In this paper, the specific male sequeuce in paraffin section of various tissues with autolys is ofdifferent degrees was detected by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).The results shewed that PCR could be used for identifying sex in the tissues with low degrees ofautolysis; its positive rate was lower in high degrees with disappearance of nuclaic member and cell ou-tline,and often gave false negative results when the autolysis degree was high.

Incubation of RLE-6TN cells with TGF-beta1 resulted in the up-regulation of the expression of the mesenchymal cell markers, after artesunate intervened on it, resulted in the down-regulation of the expression. Meanwhile, incubation with artesunate intervened on RLE-6TN cells could lead to the apparent down-regulation of the expression of Smad3 and up-regulation of Samd7 and the transition of RLE-6TN cells to mesenchymal-like by TGF-beta1 induction, after artesunate intervened on it, RLE-6TN cells to epithelial-like. TGF-beta1 induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition process; artesunate can inhibit TGF-beta1-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition process, the possible mechanism is up-regulation of the expression of Smad7 and down-regulation of the expression of Smad3, meanwhile inhibits phosphorylation of Smad3.

Ovarian endometrioma is a common form of endometriosis, which may cause infertility, dysmenorrhea and pelvic pain in women of reproductive age. Although surgery is the treatment of choice for endometriomas, recurrence poses a formidable frustration. This study investigated potential risk factors of endometriomas recurrence, aiming to better understand its pathogenesis. A total of 307 patients with endometriomas were followed up for an average of 28.6 months and the 1-, 2- and 3-year cumulative recurrence rate was 9.5%, 21.9%, and 29.2%, respectively. Twenty-one potential risk factors for endometriomas recurrence were evaluated using Cox's proportional hazards models. Total revised American Fertility Society (rAFS) score was significantly associated with higher recurrence (OR=1.858, 95% CI=1.122-3.075, P=0.016), as well as younger age at surgery (OR=0.953, 95% CI=0.915-0.992, P=0.020). Semiradical surgical treatment was defined as surgical removal of cyst plus hysterectomy with preservation of bilateral or unilateral ovary, and was a significant factor that was associated with lower recurrence than the conservative surgery (OR=0.318, 95% CI=0.107-0.951, P=0.040). Postoperative pregnancy was favorable factors for disease recurrence (OR=0.217, 95% CI=0.102-0.460, P=0.000). The results suggest that endometrioma recurrence is inversely associated with age at surgery and postoperative pregnancy, and may correlate with total rAFS score and conservative surgery method.

Objective To observe the curative effect of autologous bone marrow stem cells implantation to bone inducing active material combined with core decompression in the treatment of early femoral head osteonecrosis (FHON).Methods From April,2010 to March,2012,in Department of Orthopaedics,the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University,a total of 79 adult patients with 108 hips suffered from the early stage FHON were treated with autologous bone marrow stem cells implantation to bone inducing active material combined with core decompression through the core of the femoral canal,male of 65 cases,female of 14 cases,the mean age was 29.5 (20-50) years old.According to the etiology classification:the alcohol-induced FHON was in 54 patients with 66 hips,steroid-induced FHON in 14 patients with 20 hips,steroid and alcohol-induced ONFH was in 11patients with 22 hips.According to association research circulation osseous (ARCO)classifying,Ⅰ-A,Ⅰ-B,Ⅱ-A,Ⅱ-B phases were 6,16,8,and 78 hips,respectively.There were 43 hips in left side and 65 hips in the right side.Results All patients were followed up from 4 to 6 (4.8 ± 0.6) years.Compared with before operation,the scores of all patients were significantly increased (P ＜ 0.05).All patients with hip pain symptoms were relieved or disappeared.The healing tine of the patients in all age groups was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05),and with the increase of age,the healing time was prolonged.The excellent and good rates of Ⅰ-A,Ⅰ-B,Ⅱ-Aand Ⅱ-B were 100％ (6 / 6),100％ (16/16),100％ (8/8),and 98.7％ (77/78).The X-ray showed that coarse channel osteogenic phenomenon is obvious,there is 1 case collapse of femoral head of stage Ⅱ-B,the rest were not collapse.Conclusion The treatment of early osteonecrosis of the femoral head with autologous bone marrow stem cells implantation to bone inducing active material combined with core decompressionis definitely effective,especially in patients with ARCO:Ⅰ-A,Ⅰ-B and Ⅱ-A phase,and the effect of ARCO:Ⅰ-A and Ⅱ-A is the best.

Objective To explore the significance of 1.5-Tesla MRI in the early diagnosis of prostate cancer,and analyze the imaging features in T2WI which are helpful for the diagnosis on early prostate cancer.Methods The clinical data of patients with PSA ＜ 20 μg/L who received prostate biopsy between Feb.2006 and Jan.2011 were reviewed including pelvic MRI and biopsy results.We retrospectively analyzed T2WI image features and evaluated the signal of peripheral zone,seminal vesicles,prostate capsule and the relationship with their surrounding tissues.The results of the reading were analyzed with reference to histopathologic evaluation of prostate biopies.Results Among 359 patients,137 patients were diagnosed prostate cancer and 332 cases were found with low signal lesions on peripheral zone of T2WI.Univariate logistic regression analysis showed that age and PSA are closely related to the diagnosis of prostate cancer (P ＜ 0.05).Low signal lesions on peripheral zone of T2WI are more helpful for the diagnosis of prostate cancer on the image.Number,shape,margin of lesions,the contour of the prostatic capsule,the boundary of peripheral zone and transitional zone are significantly associated with the diagnosis of prostate cancer.Through multivariate logistic regression analysis,it was found that age (P ＜ 0.05),PSA (P ＜ 0.05),prostate volume (P ＜ 0.05),lesion shape (flaky vs nodular,P ＜ 0.05 ; diffuse vs nodular,P ＜ 0.05) and the contour of the prostatic capsule (disappearing vs completely clear,P ＜ 0.05) are risk factors of prostate cancer.The areas under receiver operating characteristic curve are 0.833 (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions In T2WI,lesion shape and the contour of the prostatic capsule are risk factors of prostate cancer.Age,PSA,prostate volume are also significantly associated with the diagnosis of prostate cancer.

Objective To explore the clinical value of image gradings of T2 weighted imaging (T2WI) and diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) for prostate cancer diagnosis in patients with prostate specific antigen (PSA) less than 20 μg/L.Methods A total of 133 patients with PSA＜20 μg/L who received prostate biopsies in our hospital from December 2011 to January 2013 were recruited.The prostate was divided into six regions in MRI images.T2WI and DWI image gradings on each region in peripheral zone were evaluated with reference to histopathological evaluation of prostate biopsies.The significance of grading system for the diagnosis of prostate cancer in the two scanning methods alone or in combination were compared.Results 60 patients were diagnosed as prostate cancer.The positive biopsy rates were 2.8％,13.5％,20.4％,34.6％,52.6％ and 88.9％,respectively in grade 0-5 based on T2WI imaging grading.The positive biopsy rates were 11.1％,16.1％,48.5％,71.0％ and 86.1％,respectively in grade 1-5 based on T2WI+ DWI imaging grading.The positive biopsy rate was significantly increased with the increments of pre-established T2WI and T2WI+DWI image gradings (Z=-9.8552,-13.4148,both P＜0.0001).Receiver operating characteristic analysis showed that the diagnostic capability was better in T2WI combined with DWI than in T2W1 alone in prostate cancer detection (AUC:0.743 vs.0.715,P=0.0072).Conclusions T2WI image grading can predict the risk of prostate cancer in patients with PSA＜20 μg/L,and DWI can enhance the ability to predict prostate cancer.

OBJECTIVETo systematically review the effectiveness of minimally invasive total hip arthroplasty (MIS-THA) versus traditional total hip arthroplasty (THA) in patients with hip diseases.

METHODSThrough a method of combining Free words and keywords,we searched databases including PubMed,The Cochrane Library, EMbase,Web of Science, CBM , CNKI and Wanfang Data for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on the comparison between MIS-THA and THA for hip disease from inception to June, 2014. Two reviewers independently screened literatures according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, extracted data and assessed the quality of the included studies according to the "bias risk assessment" tool recommended by Cochrane Handbook 5.0 for Systematic Reviews. Then, meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.3 software.

RESULTSThirteen RCTs involving 1 213 cases of surgeries and total 1 284 hips (MIS-THA: n = 631; THA: n = 653) were identified. The results of meta-analysis showed that statistically significant differences were found in Harris hip score on the 3rd month after operation [MD = 8.37, 95% CI (6.02,10.72)], Hematocrit [MD = 0.02, 95% CI (0.01, 0.03)] and Hemoglobin [MD = 0.50, 95% CI (0.16, 0.85)] at the 48th hour after operation, changed value of femoral offset [MD = 0.30, 95% CI (0.04, 0.56)] between two groups. In the change value of femoral offset, THA was better than MIS-THA; There were no statistically significant differences between two groups in Harris hip score at 1st year after operation [MD = 3.26, 95% CI (-3.25, 9.76)], WOMAC score [MD = -0.53, 95% CI (-3.67, 2.60)] and Oxford score [MD = 1.34, 95% CI (-3.46, 6.13)] at the 6th week after operation, Hematocrit at the 8th hour after operation [MD = -0.01, 95% CI (-0.02, 0.00)], the incidence of hip varus [RR = 0.82, 95% CI (0.45,1.52)] and dislocation [RR = 1.40, 95% CI (0.48, 4.12)].

CONCLUSIONTHA brings less trauma, less hemorrhage and better early clinical outcome compared with MIS-THA, but the difference of the complication rates between the two groups is similar.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate improvement effect of Duzhong zhuanggu(DZ)pills on retinoic acid-induced osteopo-rosis in mice. METHODS:72 KM mice were randomized into blank control group(normal saline),model group(normal saline), positive control group (Xianling gubao capsule,0.50 g/kg),DZ pills high-dose,medium-dose and low-dose groups (1.90,0.95,0.48 g/kg,DZ-H,DZ-M,DZ-L groups),with 12 mice in each group. Except for blank control group,other groups were given ret-inoic acid intragastrically to induce osteoporosis model,and given relevant medicine intragastrically once a day,for 14 days. After last administration,body weight of mice was determined;the blood sample was collected from eyeball to determine the contents of serum calcium and phosphor;liver,spleen and thymus gland were collected to determine organ index;left femur was collected to determine bone wet weight,bone dry weight,length and diameter;right femur was collected to determine the area percentage, width and number of bone trabecula. RESULTS:Compared with blank control group,the body weight of mice in model group were decreased;the contents of serum calcium and phosphorus were increased;liver indexes and spleen indexes were increased, while thymus indexes were decreased;bone wet weight,bone dry weight,length and diameter were decreased;area percentage, width and number of trabecular were decreased,with statistical significance (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with model group, the contents of serum calcium were decreased in treatment groups,and the contents of serum phosphorus were decreased in positive control group,DZ-M and DZ-L groups. Thymus indexes were increased in positive control group,DZ-M and DZ-L groups,while liver indexes were decreased in positive control group;femur wet weight of positive control group as well as femur dry and wet weight,diameters of DZ-M were all increased. The percentage,width and number of bone trabecula were increased in positive con-trol group,DZ-H and DZ-M group,and the number of bone trabecula was increased in DZ-L group,with statistical significance (P<0.05 or P<0.01). CONCLUSIONS:DZ pills have improvement effect on osteoporosis induced by retinoic acid in mice.

AIM:To observe the inhibition effect of endostatin ( endostar ) on mice choroidal neovascularization model ( CNV) and compare with the Avastin.
METHODS: Using 532nm laser photocoagulation to establish a mouse model of CNV. We observed the formation of CNV by histopathological examination after 2wk later. Forty successful models of mice were randomly divided into control group (group 1, 10 rats), normal saline group ( group 2, 10 rats ), endostatin group (group 3, 10 rats) and avastin group (group 4, 10 rats) . The drugs were injected into the mice' vitreous after photocoagulation 2wk later. Then 1wk later, we took the mice eyeballs to perform the HE and immunohistochemical staining to observe. The statistical analysis of ANOVA was done by SPSS 16. 0 and the LSD-t test was used for multiple samples, taking P<0. 05 as the test standards.
RESULTS: Two weeks later, HE histopathological examination was done , light microscope showed large amount of new vessels' formation, the positive rate for CNV was 72. 8%. The blank control group compared with the normal saline group P>0. 05, had no inhibitory effect on CNV;endostatin treated group compared with control group, P<0. 05, had a certain inhibitory effect; avastin group compared with the control group, P<0. 05, had an inhibitory effect on CNV; the LSD-t was performed on Avastin group and endostatin group, P<0. 05, which were statistically significant. We thought that the two drugs have different inhibitory effect on mice' CNV, because xAvastin=26. 90 ,xendostatin=29. 13,xAvastin CONCLUSION: Laser-induced CNV animal models of colored mice C57BL/6J is of short time and high rate establishment and it is an ideal model for CNV study. Endostar has certain inhibitory effect on CNV, and it is likely to become one of the important drugs for CNV-related diseases in the future.
