1.Various theories on cosmology and its evolution in western medicine and Chinese medicine
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Philosophy has exerted greatly influences on both western medicine and Chinese medicine, both medicines have quite distinctive and interesting recognitions on illness and human being which reflect their own cosmology and its evolutionary progress.A renown scholar ZHU Xi in the Song dynasty of China has reached the peak of neo-Confucianism and elaborated a lot of theories on Chinese cosmology by summarizing scientific achievements at that time;while Immanuel Kant has done very similar to the western world of cosmology. However, their theories make obvious different. As far as the evolution of humankind is concerned,Karl Popper has contributed his distinguished idea that the brain is the center for evolution. To this point, the theory of Chinese medicine, regarding the human-brain as the Ni Wan,ocean of the marrow.Furthermore, the system that the Ren Meridian and the Du Meridian corresponding to human upright vertebrae column in traditional Chinese medicine, makes an in-depth sense, too.
2.Identification of Bailing Capsule by RP-HPLC fingerprint
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(09):-
AIM: To establish a specific method for identifying Bailing Capsule(Synnematum sinense,Yin et shen sp.now).METHODS: Using fermented cordyceps powder(C_S-C-Q80),adenosine and uridine as reference standards,a HPLC fingerprint at 260 nm has been established for identification of Bailing Capsule, using Alltima C_(18)(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) column and acetonitrile-0.04 mol/L KH_2PO_4 in gradient elution as a mobile phase. The flow rate was 0.8 ml/min. RESULTS: The relative standard deviations of stability, precision and reproducibility was less than 3% respectively. The relative standard deviation of relative retention time was less than 5% compared with other HPLC apparatuses and different colunms. CONCLUSION: The method established in this paper has the exclusivity and can be used to identify the Bailing Capsule.

4.Treatment effects of docetaxe or irinotecan combined with cisplatin on patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer
Cancer Research and Clinic 2010;22(9):598-600
Objective To observe and compare the recent objective response rate and adverse reaction of docetaxe and irinotecan combined with cisplatin in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods Sixty-five patients with advanced NSCLC were randomly divided into goup A consisted of 33 patients received docetaxe plus capecitabine and group B consisted of 32 patients received irinotecan plus capecitabine with a 21-day regimen. Two or more cycles of chemotherapy were completed in each group. Results Sixty-five patients were assessable for efficacy and toxicities. In group A, 2 patients achieved complete response, 13 patients partial response, overall response rate was 45.45 % and the median progression-free survival (PFS) was 10.1 months. In group B, 2 patients achieved complete response, 12 patients partial response, overall response rate was 43.75 %, and the median PFS was 10.2 months. The efficacy and PFS were not significantly different between the two groups(P >0.05). The most common adverse reactions were myelosuppression and gastrointestinal response in the two groups. The main adverse reactions is anemia in group A and diarrhoea in group B. Patients in group A experienced more anemia. On the contrary, the rate in group B was more increased. No chemotherapy-related death was observed. Conclusion The effects of docetaxe combined with cisplatin and irinotecan combined with cisplatin in the treatment of advanced NSCLC are comparable and equivalent, and the adverse reactions can be tolerated.
5.Research on nosocomial infection and drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2008;29(7):592-594
Objective To investigate the distribution and drug resistance state of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, so as to offer reasonable experimental data for clinical therapy. Methods A statistic analy- sis for the specimen souree, distribution of infected departments and drug resistance state to 441 iso- lates was conducted in a retrospective way. Results Among 441 strains, 357 (80. 95%) were isolated from sputum species. The department with the highest isolating rate was ICU (26.5%), followed by department of respiratory disease (20. 63 %), department of neurosurgery (19.05 %) and department of geriatrics (17. 01%). The most sensitive antibiotic was Meropenem, which total drug resistance rate was 13. 61%; the most insensitive antibiotic was ampicillin-sulbactam, which total drug resistance rate was 91.38%. The drug resistance rate of P. Aeruginosa was increasing year by year. Conclusion Clinical isolates of P. Aeruginosa mostly come from sputum samples and ICU, and they are highly and multidrug resistant to various antibiotics.
7.Research Progress in Traditional Chinese Medicines for the Therapy of Epilepsy
China Pharmacist 2017;20(9):1583-1588
Epilepsy is a chronic disorder of brain, whose pathogenesis is closely related to ion channel, heredity, neurotransmit-ters, cytokine, immunity and neuroglia cells, etc. Traditional Chinese medicines ( TCMs) have made achievements in the treatment of epilepsy in recent years. The paper systematically reviewed the research situations of TCM and the combination of TCM and western medicines for the prevention and therapy of epilepsy in recent ten years. The results indicated that TCMs showed notable curative effect on epilepsy, and the pathogenesis was closely related to neuroprotection, neurotransmitters, ion channel, and relevant gene regulation, etc. The combination of TCM and western medicines can enhance the efficacy and reduce the toxicity in the treatment of epilepsy.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(01):-
Human peripheral blood lymphocytes and sheep red blood cells(SRBC)were incubated together in Hanks solution containing Ca~(2+) and Mg~(2+) ion, causing SRBC destruction and release of hemoglobin, 500%hemolysis value was found to 6.1921?0.06. The destruction of SRBC by lymphocytes was inhibited by trypsinase, its 50% hemolysis value became 0.0348?0.03 (P
9.Effects of Traditional Chinese Herbs, Wen Yang Huo Xue Decoction and Salvia Miltiorrhiza, on Animal Model of Sclerotic Skin
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2003;0(07):-
Objectives To study the effects of traditional Chinese herbs, Wen Yang Huo Xue Decoction (herbs of removing blood-stasis and warming the kidney-yang) and Salvia miltiorrhiza, on the animal model of sclerotic skin. Methods A mouse model for sclerotic skin was established in C3H/He mice by repeated local injections of bleomycin for 3 weeks. Wen Yang Huo Xue Decoction was given orally, and Salvia miltiorrhiza orally or intravenously, to the mouse model. The administrations started either simultaneously or after 3 weeks' injections of bleomycin. Mouse skins and lungs were examined histopathogically, and sera were tested for autoantibodies. Results The administrations of herbs, started either at the beginning or at the time sclerosis was induced, caused no significant alleviation of dermal sclerosis by the end of 5 weeks' treatment. After 8 weeks' administrations of herbs, the dermal thickness reduced and collagen histochemical index decreased significantly, especially in group Wen Yang Huo Xue Decoction was given orally and in group Salvia miltiorrhiza was given intravenously at early stage (P
10.Comparison on the influence of different incision cataract phacoemulsification on the postoperative ocular surface
International Eye Science 2015;(2):331-333
AlM:To observe and compare the influence of different incision cataract phacoemulsification on comprehensive state in patients. METHODS: Sixty patients with cataract who were treated with phacoemulsification in our hospital from November 2012 to May 2014 were selected as research object, and they were divided into group A ( corneal incision group) 30 cases and group B ( corneoscleral rim incision group) 30 cases according to the disease state. Epithelial and incision repair time, tear break-up time, tear secretion, corneal staining score and tear related indexes before and after the treatment of two groups were respectively analyzed and compared. RESULTS: The epithelial and incision repair time constitution of group B were better than those of group A, the incision repair time, tear break - up time, tear secretion, corneal staining score and tear related indexes at 1,7, 14 and 28d after the treatment were all significantly better than those of group A too, there were all significant differences (all P<0. 05).CONCLUSlON: The application value of corneoscleral rim incision in the patients with cataract phacoemulsification is relatively higher, and bad influence of this method for the patients is smaller, the postoperative recovery of comprehensive state are faster.
