1.Identification of Bailing Capsule by RP-HPLC fingerprint
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(09):-
AIM: To establish a specific method for identifying Bailing Capsule(Synnematum sinense,Yin et shen sp.now).METHODS: Using fermented cordyceps powder(C_S-C-Q80),adenosine and uridine as reference standards,a HPLC fingerprint at 260 nm has been established for identification of Bailing Capsule, using Alltima C_(18)(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) column and acetonitrile-0.04 mol/L KH_2PO_4 in gradient elution as a mobile phase. The flow rate was 0.8 ml/min. RESULTS: The relative standard deviations of stability, precision and reproducibility was less than 3% respectively. The relative standard deviation of relative retention time was less than 5% compared with other HPLC apparatuses and different colunms. CONCLUSION: The method established in this paper has the exclusivity and can be used to identify the Bailing Capsule.
2.Various theories on cosmology and its evolution in western medicine and Chinese medicine
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Philosophy has exerted greatly influences on both western medicine and Chinese medicine, both medicines have quite distinctive and interesting recognitions on illness and human being which reflect their own cosmology and its evolutionary progress.A renown scholar ZHU Xi in the Song dynasty of China has reached the peak of neo-Confucianism and elaborated a lot of theories on Chinese cosmology by summarizing scientific achievements at that time;while Immanuel Kant has done very similar to the western world of cosmology. However, their theories make obvious different. As far as the evolution of humankind is concerned,Karl Popper has contributed his distinguished idea that the brain is the center for evolution. To this point, the theory of Chinese medicine, regarding the human-brain as the Ni Wan,ocean of the marrow.Furthermore, the system that the Ren Meridian and the Du Meridian corresponding to human upright vertebrae column in traditional Chinese medicine, makes an in-depth sense, too.
3.Research on nosocomial infection and drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2008;29(7):592-594
Objective To investigate the distribution and drug resistance state of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, so as to offer reasonable experimental data for clinical therapy. Methods A statistic analy- sis for the specimen souree, distribution of infected departments and drug resistance state to 441 iso- lates was conducted in a retrospective way. Results Among 441 strains, 357 (80. 95%) were isolated from sputum species. The department with the highest isolating rate was ICU (26.5%), followed by department of respiratory disease (20. 63 %), department of neurosurgery (19.05 %) and department of geriatrics (17. 01%). The most sensitive antibiotic was Meropenem, which total drug resistance rate was 13. 61%; the most insensitive antibiotic was ampicillin-sulbactam, which total drug resistance rate was 91.38%. The drug resistance rate of P. Aeruginosa was increasing year by year. Conclusion Clinical isolates of P. Aeruginosa mostly come from sputum samples and ICU, and they are highly and multidrug resistant to various antibiotics.

7.Choose the method of anesthetization for childhood obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(12):1617-1618
Objective To discuss how to choose the method of anesthetization for childhood obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Methods 98 children with tonsillar and adenoidal hypertrophy were seleted, and were randomly divided into two groups.Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy were performed for the group with local infiltration anesthesia, while Tonsil dissection and endoscopic-assisted adenoidectomy through nose were for the group with intravenous general anesthesia. Then blood loss, operation time, intake time, operation damage, psychological trau-ma,hospitalization fares and operative efficacy were compared. Results The group with general anesthesia lost more blood, underwent longer operations with higher cost;the group with local anesthesia had more operation damage,grea-ter psyhologieal trauma and sometimes general anesthesia was necessary for the children who didn't cooperate. But these two methods of anesthetization almost had the same operative efficacy, and the symptoms such as snoring, oral breathing and suffocating were significantly improved after surgery.Condusion Every method had own advantages and disadvantages.Local anesthesia was as effective as general anesthesia in treating childhood OSAHS.but the anes-thetization choice should vary with the situations.
8.Treatment effects of docetaxe or irinotecan combined with cisplatin on patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer
Cancer Research and Clinic 2010;22(9):598-600
Objective To observe and compare the recent objective response rate and adverse reaction of docetaxe and irinotecan combined with cisplatin in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods Sixty-five patients with advanced NSCLC were randomly divided into goup A consisted of 33 patients received docetaxe plus capecitabine and group B consisted of 32 patients received irinotecan plus capecitabine with a 21-day regimen. Two or more cycles of chemotherapy were completed in each group. Results Sixty-five patients were assessable for efficacy and toxicities. In group A, 2 patients achieved complete response, 13 patients partial response, overall response rate was 45.45 % and the median progression-free survival (PFS) was 10.1 months. In group B, 2 patients achieved complete response, 12 patients partial response, overall response rate was 43.75 %, and the median PFS was 10.2 months. The efficacy and PFS were not significantly different between the two groups(P >0.05). The most common adverse reactions were myelosuppression and gastrointestinal response in the two groups. The main adverse reactions is anemia in group A and diarrhoea in group B. Patients in group A experienced more anemia. On the contrary, the rate in group B was more increased. No chemotherapy-related death was observed. Conclusion The effects of docetaxe combined with cisplatin and irinotecan combined with cisplatin in the treatment of advanced NSCLC are comparable and equivalent, and the adverse reactions can be tolerated.
