Objective To investigate the clinical significance of gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT) under laparoscope. Methods The gonadotropin was adopted to induce superovulation and the spermatic fluid was managed with the swim-up method. After oviums were dislodged by puncture under laparoscope, gametes were transplanted by intubating the fallopian tube. Results Among a total of 19 patients, 4 were pregnant, the pregnancy rate being 21.1% (4/19). Three women had a delivery at term and 1 had an abortion. No serious complications were seen. Of the 15 unfertilized patients, normal pregnancy was observed within 6 months after surgery in 5 patients, the circle pregnancy rate being 5.6% (5/89). Conclusions GIFT under laparoscope is a practical assisted reproductive technique (ART) that may achieve a relatively high pregnancy rate. Some other pelvic diseases resulting in infertility can be treated simultaneously, which contributes to natural fertilization in the future.

Objective To observe the effects of hyperbaric oxygen combined with rehabilitation training on the motor ability of ischemic stroke patients. Methods Eighty ischemic stroke patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Bobath' s approach, while the treatment group was treated with Bobath's methods supplemented by hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The United States National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS),the Fugl-Meyer motor assessment scale (FMA) (lower part) and each patient's maximum walking speed (MWS) were used to evaluate the patients before, and after 8 weeks of treatment. Results After treatment the average NIHSS score,FMA score and MWS were 4.17 ± 1.4%,31.2 ± 3.3 and 54,.3 ± 16.2 m/min,respectively,in the treatment group. The control group' s results were 6.81 ± 1.2%,26.2 ± 2.2 and 45.6 ± 18.3 m/min.The intra-group differences in evaluation results before and after treatment were statistically significant in both groups. An inter-group comparison showed that the treatment group performed significantly better after treatment than the control group in terms of FMA and MWS.After treatment, the treatment group showed significantly better walking performance in terms of cadence, stride length, step length on the affected side, gait cycle and double support duration. Conclusion Hyperbaric oxygen can make rehabilitation training more effective in improving the neurologic deficits, motor function and walking ability of hemiplegic stroke survivors.

Objective To discuss the application value of 18F-FDG PET/CT in diagnosis of colorectal cancer. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the data of 186 patients who were diagnosed as colorectal cancer by 18F-FDG PET/CT. We classifed all cases according PET/CT imaging into position group and type group, and calculated SUV (maximum standard uptake value) of tumor tissue, and compared with normal tissue. Results There were 112 cases of rectal cancer,27 cases of carcinoma of sigmoid, 17 cases of carcinoma of cecum,16 cases of ascending colon carcinoma,14 cases of carcinoma of descending colon according to positions via PET/CT. There were 68 cases of protrude type,57 cases of ulcerative type,34 cases of infiltrating type,27 cases of colloid adenoma according types via PET/CT. The SUV of tumor tissue was higher than normal value, the difference had statistical significance. Conclusion 18F-FDG PET/CT has high application value in colorectal cancer diagnosis, positions and types.

To build a reversed phase ion-pair chromatography to determination content of Dencichine from Panax notoginseng. Using Tetrabutyl ammonium hydroxide ions by the combination of reagent and HPLC method without derivatization to test the content of dencichine directly. The optimum conditions of supersonic extraction were solid-to-liquid ratio 1: 20, Continuous ultrasonic extraction: twice, each time 15 minutes; 3,500 r · min⁻¹, then centrifuging 15 minutes. Dencichine in different age, place, part and the different Processing mode were examined. The method is simple with sound separation degree and stability, which can facilitate the determination of dencichine content directly and provide the basis in quality standard of raw material.

Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2008;31(3):297-300
Objective To establish a method for detecting K-rag gene point mutation in pancreatic adenocarcinoma based on the pyrosequencing and to compare its performance with that of Sanger sequencing. Methods Genomic DNA was extracted from formalin-fixed,paraffin-embedded pancreatic tissues including 49 pancreatic adenocarcinoma,10 normal pancreas,11 chronic pancreatitis,18 benign pancreatic tumor,7 insulin carcinoma,9 ampullary carcinoma,7 bile duct carcinoma and 7 duodenum papillary adenocarcinoma tissues.K-rag gene point mutations at codon 12 were analyzed by pyrosequencing and Sanger sequencing, respectively. Results No mutant K-ras gene Wag detected in normal pancreas, chronic pancreatitis, benign pancreatic tumor, insulin carcinoma, ampullary carcinoma, bile duct carcinoma and duodenum papillary adenocarcinoma tissues by either pyrosequencing or Sanger sequencing.K-rag gene point mutation was detection rate in pancreatic adenocarcinoma tissues was 71.4%(35/49)by pyrosequencing and 61.2%(30/49)by Sanger sequencing, respectively. Conclusions Pyrosequencing is more sensitive than Sanger sequencing and is also accurate, rapid and of high throushput in detecting mutant K-ras gene.It may serve as a practical method for fast batch analysis of clinical samples.
