In order to study the effect of pulse Nd:YAG laser on hypersensitive dentin and inner wall of root canal. The morphologi- cal changes were observed with a SEM.The results showed that the low power with high energy density.Laser irradiation did not do harm to normal teeth tissue. The melted layer of dentin matrix extended to dentinal tubles, and the dentinal tubles were sealed to a depth of 15 um.The conventional preparation of root canal with laser irradiation provided much advantage in clearing the stained layer of inner wall in comparison with conwentional preparation of root canal alone.

Objective To study the effects of phycocyanin on the expressions of matrix metalloproteinase 2 and 9(MMP-2 and MMP-9) after focal cerebral ischemic reperfusion in rats. Methods A rat middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion(MCAO/R) model was built up using the intraluminal filament method and treated by phycocyanin. The brain water content(BWC) was calculated with dry-wet method and the Evans blue(EB) of the brain was measured with the method of colorimetry. The expressions of MMP-2 and MMP-9 were determined by immunohistochemical assay. Results The BWC and EB of the brain increased after cerebral ischemic reperfusion and peaked at reperfusion 2d,and decreased after applying phycocyanin. In control group, the upregulation of MMP-2 began at ischemic reperfusion 24h,reached a maximum at 3~7d,then subsided gradually, but was still in high level at 14d.In phycocyanin group, the expressing time-phase pattern of MMP-2 was similar to and significantly lower than that in control group at same time.In control group, the upregulation of MMP-9 began at ischemic reperfusion 6h,increased at 12h and reached a maximum at 2d,then subsided gradually at 3d to sham group level at 14d.In the phycocyanin group, the expression of MMP-9 was significantly lower than that in control group, and the time-phase pattern of MMP-9 was similar to that in control group. Conclusions Phycocyanin might play an neuroprotective effect by down regulating the expressions of MMP-2 and MMP-9 to reduce brain edema after cerebral ischemic reperfusion.

Objective To investigate the status and influencing factors of infusion-related adverse events in third-party cord blood stem cell infusion. Methods A total of 305 patients successfully underwent haploidentical stem cell transplantation combined with the third-party cord blood(CB) infusion, were recruited by convenience sampling from January 2013 to December 2015,in hematological department of a tertiary hospital in Suzhou. A self-developed questionnaire and adverse event assessment scale were used to investigate the influencing factors. Results The rate of infusion-related adverse events was 49.51%,81.82% were related to cardiovascular adverse events with the high-est rate of hypertension(76.14%). Logistic regression analysis showed that age(OR=1.030,95CI%:1.010-1.051),HLA matching between CB and receptor (OR=0.589,95%CI:0.413-0.838),thawed CB cell activity (OR=1.064,95%CI:1.015-1.115)were major influencing factors. Conclusion Nurses should pay attention to patients who are elderly, with low matching HLA and receive thawed CB product with high cell activities, and provide timely nursing care in advance.
8.Gene co-expression network analysis reveals a novel lncRNA-associated competing endogenous RNA network for ruptured intracranial aneurysms
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2022;41(5):528-533
Objective:To provide clues for exploring the molecule mechanisms underlying ruptured intracranial aneurysms(IAs)by constructing a competitive endogenous RNA(ceRNA)network. Methods:Gene expression data sets of 21 ruptured IAs(RIAs)and 21 unruptured IAs samples were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)database.First, mRNAs and long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)related to ruptured IAs were identified by integrated analysis of weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA)and differential gene expression analysis with DESeq2, respectively. Then, mRNA-miRNA associations were obtained based on miRWalk 2.0; miRNA-lncRNA associations were predicted based on miRcode and data from the literature.Lastly, a ceRNA network including mRNAs, miRNAs, and lncRNAs was constructed via combining lncRNA-miRNA associations and lncRNA-miRNA associations. Results:A total of 470 mRNAs and 78 lncRNAs related to ruptured IAs were obtained through WGCNA and differential gene expression analysis.Based on the databases, 49 miRNAs were predicted to be able to bind to the above mRNAs and lncRNAs, and in combination with data from the literature, 13 miRNAs, 7 lncRNAs and 73 mRNAs were screened to construct a ceRNA network. Conclusions:A new ruptured IA-related ceRNA network including 13 miRNAs, 7 lncRNAs and 73 mRNAs has been constructed and may provide some clues for exploring the mechanisms underlying ruptured IAs.
