1.Application and trend of artificial intelligence in laboratory medicine

The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology has achieved a breakthrough in many disciplines. Artificial intelligence has a far-reaching significance in promoting the further development of laboratory medicine. At present, artificial intelligence technology has gradually penetrated into all processes of laboratory work, such as laboratory data processing, laboratory data mining and laboratory quality control. It not only improves efficiency, but also provides important information for clinical diagnosis and treatment supporting information. The functions of laboratory physicians are likely to undergo corresponding transition and adjustment in the future. Therefore, it is a general trend to promote the development and leap of the next generation of laboratory medicine by artificial intelligence, and the future of laboratory medicine will usher in the "artificial intelligence era".
3.Mechanism Exploration of Sanqi Huoxue Pills in the Treatment of Acute Soft Tissue Injury

Objective:To explore the effect and mechanism of SanQi HuoXue pills in the treatment of acute soft tissue injury. Methods:Totally 140 wistar rats were randomly divided into the control group, model group, posistive drug group, and Sanqi Huoxue pills group respectively at the dose of 0. 5,1. 0,2. 0 g·kg-1 . The rat model of acute soft tissue injury was used to observe the influence of Sanqi Huoxue pills on the content of PGE2 , IL-6, NO and SOD on the 3rd and 5th day after the administration, and the effects of the pills on the whole blood viscosity and plasma viscosity were studied as well on the 5th day. Results: After the administration of the pills, the levels of PGE2 , IL-6 and NO, the blood viscosity and plasma viscosity were decreased significantly, and the level of SOD was increased significantly(P<0. 01 or P<0. 05) when compared to model group. Conclusion:Sanqi Huoxue pills have therapeutic effect on acute soft tissue injury in rats. Free radical, PGE2 , IL-6 and blood hemorheology play important roles in the formation of acute soft tissue injury.
5.Research of XB130,a novel adaptor protein in cancer

Currently,XB130 as a newly discovered characterized adaptor protein ,it has been implicated as a substrate and regulator of many intracellular signal transduction ,such as FAK/SRC,PI3K/Akt and MEK-ERK signaling and so on.It has been found that XB130 is high expression in many cell lines ,for instance thyroid carcinoma,osteosarcoma,gastric cancer,esophageal cancer and breast cancer etc .The mechanism of XB130 in tumor is becoming increasingly attention .XB130 is recently attributed to be a new oncogene ,and plays important roles in cell pro -liferation,cell survival and tumorigenesis .A deeper understanding of these mechanisms may lead to the discovery of XB130 as an important mediator in tumor development and as a novel therapeutic target for cancer.
6.Experimental Study on Hypoglycemic Effect of Yumixu(Zea mays)

The water extract frem the style of Zea mays L.showed a therapeutic effect on diabetes caused by alloxan, and obviously reduced blood glucose level of heperglycemia induced by glucose or epinephrine in mice, but no affect in normal mice, when it was administrated orally. In addition, it could decrease cholesterin content.
7.Various anomalous veins left to aortic arch distinction based on CT findings

Objective To review the CT appearance of various anomalous mediastinal veins left to aortic arch and provide guideline for differentiating between them. Methods All 41 patients (26 men, 15 women; mean age 50.6) underwent CT scan and no one associated with congenital heart disease. 36 of which had the injection of IV contrast material. Others had chest MRI or ultrasound examination. Three-dimension (3D) and MIP reconstruction of the major mediastinal vascular structures were performed in 6 patients. All the CT scans were reviewed in order to observe the CT findings in each anomaly. Results Of the all cases, 24 cases had persistent left superior vena cava, of them, 23 cases with duplication of SVC, and 1 case with absent right SVC. Eleven cases had anomalous left brachiocephalic vein, and 6 of 11 cases were associated with various anomalous aortic arches. Four patients had partial anomalous pulmonary venous drainage of the left upper lobe. Two cases had left brachiocephalic vein continuation of the azygos vein. There were different CT findings among various types of venous anomalies, especially their courses below the aortic arch. Conclusion Contrast enhancement CT scan was valuable in the diagnoses of these anomalous veins. Careful analysis of the CT scans allowed the radiologist to avoid making wrong diagnosis.
8.The incidence rate of congenital malformations in Xintai City from 2010 to 2013 and their risk factors

Objective To analyze the incidence rate of congenital malformations in Xintai City from January 2010 to December 2013,and to investigate the risk factors for neonatal malformations. Methods A total of 21 463 ca-ses of perinatal infants pregnant for 28 weeks later to postpartum 7 d in Xintai city from January 2010 to December 2013 were retrospectively analyzed. The congenital malformations detection data were analyzed. The risk factors were analyzed by univariate and Logistic analysis methods. Results There were 281 cases with congenital malformations were identi-fied out,and the congenital malformation rate was 1. 31%(281 / 21 463 cases). The incidence rates of multi - finger (toe)[0. 24%(52 / 21 463 cases)],cleft lip[0. 23%(49 / 21 463 cases)],and congenital heart disease[0. 22%(47 /21 463 cases)]were the main congenital malformations. Total malformation rates in the year of 2010,2011,2012,and 2013 were similar(1. 26% ,1. 25% ,1. 33% ,1. 26% ,Z = - 1. 826,P = 0. 068). Conclusions Neonatal congenital malformation is mainly determined by genetic and environmental factors. For childbearing age and pregnant women,targeted health education should be strengthened to reduce the incidence rate of congenital malformations.
9.Effects and implications of physical modalities on hs-CRP, TNF-α and adiponectin in patients with cerebral infarction

Objective To observe the effects of physical agents therapy on serum hs-CRP, TNF-α andadiponectin in patients with cerebral infarction and the possible underlying mechanisms. Methods Sixty patientswith cerebral infarction were randomly and equally divided into two groups: 30 cases were treated with physical a-gents therapy ( physical therapy group) , and 30 with drugs only ( drug treated group). Thirty normal subjectsserved as the control group. The level of hs-CRP in the serum was determined by latex agglutination reaction, TNF-and adiponectin were determined by using ELISA before and after therapy. Results The levels of serum hs-CRP and TNF-α of patients with cerebral infarction before therapy were much higher than those of the control group,but adiponectin was significantly lower than those of the control group( P < 0.01 ). After therapy, the levels of ser-um hs-CRP and TNF-α were decreased and adiponectin was increased significantly in both treated groups ( P <0.01 ). Comparison with two treated groups showed that the levels of hs-CRP and TNF-α were lower and adiponec-tin was obviously higher in physical agents therapy group than those in the drug treated group ( P < 0.05 ). Con-clusion The patients with cerebral infarction have low level of serum adiponectin. Physical therapy might exertbeneficial effects on patients with cerebral infarction by the decreasing serum hs-CRP and TNF-α, as well as by ele-vating adiponectin.
10.Establishment of malignant pleural effusion model of Lewis lung cancer based on Micro Echo Technology

Objective To establish a malignant pleural effusion model of Lewis lung cancer in C57BL/6 mice based on Micro Echo technology. Methods Single tumor cell suspension of Lewis lung cancer was injected into thoracic cavity.The pleural effusion was detected by Micro Echo technology.The volumes of effusion were quantified and the tumor cells were counted.Results After implanted of tumor cell, malignant pleural effusion can be detected by Micro Echo technology and observed after autopsy.Chemotherapy drugs such as Cyclophosphamide and Cisplatin can decrease the effusion volumes.Conclusion Pleural effusion model of Lewis lung cancer based on Micro Echo technology can be used to evaluate the efficacy of antitumor drugs.
