1.Literature Analysis on ADR Induced by Quinolones in the Elderly

OBJECTIVE: To explore the status quo of ADR induced by quinolones in the elderly. METHODS: Retrieved from CNKI database with "quinolones" or "oxacin" as key words, 137 literatures about 173 ADR cases induced by quinolones in the elderly were statistically analyzed in respects of category of drugs, patients’ age and sex, route of administration, primary disease, occurrence time of ADR, organs and systems involved in ADR and clinical manifestation, etc. RESULTS: 12 kinds of quinolones were involved in ADR cases. 63.01% cases were male and 30.06% cases were the elderly (aged from 60 to 65). Main ADR manifested nervous reaction (33.53%), allergic reaction (20.81%) and pathoglycemia (17.34%). The main clinical manifestations of ADR in the nervous system were abnormal mental status and epilepsy (75.86%). Two cases were dead. CONCLUSION: Great importance should be attached to the ADR induced by quinolones in the elderly and occurrence of severe ADR (anaphylactic shock).
2.Literature Analysis of 213 ADRs Caused by Ciprofloxacin

OBJECTIVE:To explore the characteristics and rules of adverse drug reactions (ADR) of ciprofloxacin,and pro-vide reference for clinical rational drug use. METHODS:Usingciprofloxacinandadverse drug reactionsas key words,the lit-eratures reported in Wanfang database in 1998-2015 were retrieved,the gender,age,route of administration,the original disease, ADR occurrence time,ADR involving organs/systems,the main clinical manifestations,allergies,prognosis and outcome were sta-tistically analyzed. RESULTS:Totally 181 valid literatures were retrieved,involving 213 patients. Male was more than female (57.28% vs. 42.72%);it mainly occurred in the first day(130 cases,61.03%);intravenous injection(179 cases,84.04%)was the main administration route;the main ADR involving organs/systems were systemic damage(71 cases,33.33%)and nervous sys-tem damage(50 cases,23.47%);the main clinical manifestations were anaphylactic shock(65 cases,30.52%),severe cases can cause death (3 cases,1.41%). CONCLUSIONS:The clinic should strictly master the ciprofloxacin indications,use rationally, give close observation to the course of medication,alert the incidence of ADR.
3.Clinical comparison between spiral CT coronary angiography and coronary angiography in the diagnosis of coronary myocardial bridge in patients with coronary heart disease

Objective To investigate the clinical value of spiral CT coronary angiography (SCTCA) and coronary angiography (CAG) in the diagnosis of coronary myocardial bridge in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods The imaging data of SCTCA and CAG of 877 patients with coronary heart disease were retrospectively analyzed. The diagnostic consistency of coronary myocardial bridge and the measurement result of myocardial bridge length and mural coronary artery stenosis degree between SCTCA and CAG were compared. Results Two imaging methods in the diagnosis of superficial type and deep type myocardial bridge in patients with coronary heart disease had good consistency (Kappa =0.872). The CAG measurement results of superficial type and deep type myocardial bridge length were significantly lower than the SCTCA measurement results: (5.46 ± 2.21) mm vs. (7.12 ± 3.04) mm and (9.75 ± 3.28) mm vs. (11.38 ± 4.44) mm, and there were statistical differences (P<0.05). The CAG measurement results of superficial type and deep type mural coronary artery stenosis degree were significantly higher than SCTCA measurement results: (38.08 ± 6.37)% vs. (31.69 ± 5.11)% and (60.40 ± 11.86)% vs. (52.38 ± 9.27)%, and there were statistical differences (P<0.05). Conclusions SCTCA and CAG in the diagnosis of coronary myocardial bridge in patients with coronary heart disease have good consistency. The SCTCA in diagnosis accuracy of myocardial bridge length is better than CAG, but the CAG in the diagnosis of mural coronary artery stenosis degree is better.

The effect of diethylcarbamazine (DEC), an inhibitor of leukotrienes (LTS) synthesis or indomethacin, an inhibitor of prostaglandins (PGs) synthesis was investigated in chronic hypoxic pulmonary hypertension and reactivity of pulmonary vessels in different strains of rats. 6.Relation of fear of success to self-esteem,self-handicapping, and defensive pessimism in college students

Objective:To explore the relation of fear of success to self-esteem,academic self-handicapping, and defensive pessimism in college students.Methods:Totally 291 college students were surveyed with the Self-Es-teem Scale (SES ),Academic Self-handicapping Questionnaire (ASHQ ),Defensive Pessimism Questionnaire (DPQ)and Fear of Success Questionnaire for Undergraduates (FOSQ).The structural equation modeling (SEM) and mediation analysis were used to test the hypotheses.Results:Self-esteem negatively predicted quality of life (β=-0.16),working pressure (β=-0.17)and interpersonal relationship (β=-0.14).In the 95% level of confi-dence,the lower range output of Bootstrapping in the path model of self-esteem through self-handicapping,defen-sive pessimism to a fear of success respectively was -0.29 and -0.14.The upper range output of those respec-tively was -0.14 and -0.01.Conclusion:Academic self-handicapping and defensive pessimism may play a medi-ating role in the relationship between self-esteem and fear of success.
8.IMAGE ANALYSIS OF ARCHITECTURES OF AXON AND MYELIN SHEATH IN TEASED SINGLE NERVE FIBER DURING NERVE REGENERATION

The regenerating sciatic nerve of rat was teased into single nerve fibers at various intervals in 98 days after crushing. By image analysis, it was found that the values of architectural parameters of axon and myelin sheath, such as axonal diameter, myelin sheath thickess, their surface area and volume all increased apparently before 56 days, no any significant change was revealed between 56~98 days, and did not reach the level of each individual parent stump even upto 98 th day. In comparison of the architectural changes between axon and myelin sheath further, a parallel development in time course was demonstrated. The result not only indicated that a close relationship existed between axon and myelin sheath during regeneration, but also provided a further evidence that nerve regeneration was cooperated by the interation of both neuronal and nonneuronal regulators, which has been reported previously.

Some studies corresponding modernization of Chinese materia m edica(CMM)were performed in the institute for the new technologies,materials,and facilities based on the achievements and experiences gotten in the past two dec ades.The technologies of large-scale propagation of plant cell,tissue,and organ were applied to the products of cell metabolism,biotransformation,and artificial breeding and rooting.Many new types of large-scale bioreactors were designed an d used not only for laboratory but also for manufactory.Reaction/separation inte gration technology,microwave-assisted extraction,and the other new extraction te chnologies were studied to realize high efficiency and low energy.Besides tradit ional separation and purification methods,new technologies,including extraction in reversed micelles,one step three-phase extraction on Penicillin,foam fraction ation,membrane separation,and high-speed counter-current chromatography(HSCC),we re developed.HSCCC is a kind of liquid-liquid partition chromatography without a ny solid matrix,which eliminates irreversible adsorption of samples on solid sup port in the conventional chromatographic column.It has been successfully applied to the analysis and separation of various natural products.At the same time,man y types of microsphere and microencapsules for controlled release and separation media were prepared and lots of attention was paid on drug modifying and embedd ing techniques.HSCCC was also applied as a new method to the study of CMM finger print and showed good precision and repeatability.High performance liquid chroma tography(HPLC),gas chromatography(GC),high performance capillary electrophoresis (HPCE),and mass spectrometer(MS)played a very important role in fingerprinting.C ontinuous propagation-continuous collection technological process was set for la rge-scale propagation of micro-algae in the study of marine drugs.Transgenic alg ae were cultured to prduce genetically engineered products.
10.Determination of Loganin in Productions of Liuweidihuang by HPLC

Objective To determine loganin in productions of Liuweidihuang. Methods The chromatographic column was shim-packvp ODS-C18 (4.6 mm?150 mm,5 ?m),the mobile phase was THF-acetonitrile-methanol-0.05%H4PO3 (1∶8∶4∶87),the detection wavelength was 236 nm,the temperature of column was 40 ℃ and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. Results A good linearity of loganin was in the range of 4.42?10-2~22.1?10-2 ?g,r =0.999 7,and the average recovery rate was 98.96% (n =6,RSD=1.42%). Conclusion The method provided a reference for evaluating and controlling quality of series productions of Liuweidihuang.
