Extranodal NK/T cell lymphoma is a kind of disease that is associated with EB virus infection and characterized by progressive distruction and necrosis of the nasal cavity and midline facial tissues, with histological features of diffuse lymphomatous cells inflitrate and inflammatory cells as abackground or angiocentric and angioinvasive inflitrate. The prognosis is poor,as it is highly aggressive and it can progress rapidly. This article mainly discusses and reviews the progress in treatment methods.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2015;21(7):757-759
Objective To develop an alignment technique based on the movement of body gravity center. Methods As join forces in the system of balance is zero, the position of body gravity center can be calculated by body gravity which is taken from weight sensors, by the special software. Meanwhile, the position of body gravity will be sent to control unit, which can be transformed to driving signal of motor. The sliding table with laser, linked to motor, can make pursuit movement following with body gravity. A precise alignment can be made as the movement of body gravity. The balance function test is also used to make an assistant estimate for the alignment. Results and Conclusion An alignment technique has been developed for the fit of prosthesis and orthotics.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(1):120-123
We developed a three-dimensional finite element model of the shoulder glenohumeral joint after shoulder arthroplasty including humerus shaft, scapular, scapular cartilage and eight muscles, while each of the muscles was simulated with 50 spring elements. To reduce the element number and improve the analytical precision, we used mixed tetrahedral and hexahedral elements in the model. We then used the model to calculate the biomechanics of the shoulder glenohumeral joint after hemiarthroplasty during humeral external rotation. Results showed that the maximum joint reaction force was 374.72 N and the maximum contact stress was 6. 573 MPa together with the contact areas at 40 degrees external rotation. These might be one of the reasons for prosthetic disarticulation, and would provide theoretical bases to prosthetic design.

ObjectiveFollow-up of the clinical outcome of prosthetic disc nucleus replacement on patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation. Methods16 patients with lumar intervertebral disc herniation were implanted prosthetic disc nucleus from June to August 2003, including 10 males and 6 females. The operation levels were at L4-5 in 10 patients and L5~S1 in 6 patients. All patients were followed up from 28 to 32 months (averaged 30 months). The contents include pain, physical examination, Short-form of McGill Pain Questionnaire investigation, Visual Analogue Scales(VAS) and Present Pain Intensity(PPI), X-ray and MRI examination, etc. ResultsAfter surgery, 16 patients experienced clinical symptom relief, the displacement of PDN in 1 case and dislocation in 1case, the height of intervertebral space becoming narrower in 5 cases and endplate subsiding in 1 case. ConclusionProsthetic disc nucleus replacement acquired satisfactory after operation, but some complication may occurre in long-term.

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2014;23(4):345-348
Objective To investigate the basis of ultrasound microbubble technology enhanced thermal ablation effect. Methods All 48 rabbits bearing hepatic tumors were averagely randomly divided into four groups:only laser group, sham, destruction + laser group, and blank group. The filling defect area changes of before and after treatment were observed and the differences between groups were compared. Results Pathology confirmed ablation of tumor tissue could produce coagulation necrosis for experiment group. The conventional ultrasound showed there was no significant variation in the maximum diameter and area in the pre and post treatment of experiment group and control group(P >0.05).There was no change for the control group.Ultrasound imaging showed an area of filling defect were:laser treatment alone group (0.83 ± 0.06) cm2,microbubbles false break combined with laser therapy group (0.65 ± 0.05) cm2,microbubbles break combined with laser therapy group (2.40 ± 0.16)cm2,blank control group (0.01 ± 0.01) cm2.The filling defect area of the treatment group, which was combined with ultrasound microbubble break technology and laser ablation was increased, there was significant variation in the each group (P <0.05).Conclusions Microbubble burst combined laser ablation could expand the single needle laser ablation area of rabbit VX2 liver tumor and increase the therapeutic effect.

70 bpm during scan),the proportion of segments that could not be assessed because of motion artifact were 0.1%(1/759),1.1%(7/649),2.5% (10/407),42.6%(103/242),and 75.5%(108/143),respectively.With conventional selective coronary angiography as the golden standard, the sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative prediction values to detect≥50% stenotic lesions in the assessable segments were 79.2%,96.0%,83.8%,and 94.6%,respectively.There was a significant correlation between the number of segments per patient not assessable because of motion artifact and heart rate during the scan(r=0.655,P=0.000).Conclusion MSCT is capable of achieving high accuracy for detection of coronary artery stenosis, and is a reliable technique to diagnose coronary artery disease.

Objective To observe the changes of inflammatory factors and clinical parameters on septic patients with hemoperfusion, and to discuss the application of hemoperfusion on sepsis. Methods 43 patients with sepsis were divided into treatment group and control group randomly. In the treatment group, the patients received conventional treatment and hemoperfusion together, which performed every 24 hours, continuously for 3 times when they arrived in ICU in the first hour. The concentrations of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-10 and PAF were dynamically detected before hemoperfusion, after 24 hours,48 hours and 72 hours in treatment group. The concentrations of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-10 and PAF were compared between the two groups after 72 hours. So did the clinical parameters as WBC count,CRP,PCT and blood lactate acid. Results The concentrations of TNF-α,IL-6, IL-10 and PAF were increased significantly in the early stage of sepsis, and were decreased obviously after hemoperfusion(P < 0.01). After 72 hours treatment, the concentrations of TNF-α,IL-6 and PAF were decreased rapidly,so did the level of CRP,PCT and blood lactate acid. There were significant differences between the two groups(P < 0.05). ConclusionHemoperfusion could remove the inflammatory factor of septic patients and improve the clinical symptoms of them.

Objective To assess the value of MSCT in the follow-up of patients with small hepatocelluar carcinoma(sHCC) treated with RFA. Methods Twenty-eight patients with sHCC underwent MSCT scanning 1, 3 and 6 months after RFA. Results One month after RFA, 25 tumors were completely necrotized, among which 19 presented no enhancement on dual-phase contrast CT scans and 6 showed thin ring-shaped enhancement on artery-phase contrast. Three cases with residual tumor manifested as nodular enhancement in margin of lesion. Three and 6 months after RFA, all 25 tumors, which were completely necrotized, became small and presented no enhancement. New tumors were found in the liver in 2 cases six months after RFA. Conclusion RFA is an effective therapeutic method for sHCC, and MSCT dual-phase enhanced scanning is a good way for evaluating the curative effect and follow-up.
