5.Evaluation of risks perceived by people using HIV voluntary counseling and testing services
Chinese Journal of AIDS & STD 2007;0(05):-
Objective To investigate and analyze structure of risk perceived by people using HIV voluntary counseling and testing services and related factors.Method Two hundred and sixty eight VCT users were selected from 2 CDCs and 2 hospitals in Beijing and their perceived risks in the process of VCT were assessed by using self-administered question- naires.Factor analysis was performed to understand the relationship between different perceived risks, and risks perceived by different users were evaluated. Results Six factors were obtained from the factor analysis which included:fear of priva- cy disclosure, embarrassment, concern over the reliability of HIV tests, cost & time consumption, the tragic outcomes of HIV positive tests, and potential medical expenditures in the future. And the risks perceived by low and high income users were much higher than those perceived by middle income users. Conclusion There are clear structure of risks perceived by people using HIV voluntary counseling and testing, and people with different incomes have different levels of perceived risks.
6.Research of the relationship between the level of SAA and carotid atery artherosclerosis in patient with type 2 diabetes
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(14):-
Objective To study the relationship between serum amyloid A(SAA)and the common carotid intima-media thickness(IMT)in type 2 diabetic(T_2DM)patients.Methods Sixty-nine patients with type 2 diabetes, and 20 healthy subjects regarded as the normal controls(NC)were enrolled in the study from January to July of 2005.SAA levels were measured using ELISA.The carotid IMT were examined by hypersensitive color Doppler ultrasonography. Results SAA level was significantly elevated in type 2 diabetes group compared with that in the control3.08(2.1~5.06)mg/L vs 1.37(1.07~1.86)mg/L,P

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(08):-
Objective To observe the expression of bag-1 and heat shock protein (HSP) 70 in clinical malignant tumors and the correlation between them. Methods RT-PCR and Immunohistochemistry were employed to examine the expression of bag-1 and HSP70 in 69 cases with gastroenteric cancer (54 cancer tissues and 15 non-cancer tissues). Results The expression of Bag-1 was detected in 96.3% of the cases, much higher than that in the control group (P0.05), and no correlation was observed between histological grade and HSP 70 expression. Conclusion There exists definite relationship between the gastroenteric cancer and the expression of bag-1 and HSP70, and there are close correlation between the tumor progress and the expression of bag-1.
8. Chemical constituents isolation of dendrobium officinale based on supercritical fluid extraction and simulated moving bed
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2016;51(24):2155-2162
OBJECTIVE: To isolate the chemical constituents and screen out the activity index of Dendrobium officinale, and establish a reliable method for isolation and determination. METHODS: A supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) combined with simulated moving bed (SMB) chromatography method was established for the chemical composition extraction of D. officinale. RESULTS: Under the optimal SFE condition 46 g crude extract and 30 mg naringenin could be obtained from 1 kg of dried D. officinale. Naringenin and peak X could be fully extracted and isolation by the optimal supercritical fluid simulated moving bed (SF-SMB) operation. The content of naringenin increased from 1 199 mg to 2 400 mg in 1 kg of crude extract and the percentage content of peak X increased from 4.99% to 20.44%. The pure peak X was isolation by SMB and identified as 2, 6 -dimethoxy-4-(2-propen-1-yl)-phenol using GC-MS, 1H-NMR, and IR. CONCLUSION: The technology of SFE combined with SMB is stable and excellent for extraction and isolation of the active ingredients from D. officinale, and it provides a new idea for the industrial extraction.

Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2008;31(2):200-203
Objective To assess the impact of pigment epithelium-derived factor(PEDF) on the migration of the glioma cells. Methods PEDF(100 ng/ml)was added to U87 cells(U87PFDF),and VEGF of 0.25μg/ml was added to U87PEDF+VEGF while U87 cells as control(U87con).The cell migratory assav was used tbr evaluating its inhibitory migration rate of PEDF.Real time RT-PCR was used for evaluating the expression of Laminin-8 gene. Results The number of migratory cells was higher than those with added PEDF,and the inhibitory rate of migratory was 38% even in the presence of VEGF.Real time RT-PCR revealed that the mRNA expression levels of α4,β1,γl were(1.043±0.090),(0.823±0.012).(0.762±0.05) copy/μl,which were higher than those treated by PEDF(0.633±0.004),(0.442±0.005).(0.424±0.002)copy/μl,respectively (P<0.05).Conclusion PEDF could decrease the migmtory capacity of the glioma cells even in the presence of VEGF because of the regulation of Laminin-8 in part.
