In recent years,minimally invasive surgery has become the mainstream trend of modern surgery with the rapid development of endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques.However,there are limitations when either technique is used alone.The laparoscopic and endoscopic cooperative surgery (LECS),which combines the advantages and makes up the deficiencies of these two techniques,has expanded the application field of minimally invasive surgery.Laparoscopic wedge resections are increasingly applied for gastric stromal tumor.Base on clinical experience of 43 patients who underwent laparoscopic wedge resections for surgical treatment of gastric stromal tumor,we conclude that this procedure is feasible and safe.

Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) is a subset of mesenchymal tumors and represents the most common mesenchymal neoplasm of gastrointestinal tract.In the last decade,GISTs has become well known because of the effectiveness of imatinib mesylate.The molecular targets for tyrosine kinase receptor inhibitor are not only of importance for the treatment of patients but also useful for the development of a novel drug modalities and new strategies in basic cancer therapy.The improved understanding of the molecular mechanism of GISTs has made its diagnosis standardized.Many multicenter phase Ⅱor phase Ⅲ clinical trials have been completed to establish the role of adjuvant and neoadjuvant therapy.It is important to select the correct management strategy,which is multidisciplinary,integrated,and individualized.This paper provides an overview of the rational treatment of GISTs at present.

The microstructure of cationic cyclopeptide (TD-34) treated Caco-2 cell membrane was observed, and we discussed the relationship between membrane structure and insulin transmembrane permeability. Atomic force microscope (AFM) was used to observe living cell membrane in air condition and tapping mode. Results showed that the surface of Caco-2 cell membrane treated with TD-34 lost its smoothness and nearly doubled its roughness. Apparent permeability coefficients (P(app)) of insulin in Caco-2 cell monolayers increased 2.5 times. In conclusion, AFM can be used to observe microstructure of cationic cyclopeptide treated cell membrane and cationic cyclopeptide enhanced insulin delivery across Caco-2 cell membrane by increasing membrane fluidity.

Bacillus amyloliquefaciensin can cause infections and the building related ill-health syndrome among newborns, infants and other immunocompromised populations by polluting hospital disinfectants, such as alcohol 75%, moisture housing and food. In this article, we reviewed the prevalence of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens in environment, food and intrahospital infection, the toxicology by describing its toxicity in mammalian cells, the physicoehemical characteristics by analyzing its special structure of bacterial spores. Objective To summarize the experience in the treatment of Marfan syndrome of pregnancy complicated with acute type A aortic dissection.Methods Three women with Marfan syndrome of pregnancy complicated with acute type A aortic dissection were treated.The average age was 28.6 (25-31) years,and the average gestational age was 36.5 (32-38) weeks.At first caesarean operation were performed under general anesthesia.Bentall + Sun' s operation was performed under deep hypothermic circulatory.After operation,the mother and fetus were followed up.Results Three women and their fetus were safe.The average extracorporeal circulation time,aorta clamp time and circulatory arrest time were 265 (210-280) min,135 (120-160) min and 26.5 (20-29) min,respectively.After a mean follow-up of 2.0 (1.0-2.5) years,3 patients were living well.CT angiogram detected normal aortic,with no signs of distal dilation.Three fetus were normal in development and neurocognitive function.Conclusion Methods of surgical repair and fetal delivery should be chosen based on aortic pathological changes and gestational age to maximize the safety of the mother and fetus.

Objective To explore the effects of hyperglycemia and oxidized low density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) on the differentiation of macrophage derived THP-1 monocytes. Methods THP-1 human monocytic leukemia cell line was cultured in vitro, and the differentiation of THP-1 cells into macrophages was induced by phorbol esters. The macrophages were then incubated with the absence of D-glucose and ox-LDL (control group), 30 mmol/L D-glucose (hyperglycemia group), 100 μg/mL ox-LDL (ox-LDL group) or 30 mmol/L D-glucose and 100 μg/mL ox-LDL(G-ox-LDL group) for 24 h. High performance liquid chromatography was used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of intracellular cholesterol and cholesteryl esters. Both light microscope with red oil O staining technique and transmission electron microscope were employed to observe the morphology of treated and control THP-1 cells. Results A large number of intracellular red oil O stained granules and lipid vacuoles were observed in ox-LDL group and G-ox-LDL group, the contents of total cholesterol and cholesteryl esters were significantly higher than those of control group (P<0.05), and the contents of cholesteryl esters were higher than 50% of total cholesterol in both groups. However, only a few intracellular red oil O stained granules and lipid vacuoles were observed in control group and hyperglycemia group, there was no significant difference in the contents of total cholesterol and choleateryl esters between control group and hyperglycemia group (P>0.05), and the contents of cholesteryl esters were less than 50% of total cholesterol in both groups. Conclusion Foam cells form when THP-1 cells are incubated with ox-LDL, while hyperglycemia alone can not convert THP-1 cells to foam cells, indicating that ox-LDL is necessary for the macrophages derived THP-1 monocytes to turn into foam cells.

With the rapid development of turfgrass industry in our country,more and more attentions are paid to the genetic breeding of turfgrass. Biotechnology has great application potential in varietals improvement of tall fescue,which is commonly grown as cool-season turf grass in the temperate region. The establishment of tall fescue regeneration and genetic transformation systems was summarized. Meanwhile,the historical and present situations of tall fescue breeding are introduced. The part of tall fescue regeneration was expounded from different explants and approaches. While,the part of genetic transformations was expounded from different means. At last,problems and prospects of genetic transformation of tall fescue are discussed.
