E2F transcription factor 1 (E2F1) is a major member of the E2F transcription factor family and participates in a wide range of physiological regulatory processes, such as cell cycle, survival, apoptosis, and metabolism. It is proved that the activity of E2F1 is related to the G1/S phase regulation of the cell cycle dependent on tumor suppressor retinoblastoma protein (RB). Recent studies have shown that E2F1 is highly expressed in prostate cancer cells, manifested as an oncogene, and its expression level is closely related to the occurrence, development, and poor clinical prognosis of prostate cancer. Androgen receptor (AR) is the main driving factor for the growth and progression of prostate cancer, and the changes of AR pathway play a key role in the pathological progression of prostate cancer. This article provide a systematic and comprehensive summary on recently published articles to review the role of the E2F1 pathway in prostate cancer.

Objective To research the mechanism of impairment that cholestatic jaundice is treated as- sistly by MMDB. Methods Obstructive jaundice models with SD rats, which were divided into three time points randomly, namely 7,14,21 days,were established. In each time point, there were three groups(each six rats) : sham operation(SO + NS) ; BDL + MMDB; (BDL + NS). The rats were sacrificed at different time point, in order that liver tissue and inferior vena cava blood were taken out. The concentration of serum glutamate transaminase(AST), albumin(ALB), and total bilirubin (TB) were measured with biochemistry; the expression of TLR4mRNA was measured by reverse transcription PCR. Results On the 7th day after BDL, serum TB,AST level in BDL + MMDB and BDL + NS group were upgrade compared with SO group, in which BDL + NS group were more obviously upgrade than BDL + MMDB group(P<0.01). There was differ- ent to compare between BDL + MMDB group and SO group(P <0.01). On the 14th, 21st day after BDL, serum TB, AST coNTents were to last upgrade in BDL + MMDB and BDL + NS group. It was opposite to the SO group(P <0. 01). Conclusion The level of TLR4 could be weaken by MMDB. It may relieve the im- pairment of liver in cholestatic jaundice by LPS.

OBJECTIVE: To determine imperatorin as the active ingredient of Angelica dahuricae in Jiedu tongqiao pills by HPLC. METHODS: The separation was performed on Waters Symmetryshielb33 C18(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) column with detection wavelength of 248 nm. The mobile phase consisted of methanol-water (65 ∶ 35) with flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1.RESULTS:The linear range of imperatirin were 0.15～1.35 ?g. The average recovery was 100.4%(RSD=1.89%,n=9).CONCLUSION: The method is simple, accurate and reproducible for quality control of Jiedu tongqiao pills.

Objective: To compare the efficacy of moxibustion with different doses for knee osteoarthritis (KOA), and explore the correlation between moxibustion dose and clinical efficacy. Methods: Sixty-eight patients with KOA who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a 20-minute moxibustion group and a 40-minute moxibustion group by the random number table method, with 34 cases in each group. Dubi (ST 35), Neixiyan (EX-LE 4) and Heding (EX-LE 2) were used for moxibustion in the two groups. Each treatment lasted 20 min or 40 min for each point in the 20-minute moxibustion group and 40-minute moxibustion group, separately; the treatment was given 3 times a week and lasted for 4 weeks. The visual analog scale (VAS), Western Ontario and McMaster University osteoarthritis index (WOMAC) and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptom scores were evaluated before and after treatment to compare the efficacy between different moxibustion doses for KOA. Results: After treatment, the total effective rate was 87.5％ in the 40-minute moxibustion group, versus 70.0％ in the 20-minute moxibustion group, and the difference in the total effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the VAS scores, the total WOMAC scores and the component scores of pain, stiffness and dysfunction, and the TCM symptom scores in both groups all changed significantly when compared with those before treatment (all P<0.05). After treatment, the between-group differences in the VAS score, the total WOMAC score and the component scores of pain and dysfunction, and the TCM symptom score were statistically significant (all P<0.05), while the difference in the stiffness score in WOMAC showed no statistical significance (P>0.05). Conclusion: Either 20-minute moxibustion or 40-minute moxibustion can relieve pain, improve stiffness, dysfunction, and TCM symptoms for KOA; and 40-minute moxibustion is better in relieving pain, improving dysfunction and TCM symptoms.

Objective To establish a pancreatic ?-cell developmet fish model with specific spatial expression patterns.Methods Molecular cloning,microinjection,whole embryo in-situ hybridization(WISH)and fluorescence microscopy in living were used to analyze of ?-cell development through generation of transgenic zebrafish.ResultsScreened and established pancreatic ? cells of transgenic zebrafish,and confirmed the fluorescence protein expression in the same spatiotemporal pattern with endogenous insulin gene to achieve dynamic monitoring islet ?-cell development situation in vivo.Conclusion The pancreatic ? cells of transgenic zebrafish animal model can successfully trace pancreatic ? cell development.

The aim of this paper is to apply Raman spectroscopy technique to develop rapid quantitative models for five kinds of Traditional Chinese Medicine containing CaCO3. In the experiment, Raman spectras of 67 batch of sample including Otolithum Sciaenae, Galaxeae Os, Ophicalcitum, Calcite, Stalactite and their mixture which had different content of CaCO3 were collected, and the quantitative models were established by using an improved siPLS to optimize the characteristic spectral bands and using the CaCO3 contents which were measured by EDTA titration method as references. Compared with the results by EDTA titration, the established quantitative model for CaCO, content showed a prediction result that the average relative deviation of the prediction results is 2. 71% and the average recovery rate was 100.46%, when the content is between 0.465 4-0.999 7, and when the characteristic spectral bands of 1 290-1 280, 730-714, 700-690, 660-650, 465-460, 455-445, 405-385 cm(-1) had been optimized. The result also showed that the model using Raman spectroscopy and based on an improved siPLS can get a rapid determination for contents of 5 kinds of Traditional Chinese Medicine containing CaCO3.
