Objective To compare the effect of different dose human immunoglobulin for intravenous injec-tion( IVIG) in the treatment of Kawasaki disease ( KD) .Methods According to different time ,55 children with KD were divided into two groups.26 patients between January 2002 and February 2006 were selected as group A,while 29 patients between October 2006 and June 2013 were selected as group B .Patients in group A were given IVIG 0.4 g· kg-1 · d-1 ×5d,while group B was given IVIG 2 g· kg-1 · d-1 ×1d.Then,the time of fever-reducing and CAL of the two groups were compared .Results The time of fever-reducing in group A was (38 ±4) h,that in group B was (34 ±3)h,there was significant difference between the two groups (t=4.15,P<0.05).The incidence rate of CAL in group A was 6.9%,which was higher than 6.1%in B group,but the difference was not statistically signifi-cant(χ2 =0.253,P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of KD with IVIG 2 g· kg-1 · d-1 ×1d is more superior than IVIG 0.4 g· kg-1 · d-1 ×5d.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of hydrogen-rich water (HRW) combined with oxycodone hydrochloride controlled-release tablets (OHCT) in the treatment of malignant neuropathic pain (MNP) patients.Methods Eighty MNP patients were randomly divided into two groups:OHCT group (group A,n =40) and HRW combined OHCT group (group B,n =40).The visual analog scale (VAS) score,frequency of pain outbreaks,pain relief rate,average dose of OHCT per day,and adverse reactions were observed.Results The VAS scores and frequency of pain outbreaks in groups A and B were significantly reduced after treatment (P ＜0.05).Compared to group A,the VAS scores,pain relief rate,outbreak pain and average dose of OHCT per day in group B were significantly improved after 14 and 28 days of treatment (P ＜ 0.05),and the adverse reactions,such as constipation,nausea and vomiting,in group B were significantly less than those in group A (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions HRW combined with OHCT can effectively improve the MNP,and reduce average dose of OHCT per day and adverse reactions.

AIM: To study the effect of oligonucleotides containing unmethylated CpG motif (CpG ODN) on mouse bone marrow-derived dendritic cells (BMDCs) in anti-HcaF cytotoxicity. METHODS: BMDCs were stimulated by CpG ODN in combination with tumor antigen (TAg). The expression of CD80 on BMDC surface was analyzed by FCAS. Level of IL-12 (p70) in supernatants of BMDC culture was detected by ELISA. The proliferation of T cells was examined by MTT assay. Cytotoxicity of CTL induced by CpG ODN combining with TAg was detected by MTT assay. RESULTS: CpG ODN combining or not combining with TAg up-regulated the expression of CD80 on BMDC surface and stimulated BMDCs to produce a high level of IL-12. CpG ODN-activated BMDC promoted the proliferation of T cells. CTL induced by CpG ODN in combination with TAg appeared strong specific cytotoxicity on Hca-F cells. CONCLUSION: CpG ODN may effectively induce the functional maturation of mouse BMDC in vitro. CpG ODN in combination with TAg can enhance the anti-HcaF cytotoxicity of CTL. [

Methods Primary cerebral cultures from rat fetus were used to observe the activity of neuronal cells and to determine the release of LDH and DNA gel electrophoresis.Results GbE enhanced the activity of neuronal cells, decresed the release of LDH,and relieved the structural changes of nucleus and DNA fragmentation. Conclusion GbE can inhibit apoptosis in neuronal cells.

ObjectiveTo explore the association of smoking to the Aspirin and Clopidogrel antiplatelet in patients with stable angina after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods241 smoking patients and 252 non-smoking patients underwent PCI for stable coronary artery disease, all patients had taken aspirin 100 mg/d for 7 d or more. The arachidonic acid (AA)- and adenosine diphosphate (ADP)-induced platelet aggregation were tested as they got in hospital. Then, they accepted Clopidogrel 300 mg as loading dose, continued with 75 mg/d for 3 d. The ADP-induced platelet aggregation were re-tested. ResultsThe incidence of aspirin resistance (AR) and aspirin semiresponder (ASR) was 19.1% in all the cases, and was 25.5% in smoking group, 14.3% in non-smoking group (P=0.027). Age (OR=3.79，95%CI: 1.77～8.12) and smoking (OR=1.98，95%CI: 1.18～4.43) were the independent risk factors of AR and ASR. The incidence of Clopidogrel resistance was 19.5% in all the cases, and was 13.2% in smoking group, 24.3% in non-smoking group (P=0.03). Smoking (OR=0.22，95%CI: 0.09～0.54) may reduce the risk of Clopidogrel resistance. ConclusionSmoking increased the risk of AR and ASR, but reduced the risk of Clopidogrel resistance.

With the development of aging population,the rational drug use in old people was paid more attention nowadays. So far, a number of studies in Europe, Asia and North America showed that lots of prescriptions with potential irrational drug use could be found out using STOPP & START criteria. In China, there is no systematic tool for guiding the rational drug use in old people yet, therefore, we can learn the content of STOPP&START criteria and use them for reference to promote the rational drug use in Chinese old people and lay the foundation for establishing rational drug use judgment criteria suitable for Chinese old people.

Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the chronic diabetic complications,which often leads to chronic renal failure.The diagnosis of DN involves a comprehensive assessment of clinical,pathological and other manifestations.Early diagnosis is rather important for the prevention of DN.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of imiquimod 5% cream applied with different treatment courses for preventing the recurrence of condyloma acuminatum lesions.Methods A randomized,controlled clinical trial was conducted.Patients with condyloma acuminatum were divided into 3 groups (Group A,B and C).Group A was treated with CO2 laser only.Group B was given topical im- iquimod 5% cream three times a week over 4 weeks after laser treatment of visible warts.Group C was giv- en topical imiquimod 5% cream three times a week over 8 weeks after laser treatment of visible warts.All patients were followed up for 6 months.Results A total of 90 patients with anogenital warts were enrolled in,and finished the study.The recurrence rates of the Group A,B,and C were 64.29%,50%,21.88%,re- spectively,in 6 months of follow-up.The recurrence rate was statistically lower in Group C than in Group A and B (P=0.0033),and in Group C than in Group B (P=0.0457).Adverse reactions occurred in 73.33% and 84.38% of patients in Group B and C,respectively,which included erythema,itching,pain, burning,erosion,ulceration and flu-like symptoms.There was no significant difference of the frequencies of adverse reactions between Group B and C (P＞0.05).Conclusion The recurrence rate of anogenital warts declines significantly in patients treated with imiquimod 5% cream for 8 weeks,but not in the 4 weeks group,after laser therapy.The frequencies of adverse reactions are not significantly different in both groups.
