1.Effects of treating chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with heart failure in plateau area with Shenfu injection
Clinical Medicine of China 2010;26(5):494-496
Objective To assess the clinical effects of Shenfu injection which consists mainly of panaxoside and water-solubility alkaloied on chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with heart failure. Methods Ninetysix patients were randomly divided into two groups ,40 patients underwent regular treatment (control group) and 56 patients were treated with Shenfu injection additionally to regular treatment (treatment group ).There were 2 treatment durations, with 15 days in one duration. The symptoms, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and B type UNa peptide (BNP) were measured before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate in the treatment group was 91.1% (51/56) ,which was significantly higher than that in the control group (72.5% ,29/40) (P <0.05 ).After treatment, the treatment group has significantly higher LVEF than the control group(53.27% ±7.45%vs.49.12% ± 5.89% ) ( P < 0.05 ),and significantly lower BNP ( ( 209.1 ± 18.7 ) ng/L vs.( 261.2 ± 19.3 ) ng/L ( P < 0.05).Conclusions Shenfu injection could strengthen the contractility and increase LVEF,therefore improve the function of left ventricle,as well as decrease BNP and repair heart failure.
2.Consideration on Management and Use of Donated Drugs for Earthquake Resistance and Disaster Relief
China Pharmacy 2005;0(22):-
OBJECTIVE:To provide references for the management and use of the donated drugs for earthquake resistance and disaster relief.METHODS:The problems appeared in the management and use of the donated drugs after the earthquake occurred on May 12,2008 in Sichuan province of China were summarized analytically and the corresponding suggestions were put forward.RESULTS & CONCLUSION:Some problems such as the turnover of the drugs, the expiration date, drug dispensing and allocation etc appeared in the management and use of the donated drugs, which should be standardized by setting related laws and regulations to make more greater use of the limited drug resource in the disaster relieving.

Herald of Medicine 2014;(6):733-735
Objective To evaluate the optimal dosage of misoprostol administered in the rectum for dilation of the cervix. Methods Two hundred and forty women at 40-60 day gestational age without vaginal delivery history were randomly divided into three groups, with 80 cases in each group. Patients received 200,400 or 600μg of misoprostol rectally one hour before electrical vacuum abortions in group A,B and C,respectively. Cervical dilation, blood loss, and drug side effects in the three groups were compared. Venous blood samples were taken before vein anesthesia, and misoprostol acid concentration in the serum was tested by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. Results The analgesic rate was 100. 00%in all three dose groups, and cervical dilation rate was 23. 75%,46. 25%and 70. 00%in groups A,B and C,respectively. The severity of drug side effects such as vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain is dose-dependent. Blood concentration of misoprostal acid was(117±65),(206± 98),and(303±149)pg·mL-1 ,in groups A,B and C,respectively. Conclusion The recommended dose of misoprostol is 400 μg administered in rectum. Rectal administration of misoprostol is cheap, safe, and convenient, and therefore could be widely applied.

Objective To study the circadian changes of blood pressure and urinary catecholamine excretion in patients with pheochromocytoma before and after tumor removal. Methods Twenty-seven patients with pheochromocytoma were examined by 24h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring before tumor removal, and 12 of them were examined by ambulatory blood pressure monitoring both before and after operation, meanwhile, their urinary norepinephrine (NE), epinephrine (E) and dopamine (DA) excretions of 10 time-segmental portions of urine at the same day were determined by HPLC method. The circadian changes were analyzed by Cosinor method. Results The circadian changes of catecholamine excretion were observed, and the peak excretion time of E and DA were shifted to 14:00-16:00. The circadian changes of systolic and diastolic blood pressure disappeared in patients with sustained hypertension and existed in patients with paroxysmal hypertension. The circadian changes of blood pressure and urinary catecholamine excretion were returned to normal after surgery. The circadian change of heart rate was observed both before and after operation. Analysis of data from 12 cases with pheochromocytoma showed strongly positive correlationsbetween24hmeansystolicanddiastolic blood pressure and mean urinary NE excretion (r=0.83, 0.91, P

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(04):-
Objective To observe the influence of serum containing Tongmai on the anoxic myocardial cell. Methods The serum containing Tongmai effective components was extracted and used to interfere the anoxic myocardial cell, then the concentration of the LDH and troponin I in the culture medium of the cardiac myocyte was measured. Results The concentration of LDH and troponin I increased significantly in the culture mediun of the anoxic cardiac myocyte. The intervention of the serum containing Tongmai can significantly decreased the concentration of LDH and troponin I in the culture medium of the anoxic cardiac myocyte. Conclusion Tongmai can protect the cardiac myocyte from anoxic damage.
