Objective To study the influence of Captopril preconditioning on apoptosis and the expression of gp 130 in rats of acute myocardial injured. Method Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups:control group, Iso group and Cap preconditioning group. Cardiomyocytes apoptosis was detected with TUNEL method. The expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins in myocardium were tested by immunohistochemistry. The expression of gp 130 was tested with Western blot method. Results The index of cardiomyocytes apoptosis was decreased, the expressions of Bax proteins and gp 130 were decreased and the expression of Bcl-2 proteins was increased in Cap preconditioning group compared with Iso group (P<0.01 or P<0.05). Conclusion The expression of gp 130 could be decreased through Cap preconditioning, which can reduce the cardiomyocytes apoptosis.
3.Mapping and localization of susceptible genes in asthma.
Chinese Medical Journal 2011;124(1):132-143
OBJECTIVETo elucidate the development of mapping and localization of susceptible genes on chromosomes to asthma related phenotypes.
DATA SOURCESPublished articles about susceptibility genes for asthma related phenotypes were selected using PubMed.
STUDY SELECTIONUsing methods of candidate gene positional clone and genome-wide scan with linkage and association analysis to determine the location in the genome of susceptibility genes to asthma and asthma related phenotypes.
RESULTSThere are multiple regions in the genome harboring susceptibility genes to asthma and asthma related phenotypes, including chromosomes 5, 11, 12, 6, 2, 3, 13, 7, 14, 9, 19 and 17. Many of these regions contain candidate genes involved in asthma development and progression. Some susceptible genes may affect the phenotype expression or response to therapy. In addition, the interaction of multiple genes with the environment may contribute to the susceptibility to asthma.
CONCLUSIONSAs an essential step toward cloning the susceptible genes to asthma, fine mapping and localization on chromosomes are definitely needed. Novel powerful tools for gene discovery and the integration of genetics, biology and bioinformatics should be pursued.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2014;30(3):169-177
OBJECTIVE:
To observe the time-course expression of calcium-calmodulin dependent protein kinase II delta (CaMK II delta) in cerebral cortex after traumatic brain injury (TBI).
METHODS:
The TBI rat model was established. The expression of CaMK II delta in cerebral cortex around injured area was tested by Western blotting and immunohistochemical staining.
RESULTS:
Western blotting revealed expression of CaMK II delta in normal rat brain cortex. It gradually increased after TBI, peaked after 3 days, and then returned to normal level. The result of immunohistochemical staining was consistent with that of Western blotting.
CONCLUSION
The expression of CaMK II delta around injured area after TBI increased initially and then decreased. It could be used as a new indicator for wound age determination following TBI.

Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2012;32(11):1483-1487
OBJECTIVETo investigate the intervention effects of Suxiao Jiuxin Pill (SJP) on patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) undergoing early percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
METHODSSixty ACS patients were randomly assigned to the treatment group (treated by SJP and Western medicine) and the control group (treated by Western medicine alone), 30 in each group. Coronary arteriography and early PCI were performed in all patients. The effects of SJP on the blood flow rate, the collateral artery patency, and perioperative myocardial infarction incidence were observed.
RESULTSThe coronary blood flow rate was better in the treatment group than in the control group either pre- or post-PCI. [pre-PCI thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) level III: 16/30 vs 11/30, P < 0.01; post-PCI TIMI level III: 14/14 vs 13/19, P < 0.05)]. In patients with ITMI level 0 - I , more patients in the treatment group had collateral artery protective function than those in the control group (5/6 vs 3/13, P < 0.05). The incidence of perioperative myocardial infarction was obviously lower in the treatment group than in the control group (8/30 vs 15/30, P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSJP could improve the pre- and post-PCI coronary artery flow rate, increase the collateral artery patency, and reduce the incidence of perioperative myocardial infarction of ACS patients.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2008;25(6):1338-1343
9-nitro camptothecin (9-NC) loaded amphiphilic copolymer micelles were prepared with solvent evaporation method. The effects of temperature, distilled water volume, stirring rate, and drug input amount on the size and drug content of micelles were further discussed. As a result, well dispersed spherical micelles with drug content of 4.9 percent and 50 -70 nanometers in diameter were achieved with the following preparation conditions: water bath temperature 60 degrees C , distilled water amount 16 ml, stirring rate 6 500 r/min, and drug input amount 1.2 mg. 9-NC release profiles in vitro illustrated that drug release from micelles included initial burst release and following controlled release. The release rate was decreased with the increase of drug content.
