Evidence body is defined as an evidence complex incorporating the evidence obtained from various research methods and various resources. As one of common parenterally administered Chinese medicines, Shuxuetong's safety drew high concern from doctors. However, we only have grasped several but less systematic evidence on the safety of Shuxuetong. To build a safety evidence body of Shuxuetong injection. Review and evaluate the evidence related to the safety of Shuxuetong injection after accumulating, searching and classfying related literature. Accoeding to levels of evidence from high to low, the evidence related to the safety of Shuxuetong injection was classified as following: the evidence from a long-term, prospective, large-sample-size and intensive hospital monitoring study was the strongest; the evidence of hospital information system (HIS) data analysis; the evidence of spontaneous reporting system (SRS) data analysis; the evidence of adverse drugreactions (ADRs)/adverse drug events (ADEs) reported in systematic evaluation, ADRs case report, toxicological tests, pharmacological tests were weakest. Based on the evidence body, Shuxuetong Injection was proved to be safe, and its ADRs were mainly allergic reactions, and more often happened among the old patients.

The key scientific problem is to make clear the active components of Chinese medicine metabolism of the drug metabolic enzyme gene, and pay attention to the analysis of the polymorphism of the overall role of drug metabolism enzymes in the human body. This study is to investigate the influence and mechanism of action of asymmetrical dimethylarginine (ADMA) and the induced oxidative stress level on Alzheimer's disease (AD) incidence. ADMA concentration, nitric oxide, Abeta(40)/Abeta(42) ratio, inducible NO synthase (iNOS) activity and the concentrations of the induced free radicals including malondialdehyde (MDA), 3-nitrotyrosine (3-NT) and peroxynitrite (ONOO-) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from 34 neurologically normal controls and 37 AD patients were quantitatively determined and statistically compared. The results showed that the ADMA concentration significantly decreased in AD patients, and it showed negative correlation with the NO, iNOS activity, and showed positive correlation with MMSE score. ADMA concentration was negatively correlated with Abeta(40)/Abeta(42) ratio (P<0.01) with the observation that Abeta(40)/Abeta(42) ratio increased while ADMA level decreased in CSF in AD patients. The concentration levels of MDA, 3-NT and ROS significantly increased compared with the control with all the P values less than 0.05. These findings suggested that the ADMA disorder and the oxidative damage effect of the induced free radicals in CSF of AD patients are an important mechanism of AD incidence, and their joint regulation may provide new idea for the prevention and clinical treatment of AD.

Aim To observe the effect of extracts of ginkgo biloba leaves(GbE) on platelet adhesion and thrombosis. Methods The platelet adhesion was assayed by rotating glass-globe method. The thrombogenesis method in artery-vein bypass was applied to observe thrombosis in vivo. The Chandler method was applied to induce thrombosis in vitro.The tail bleeding time was recorded by shearing tail method.Results GbE significantly decreased platelet adherence rate in rabbits, decreased the weight of thrombus produced in artery-vein bypass in rabbits, shortened the length and reduced dry weight of thrombus of rats in vitro,prolonged the tail bleeding time in mice.Conclusion GbE inhibits the platelet adhesion and thrombosis.

DAZL, a member of the DAZ family, plays a key role in human spermatogenesis. It regulates the promoter via genetic modification, especially DNA methylation, promoting the transcription of DAZL. Besides, the relation of DAZL SNPs with male infertility has been a hot spot of research for many years. It is deduced that local and ethnic factors may be associated with the failure of spermatogenesis. This article presents an overview on the results of recent studies, changes in the DNA methylation of DAZL in spermatogenesis, and the association of DAZL SNPs with male infertility, aiming to provide a new theoretical basis and clinical strategy for the treatment of male infertility.
