excerpt -time was significant (all P <0.05). Conclusion The treatment of hydrochloride minocycline ointment in chronic periodontitis was better than iodine glycerin, and could significantly improve the efficacy.

Objective To compare the effects of two different approaches of insulin delivery on hyperglycemia.Methods 26 poorly controlled diabetic patients were studied by two methods of intensive insulin delivery.⑴Continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion(CSⅡ) group(n=6),including 4 cases of type 1 DM,2cases of type 2 DM;⑵Multiple subcutaneous insulin injection(MSⅡ) group(n=20),including 3 cases of type 2 DM,17 cases of type 2 DM.The target BGs for both groups were premeal and bedtime BG3≥3 6mmol/L ≤7 2mmol/L for at least 3 days.Results Both groups had reached the target BGs,the CSⅡ groups more close to normal level.The average durations of treatment were significantly different;CSⅡ(8 3?1 3)d,MSⅡ(13 6?2 4)d for the two groups (t=5 136,P0 05).The hypoglycemia incidence in CSⅡ was(0 67?1 3)time/case,in MSⅡ(2 15?1 4)time/case(t=2 305,P

In this paper the four indexes of two mussels-Mytilus edulis and Mytilus coruscus were measured. The four indexes were protein, amino acids,unsaturated fatty acids and inorganic elements. The contents of protein and crude fats in Mytilus coruscus were higher than those in Mytilus edulis. The contents of essential amino acids have no difference between the two mussels. Mytilus coruscus is a heavy seafood,as there are much more glutamic acid, glycine and aspartic acid in it. The content of docosahexenoic acid (DHA)in M. coruscus was much more than that of M. edulis. Except for Aluminium and Selenium,the other 12 kinds of elements in M. edulis were higher than those in M. coruscus. The contents of polyunsatu-rated fatty acids(PUFAs) were much more than those of monounsaturated acids (MUFAs)in M. coruscus. There is little difference of the content between PUFAs and MUFAs in M. edulis.

ObjectiveTo observe the effe ct of varnish“Fangyouling” preventing skin invasion from Schist osoma cercariae. MethodsThe“Fangyouling” was made from niclo s amide and permeable improver, and the concentration of the drug was 1%-2%. Exper imenta l mice and rabbits were spread with “Fangyouling” on the abdomen skin without h air at day 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 respectively before infection, compaired with cont rol group. ResultsThe worm reduction rates of mice which were spread with drug 1-4 days and 5-7 days before infection were 100 % and 99 7%-88 1%. The worm reduction rates of rabbits which were spread with dr ug 3-7 days before infection were 86 4%-80 1%. ConclusionThe“Fangyouling” has long efficiency on preventing Schistosoma cercariae from invading skin.

Objective To study the effect o f levamisole against the invasion of Schistosoma japonicum cercariae. Methods Mice infected wit h Schistosoma cercariae were administered orally with levamisole hydrochloride or alkali levamisole two days before the infectio n at a dose of 26.25 mg/kg for 7 days. The liniments of levamisole hydrochlorid e and alkali levamisole were embrocated on the mouse skin two days, one day and 0 day before the infection respectively, and the concentrations of the drug were 1%, 2%, 3%, 5% and 7% respectively. The experimental animals were dissected 4 we eks after the treatment and adult worms were collected. Results The worm reduction rates of mice administered orally with leva misole hydrochloride or alkali levamisole were both 0. The worm reduction rates were both 100% when the mice were embrocated with 5% levamisole hydrochloride on the infection day or with 7% levamisole hydrochloride one day before the infect ion. The worm reduction rates were all 100% when the mice were embrocated with 2 %, 3% or 5% alkali levamisole one day before the infection. Conc lusions Levamisole liniments can prevent from S . japonicum cercaria infection, and alkali levamisole is better th an levamisole hydrochloride. When levamisole is given orally, no effect was show n.

Amphetamine-type stimulants ( ATS ) , a group of new-type synthetic drugs mainly in psychological dependence, are abused more and more severely in recent years. MicroRNAs ( MiRNAs ) are an important class of endogenous non-coding small RNAs that mediate posttranscriptional negatively regulation of gene expression by targeting specific mRNA sequences to in-hibit the translation of mRNAs or degrade the expression of mR-NAs. ATS can induce the changes in the expression of miRNAs in addiction-related brain regions which directly involve in the regulation of ATS-induced addictive behaviors. Therefore, to study the regulatory role of miRNAs in ATS-induced addiction has important implications for dependent mechanisms of new-type drugs and the discovery of the new targets of drug actions.

Objective To investigate the risk factors of cognitive impairment in post-intensive care syndrome patient (PICS-CI).Methods A retrospective study was conducted. The patient who transferred from post-intensive care unit (ICU) to the general ward for more than 7 days, and with the age ≥ 18 years old in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University from October 2015 to November 2016 were enrolled. The gender, age, marital status, education, occupation, salary, economic income, smoking, alcohol drinking, previous of history, mechanical ventilation, the length of ICU stay, sedative and delirium, and initial diagnosis were recorded. According to mini-mental state examination (MMSE), the patients were divided into cognitive impairment (CI) group and non-CI group. Univariate analysis was performed to identify the risk factors of PICS-CI, and variables with statistical difference were selected to do multivariate binary logistic regression analysis for the confirmable independence risk factors.Results 104 of the 290 patients developed CI, and the incidence was 35.86%. Univariate analysis showed that the gender, age, education, financial situation, smoking, alcohol drinking, previous of history, mechanical ventilation, the length of ICU stay, sedative and delirium, and initial diagnosis were recorded of ICU were main predictors of PICS-CI patients. It was shown by multivariate binary logistic regression analysis that the age > 60 years old [odds ratio (OR) = 7.523, 95% confidence interval (95%CI) = 2.572-37.851,P = 0.001], mechanical ventilation (OR = 8.773, 95%CI = 2.588-36.344,P < 0.001), sedation (OR = 9.376, 95%CI = 2.661-42.011,P = 0.002), and delirium (OR = 13.201, 95%CI = 2.502-41.433, P < 0.001) were PICS-CI independence risk factors.Conclusions Nurse staffs should strength care and attention on ICU transferred out patients. In order to minimize PICS impairment, special precaution should be implemented according to different aspects.

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of the interventional recanalization for infertile women with fallopian tube obstruction. Methods 636 infertile patients with fallopian tube obstruction diagnosed by hystero-salpin-gngraphy were treated with interventional tubal recanalizafion under X-ray. Results Among 636 patients with 984 complete fallopian tubes obstruction,there were 804 recanalization in tile 984 fallopian tubes and the successful rate of recanalization was 81.71%. Among 252 fallopian tubes with not complete obstruction ,there were 252 recanali-zation in the 252 fallopian tubes and the successful rate of recanalization was 100%. The all successful rate of reca-nalization was 88.3%. These patients pregnancy rate was 28.30% in one year and the second fallopian tube obstruc-tion rate was 6.79%. There was 4 ectopic pregnancy. Conclusions Interventional tubal recanalization has important application in the diagnosis and treatment for infertile women with fallopian tube obstruction, h has merit, such as simple, safe and good effect.

Objective To observe the curative effect and adverse reactions of IMRT and conventional radiotherapy combined with chem-otherapy in treating patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods The patients were divided into the IMRT group (46 cases) and conventional radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy group ( 50 cases ) . Making the IMRT and conventional radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy treatment plan, and analyze the curative effect and adverse reaction of the two groups. Results Compared with the con-ventional radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy group, IMRT group has a significantly increase in complete remission rate and overall re-sponse rate, but there is no significant difference in long-term efficacy. The skin, dry mouth ( parotid) ,and oral mucositis response is lower in IMRT group, and the neutropenia incidence, prevalence of anemia, liver and kidney function damage rate is also significantly lower than conventional radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy. Conclusion The IMRT can significantly improve the curative effect in treatment of advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma and reduce the adverse reactions compared with the conventional radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy.

Objective: To investigate the burden of caregivers of elderly patients with chronic diseases and its influencing factors, so as to provide the evidence for reducing the burden of caregivers. Methods: The caregivers of patients with chronic diseases at ages of 65 years and older were selected using convenience sampling method from Jinqiu Hospital during 2020 and 2021. The burden of caregivers was estimated using Chinese version of Caregiver Burden Scale (CBI), the basic information of patients and caregivers was collected, and the influencing factors of caregivers' burden were identified using multivariable linear regression analysis. Results: Totally 276 questionnaires were distributed, and 261 were valid, with an effective rate of 94.57%. There were 48 men (18.39%) and 213 women (81.16%), 166 (63.60%) subjects aged 45 to 59 years and 354 (82.38%) subjects participating in training on COVID-19 prevention. The mean score of caregivers' burden was 26.27±14.93, and the mean scores of social burden and emotional burden were 11.08±5.23 and 7.81±6.24, respectively. The patients with chronic diseases included 183 men (70.11%), had a mean age of (89.97±8.26) years, had a mean score of activities of daily living of 20.00 (interquartile range, 50.00) and had a mean geriatric syndrome number of 4.10±1.57. Multivariable linear regression analysis identified caregivers' participating in training on COVID-19 prevention (β'=0.175), patients' activities of daily living (β'=-0.144), patients' geriatric syndrome number (β'=0.138) and patients' age (β'=0.162) as factors affecting the burden of caregivers. Conclusions The social and mental burden of the caregivers of elderly patients with chronic diseases is heavy, and patients' activities of daily living, number of geriatric syndromes and age, as well as caregivers' training on COVID-19 prevention may be associated.
