Objective To investigate the effect of nicardipine on perioperative insulin sensitivity in patients with essential hypertension(EH). Methods Thirty-eight patients undergoing lobectomy continuously after induction of anesthesia in group N, while normal saline was infused in group C instead of nicardipine. Blood samples were taken immediately before induction of anesthesia(T_0), 2 h after skin incision(T_1) ,4 h after surgery(T_2) and 24 h after surgery(T_3). Blood glucose(BG) and plasma insulin (Ins) were measured. The Insulin sensitivity index (ISI) was calculated. Results Values of BG at T_2and T_3 in group C were higher than those at T_0 (P<0. 05). Value of Ins at T_2 in group C was higher than that at T_0 (P<0. 05),which at T_3 in group C was significantly higher than that at T_0 (P<0. 01). ISI at T_2 in group C was lower than that at T_0 (P<0. 05) ,which at T_3 in group C was lower significantly than that at T_0 (P<0. 01). Values of BG and Ins at T_3 in group N were higher than those at T_0 (P<0. 05), ISI at T_3 in group N was lower than that at T_0 (P<0. 05). Value of BG at T_2 was significantly lower in group N than that in group C(P<0. 05). Value of Ins at T_3 was significantly lower in group N than that in group C(P<0. 01). ISI at T_2 and T_3 in group N was min~(-1) infused continuously during and after lobectomy can increase significantly insulin sensitivity and improve postopertive insulin resistance state in EH patients.

Objective To explore the influence of MMF on the presentation functions of in vitro cultured dendritic cells. Methods Bone marrow-derived dendritic cell progenitors from BalB/c mice were treated with MMF or without. The antigen-presenting capacities, antigen specific proliferation reaction, mixed lymphocyte reaction and antigen-specific hyporesponsiveness of T-cells were analyzed to investigate the influences of MMF on the presentation functions of dendritic cells. Results Treatment with MMF reduced the soluble antigen presenting capacities of DCs to T cells. The proliferation of syngeneic T cells co-cultured with MMF-DC was significantly depressed, and displayed a comparatively low level of MLR-sti- mulatory activity. The levels of T helper cells derived cytokines were depressed, too. Conclusion MMF has a suppressive influences on the antigen-presenting functions of in vitro cultured dendritic cells and promotes the tolerance-induction effect of DCp.

Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1992;0(12):-
One hundred and twenty cases of male infertility were treated by oral administration of Sheng Jing Zhu Yu Decoction, one dose daily for 2 consecutive months and 72 cases were used as control group. Sperm analysis was made before and after treatment. Results showed that after treatment the motility rate, rapid mobility rate and various mobility indices of sperm were improved in the treatment group and among the 120 cases treated, 16 cases's spouses had pregnancy. It is proved that Sheng Jing Zhu Yu Decoction has a definite therapeutic effect on male infertility, and the therapeutic mechanism might be increase of mobility rate, rapid mobility rate and improvement of mobility indices of sperm.

Objective To study the mechanism of restenosis for the prevention and treatment by PTA (percutaneous transcather angioplasty) through establishing an model. Methods Under median cervical incision, to eplore right rabbit carotid artery and then clip the segments of ICA at the origination and CCA near the cardiac side of bifucation, balloon catheter with guided wire were finally inserted from proximal cardiac side of the ligated ECA to perform TA after withdrawing the clipper. Histological and morphological analysis with the controll of normal left CCA were carried out during different follow up periods. Results Histopathological and morphometric analysis indicating thrombosis was the main changes in early stage and followed by VSMC from media to intima and irregular proliferation leading to obviously intimal thicking and restenosis at 15 days after PTA.Conclusions This experimental study show low mortality, high practicability and good reproducibility of the model as an ideal presentation for study the mechanism and the prevention of restenosis.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2004;0(11):-
Objective To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of the combined use of S1 pedicle screws and the iliac screws in treatment of sacroiliac dislocation and fracture. Methods 11 patients with sacroiliac dislocation and fracture were treated with S1 pedicle screw and iliac screw fixation technique. In this group, the dislocation was associated with vertical displacement of the sacroiliac joint and rotational deformity of the pelvic ring. They were classified as type B or type C pelvic disruption according to the Tile's classification. 7 patients with disruption of the symphysis pubis or pubic branch fracture underwent additional fixation of the pelvic ring using a reconstruction plate. The remaining 4 patients were treated by the posterior procedure alone. Results The vertical displacement was completely reduced in 7 patients, and the rotational deformity completely corrected in 4 patients. The reduction was maintained at the time of final follow up evaluation. No perioperative complications were found. The combined use of S1 pedicle screws and the iliac screws provided immediate stability and sufficient reduction for sacroiliac dislocation in the 11 patients in this study. Conclusion This hybrid internal fixation procedure is useful for reduction and fixation of sacroiliac dislocation associated with the vertical and rotational instability of the pelvic ring.

Clinical Medicine of China 2008;24(8):739-741
Objective To study the association of the polymorphism of A9570G in ACE2 gene with the genetic predisposition of diabetic nephropathy (DN). Methods 312 patients with type2 diabetes(T2DM) were included in the study. All the patients were divided into DM group and DN group according to if onset of DN. PCRRFLP were used to observe the association of polymorphisms of A9570G in ACE2 gene with DN. Results G allele frequencies of male subjects were 57.9% in DM patients and 67.5% in DN patients (X2 = 1. 559 ,P =0.212) ,52. 4% and,52.1% in female DM and DN patients (X2 =0. 003 ,P =0.955). In female patients, genetype in DN patiants had no difference from that in DM patients (X2 = 0. 109, P = 0. 947). Conclusion The polymorphism of A9570G in ACE2 gane may not associated with the genetic predisposition of DN.
