Objective To investigate influence of laser positioning system to position repeatability of patients treated with radiotherapy for pelvic tumors.Methods Forty patients with pelvic tumors were divided into two groups,using laser positioning system positioning (20 cases) and conventional positioning (20 cases),respectively,CBCT was used to verify and analyze the setup errors of two groups.Results The setup errors on X,Y and Z axes in laser positioning system positioning group were (2.63±1.07) mm,(2.38±1.28) mm and (2.46±1.21) mm,they were (3.04±1.22) mm,(2.55±1.35) mm and (3.09±1.37) mm in conventional positioning group.It has significance reduce on X and Z axes (P =0.040,0.003,respectively) by using laser positioning system,and has no significance on Y axis (P =0.432).Conclusion It can improve patient positioning repeatability effectively by using laser positioning system for patient positioning.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the status of human papillomavirus ( HPV) infection and its genotypes in male patients in Zhenjiang area.

METHODSUsing PCR and reverse dot blot hybridization, we determined the genotypes of HPV DNA in 245 male patients at our Clinic of Dermatology and STD.

RESULTSThe total rate of HPV infection was 43.67% (107/245), and 18 subtypes were detected. Among the 107 HPV-positive cases, low-risk, high-risk, and combined high- and low-risk infections accounted for 39.25% (42/107), 38.32% (41/107), and 22.43% (24/107), respectively. The most notable low-risk HPV types were HPV6 and HPV11, and the most notable high-risk HPV types were HPV16, HPV52, and HPV58. The rates of single infection and multi-infection were 53.27% (57/107) and 46.73% (50/107), respectively. One case had the most types, infected with 8 genotypes. No statistically significant differences were observed in the total rate of HPV infection among different age groups (Χ2 = 7.999, P > 0.05).

CONCLUSIONThe dominant subtypes of HPV infection in male patients in Zhenjiang area were HPV6, HPV11, and HPV16. The most common subtypes were HPV6 and HPV11 in low-risk infection, and HPV16, HPV52, and HPV58 in high-risk infection.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of bicyclol combined with polyene phosphatidyl choline in elderly non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).Methods One hundred and twenty elderly patients with NAFLD were divided into 3 groups by block randomization method,40 cases in each group.Therapeutic group was treated by bicyclol combined with polyene phosphatidyl choline; bicyclol group was only treated by bicyclol; and polyene phosphatidyl choline group was only treated by polyene phosphatidyl choline.The blood biochemical indexes,liver ultrasound score and clinical curative effect of 3 groups were compared after treated for 24 weeks.Results The total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),alanine aminotransferase (ALT),aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and gamma glutamine transferase (GGT) in 3 groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05) ; TC,TG and ALT levels in therapeutic group after treatment were significantly lower than those in bicyclol group and polyene phosphatidyl choline group [(1.36 ± 0.84) mmol/L vs.(2.77 ± 1.27),(2.84 ±1.35) mmol/L; (1.32 ±0.71) mmol/L vs.(1.89 ±0.87),(1.92 ±0.90) mmol/L; (38.26 ± 12.75) U/L vs.(57.83 ± 16.67),(62.07 ± 18.16) U/L],and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).The liver ultrasound score in 3 groups after treatment was significantly decreased compared with that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).Liver ultrasound scores in therapeutic group after treatment were significantly lower than those in bicyclol group and polyene phosphatidyl choline group [(2.08 ± 0.93) scores vs.(3.17 ± 1.14),(3.34 ± 1.07) scores],and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).The total effective rate in therapeutic group was significantly higher than that in bicyclol group and polyene phosphatidyl choline group [85.0％ (34/40) vs.67.5％ (27/40),65.0％ (26/40)],and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜0.05).Conclusions Bicyclol combined with polyene phosphatidyl choline has better clinical effect in elderly patients with NAFLD.It is better than single bicyclol and polyene phosphatidyl choline and worth clinical promotion.

Abstract?AlM:To investigate the effects of the MUC5AC levels and ocular function of the patients with glaucoma and cataract with combined surgery.? METHODS: Twenty - eight patients treated with glaucoma and cataract combined surgery were chosen as the observation group from December 2011 to June 2014 in our hospital, and other 28 cases of glaucoma and cataract did not undergo surgical treatment were selected as the control group, 30 healthy subjects were as healthy control group. the MUC5AC level and ocular surface score of the three subjects before surgery 1d, after 3 and 6mo were compared.?RESULTS: The NUC5AC of the two groups of patients was significantly lower than that of the healthy control group before surgery (P<0. 05), the ocular function score was significantly higher than the healthy control group ( P<0. 05). After 1mo, the MUC5AC of the observation group were significantly lower than that of before surgery ( P<0. 05), after 3mo MUC5AC content gradually increased to preoperative levels, after 6mo the MUC5AC were significantly higher than before surgery (P<0. 05). After 1mo, ocular function scores were significantly higher than the preoperative ( P< 0. 05 ), while after 3mo, ocular function scores decreased after 6mo of ocular surface function scores were significantly lower than the preoperative (P<0. 05). While the control group after 6mo, with the passage of time, the MUC5AC content gradually reduce, ocular function score increased gradually. ?CONCLUSlON:To treat the patients with glaucoma and cataract with combined surgery, the level of MUC5AC can temporary decrease. Ocular function score can temporary increase in, but after 3mo, it can be gradually improved.

Objective To investigate the significance of anti-mutated citrullinated vimentin(MCV)an- tibody in rheumatoid arthritis(RA)and study the correlation among anti-CCP,other antoantibodies and clinical manifestations of RA.Methods Anti-MCV antibody was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)in 166 serum samples including 74 from RA(18 cases with early RA and 56 cases with late RA),50 from non-RA rheumatic diseases and 42 cases of healthy blood donors.At the same time,other antuoantibod- ies were detected by different techniques,and their clinical meaning was investigated with the corresponding clinical data.Results Anti-MCV was found in 78%(58/74)of RA.The sensitivity and specificity of Anti- MCV in RA were 78% and 95%.The positive and negative predictive value was 97% and 71%.The average cut off concentration of Anti-MCV was(552?380)U/ml in RA,(162?63)U/ml in non-RA and(63?46)U/ml in healthy control.Anti-MCV was strongly correlated to anti-CCP(r=0.502,P=0.000),then AKA(r=0.408)anti APF(r=0.369).No differences was found between Anti-MCV and other clinical/laboratory parameters(P＞0.05). Conclusion Anti-MCV antibody may be a valuable diagnostic parameter for RA.Anti-MCV is more strongly correlated to anti-CCP than APE and AKA.It may not relate to disease activity and/or severity.

Objective To inactivate Death-associated protein kinase 1 gene (DAPK1) by transfecting complementary methylated oligonucleotides and studies its effect on the proliferation of myelogenous leukemia cell line K562. Methods Methylated oligonucleotides complementary to DAPK1 gene promoter were transfected into K562 cells by Iipo2000. Methylation specific PCR (MSP) and Reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) were applied to detect DAPK1 gene promoter methylation status and its mRNA expressions respectively. MTT was used to detect the proliferation of K562 cells pre- and post- oligonucleotides transfection. Results DAPK1 gene promoter in non-treated and control groups were unmethylated with detectable mRNA expressions, but it became methylated with inhibited mRNA expressions after methylated oligonucleotide transfection. Proliferation in methylated oligonucleotide treatment group was significantly higher than that in non-treated and control groups. Conclusion Complementary methylated oligonucleotides could inactivate DAPK1 gene and inhibit its expression in K562 cells, which could promote its proliferation.

AIM: To establish the quality standard for Yanqingsong Granule (Radix P uerariae, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, et c.). METHODS: Radix Puerariae; Rhizoma Chuanxio ng; Radix Paeoniae Alba; Radix Angelicae Dahuricae. in Yanqingsong Granule were identified by TLC, and the content of puerarin was determined by HPLC. RESULTS: Radix Puerariae; Rhizoma Chuanxio ng; Radix Paeoniae Alba; Radix Angelicae Dahuricae could be identified by TLC. P uerarin showed a good linear relationship at a ran ge of 0.1716～0.8580?g,r=0.9999. The average recovery was 97.49% (RSD= 1.77% and n=6). CONCLUSION: The methods are available with a reproducibility and ca n control the quality of this granule effectively.
