Background and purpose:Edible fungi has shown powerful potential in health care. This study aimed to explore the anti-tumor and immunoenhancement effects of combination of extraction from edible fungi. Methods:C26 cells has been xenografted into mice, and the animal models were randomly divided into control group, prevention group, treatment group and cyclophosphamide group. Mice were given the combination of extraction from edible fungi every day after vaccination of C26 cells into mice, except the prevention group which has been given the combination of extraction from edible fungi two weeks before vaccination. Two weeks after being planted, all the mice were killed and the tumor inhibition rates were studied. The immune function was measured by T lymphocyte transforming assay and NK killing assay. Results:There were signif icant difference in terms of tumor weight between prevention group and control group. The prevention group mice display improved T lymphocyte transforming assay and NK killing ability. Conclusions:The combination of extraction from edible fungi has remarkable inhibitory effects on C26 carcinoma in mice and can enhance immunity against mice with C26 carcinoma.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the expression of full-length spleen tyrosine kinase [SYK (L)] mRNA and protein in human oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) as well as its possible effects on the invasion and metastasis of OSCC.
METHODSThe expression of SYK (L) was detected in 27 cases of OSCC tissues and its matched adjacent non-cancerous tissues by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR), Western blot, and immunohistochemistry. Fourteen cases of normal oral gingival tissues were also analyzed as a normal control.
RESULTSReduced mRNA and protein expression of SYK (L) in OSCC tissues was observed compared with that in normal oral gingival tissues (P<0.01) and adjacent non-cancerous tissues (P<0.05). SYK(L) expression was significantly associated with lymph-node metastasis (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONSYK(L) is a candidate tumor suppressor for OSCC tissues, and has an inhibitive effect on the initiation, proliferation, and lymph-node metastasis of human OSCC.

Objective:
To investigate the feasibility and accuracy using digital surgical guide to position the jaws in bimaxillary orthognathic surgery.
Methods:
16 patients with dento-maxillofacial deformity were included from January to December 2018 in Nanjing Stomatological Hospital. There were 10 males and 6 females, all of which were skeletal Ⅲ deformity. The mean age was 21.3 years old (16 to 28 years). They were divided into digital guide (group A) and traditional model surgery (group B) according to the treatment sequence. All patients underwent both Lefort Ⅰ osteotomy and bilateral ascending sagittal split. Virtual surgery was performed and digital three-dimensional surgical template was printed before surgery in group A. During the operation, digital surgical templates were used to position maxilla and mandible. The accuracy was evaluated by generating color distribution map of deviation grade, which was imaging fusion of virtual surgical jaw position and actual surgical jaw position to measure the deviation distance of each marker point one week after surgery. The deviations between the preoperative design and the actual operation were compared with the
