Objective:To discuss the X-ray digital tomosynthesis (Digital Tomosynthesis, DTS) application value in the occult fractures of the scaphoid. Methods: we selected 19 patients in our hospital in 2012 examined by DTS, who were negative or highly suspicious of occult fracture with X-ray examination, and spiral CT (SCT) three-dimensional (3D) reconstructions were applied in seven patients. Results:There were 17 patients with fracture by DTS.7 patients showed fracture by spiral CT(SCT) three-dimensional(3D) reconstructions. Conclusion:Compared with X-ray examination, the image quality of Digital Tomosynthesis (DTS) is higher, which can show occult fracture better. Compared with CT, DTS can show spatial location of bony anatomy more clearly and can obtain more detailed information. With the important extension and supplement of CT and MRI, the distal tomosynthesisis is worth to be generalized for lower radiation, lower price, higher positive rate and high quality of the pictures.

Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 1989;0(01):-
A quantitative study on human water contact was carried out in an endemic area of schistosomiasis japonica. The information relating to frequency, duration and intensity of each activities was obtained from 390 persons (93% of all) aged 5-59 and 10 days of each season in 1987 was surveyed by using systematic sampling. Socioeconomic investigation and stool examination were also performed on the same population. It is found that cutting grass and fishing are the most important activities, as well as swimming and bathing. The accumulated index ofexposure is high in spring and summer, low in autumn and rare in winter. The peak contact is 8-12 o'clock in the morning. The reasons of contact are different between males and females. And the peak contact is at teen aged youth. Studies on water contact and socioeconomic factors show that there are more contacts in peasants than in those with other occupations. Rich farmers who has more savings contact less. The contacts seem more frequent in those whose family water supply is from infected water. The stepwise regression analysis shows that the most important factor relating to the infection of schistosomiasis japonica are index B of exposure (accumulation of duration ? intensity). The infected water supply of family and education were two other factors relating to the infection.

Objective:To survey the incidence of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in high risk patients undergoing thoracotomy and observe the changes of hemostatic activity. Methods: Fifty-two consecutive patients (ages that ranged from 35 to 79, 34 men and 18 women) with lung or esophagus cancer were enrolled into this prospective trial. The patients included underwent major thoracic surgery from February 2003 to April 2003. Bilateral lower extremity duplex ultrasonography for DVT screening was performed 3-10 days post surgery in all 52 patients and 57 matched clinic normal controls. Venous blood was collected to determine fibrinogen(FIB), D-dimer(D-D), plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI), antithrombin (AT), thrombin antithrombin complex (TAT), prothrombin time (PT),international normalized ratio(INR), and activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) immediately before surgery, the third and tenth days postoperatively. No patient had a prior thromboembotic history. Risk factors for DVT were evaluated. Results: Of the 52 patients, 28 (53.8%) had an acute postoperative DVT detected in the calf. One patient died of suspected pulmonary embolism postoperatively. Plasma levels of FIB and D-D increased significantly up to 7 d after operation. AT level decreased significantly 3 d after operation and returned to normal 7 d latter. TAT increased significantly 3 d post operation and decreased to normal on day 7. PAI level was lowered 3 d after surgery, but increased significantly on day 7 compared with that on day 3. With the addition of risk factors related to thrombosis, the incidence of DVT was increased correspondingly. Conclusion: Of the patients undergoing major thoracic surgery,53.8% of them had a postoperative DVT by postoperative screening duplex ultrasound. In Chinese population, incidence of DVT appears to be high without prophylaxis, which is similar to other reports of westerners. These patients had a number of risk factors for the development of DVT, which include older age, overweight, hypertension, diabetes, and history of thromboembolism, etc. Prophylactic measures should be taken against postoperative venous thromboembolism in major thoracic surgery with high risk, including early mobilization, anticoagulant therapy with heparins, and intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC).

The aim of this paper is to apply Raman spectroscopy technique to develop rapid quantitative models for five kinds of Traditional Chinese Medicine containing CaCO3. In the experiment, Raman spectras of 67 batch of sample including Otolithum Sciaenae, Galaxeae Os, Ophicalcitum, Calcite, Stalactite and their mixture which had different content of CaCO3 were collected, and the quantitative models were established by using an improved siPLS to optimize the characteristic spectral bands and using the CaCO3 contents which were measured by EDTA titration method as references. Compared with the results by EDTA titration, the established quantitative model for CaCO, content showed a prediction result that the average relative deviation of the prediction results is 2. 71% and the average recovery rate was 100.46%, when the content is between 0.465 4-0.999 7, and when the characteristic spectral bands of 1 290-1 280, 730-714, 700-690, 660-650, 465-460, 455-445, 405-385 cm(-1) had been optimized. The result also showed that the model using Raman spectroscopy and based on an improved siPLS can get a rapid determination for contents of 5 kinds of Traditional Chinese Medicine containing CaCO3.

China Oncology 2009;19(12):904-909
Background and purpose: Urokinase-type plasminogen activator receptor is related to invasion and metastasis of tumor. Inhibition of uPAR expression in tumor cells results in reducing its metastasis. This study was aimed to construct an expression vector with short hairpin RNA (shRNA) of uPAR, which could pave the way for RNAi-mediated tongue squamous cell carcinoma therapy. Methods: Genome sequences of uPAR gene were retrieved from Genhank and cDNA was designed to code expression of shRNA for uPAR gene. The cDNA was synthesized and inserted into the eukaryotic expression vector pWH1, and the recombinant pWH1-uPAR expression vector was identified by enzyme cutting method. Then, pWH1-uPAR expression vector was transfected into tongue squamous cell carcinoma Ts cells by Lipofectomine 2000. At last, the expression of uPAR in Ts cells transfected with pWH1-uPAR expression vector was observed by RT-PCR, immunocytochemistry staining and Western blot. MTT assay was performed to measure the proliferation of Ts cell. Results: The uPAR shRNA eukaryotic expression vector was successfully constructed. Compared with Ts cells and Ts cells transfected with plasmid pWH1, the Ts cells transfected with pWHI-uPAR expression vector showed a lower mRNA and protein expression of uPAR. The inhibition rate of proliferation was 32.9% of Ts cells by transfected with pWHl- uPAR. Conclusion: The constructed uPAR shR.NA expression vector could inhibit the expression of uPAR in tongue squamous cell carcinoma, which may be helpful for further research on the function of uPAR and provide effective methods for therapy of tongue squamous cell carcinoma.
