Objective To determine loganin in productions of Liuweidihuang. Methods The chromatographic column was shim-packvp ODS-C18 (4.6 mm?150 mm,5 ?m),the mobile phase was THF-acetonitrile-methanol-0.05%H4PO3 (1∶8∶4∶87),the detection wavelength was 236 nm,the temperature of column was 40 ℃ and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. Results A good linearity of loganin was in the range of 4.42?10-2~22.1?10-2 ?g,r =0.999 7,and the average recovery rate was 98.96% (n =6,RSD=1.42%). Conclusion The method provided a reference for evaluating and controlling quality of series productions of Liuweidihuang.

Objective To observe the serum cardiac troponin I (cTnI) level and to analysis the relations between the serum cTnI level and prognosis in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and Cardiac Dysfunction. Methods Serum cardiac cTnI level was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay. Results The serum cTnI level in DCM patients with class IV cardiac function (0.53 ?0.31) ?g/L was significantly higher than in DCM patients with class Ⅲ cardiac function (0.45?0.27) ?g/L.There was significantly difference in serum cTnI levels between DCM patients with class Ⅲ cardiac function and DCM patients with class Ⅱ cardiac function(0.29?0.27) ?g/L.Conclusion The higher serum cTnI level is correlated with the severity of cardiac function and may be useful for evaluating prognosis in patients with DCM.

Objective To observe the effect of gastric motility and gastric electric activity on sleep deprivation and the changes of calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP) and nitro oxygen(NO). Methods The 192 SD rats were divided into three groups randomly. Gastric emptying was analyzed with radioimmunoassay, using nuclide 99m Tc and gastric emptying of liquids and EGG with the serosa method .By using the immuno-chemistry and chemistry analysis methods, we observed the changes of some connective factors, for example, CGRP and NO. Results The acute deprivation can cause the change of gastric emptying and which is decreased with the time of deprivation, in the meantime, we found the gastric electric activity would be decreased before food, otherwise, the gastric electric activity is irregulary and the gut hormone, for example, CGRP and NO have been changed in the plastic of rats after acute deprivation. In the study we found the gastric emptying have a change obviously in the short time. But with the time of deprivation the gastric empting no have change. And the gastric similar to this, the gut hormone no any change. Conclusions The acute sleep deprivation caused the change of gastric emptying and the change of gastric electric activity obviously. In plastic, the level of CGRP and NO have a change after sleep deprivation. The chronic sleep deprivation caused the change of gastric emptying and the change of gastric electric activity, and caused the function of gastric motility disturbing, and the effect is prolong after chronic sleep deprivation.

Objective To observe the influences of electroacupuncture(EA) on the morphological changes in neurons and glia cells in sacral dorsal commissural nucleus(SDCN) of rats with ulcerative colitis(UC),and study the mechanism of acupuncture in modulating central nervous system in UC.Methods Forty-eight male SD rats were randomly assigned to four groups: control group,UC model group,EA Tsusanli group(UC plus EA at Tsusanli acupoint) and EA non-acupoint group(UC plus EA non-acupoint group).According to the acupuncture duration,EA Tsusanli group was divided into three subgroups: 1-day,3-day and 5-day subgroup(8 rats for each subgroup).UC model of rats was reproduced by instillation of a solution containing ethanol and 2,4,6,-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid(TNBS) into the distal colon. When the treatment was ended, all the rats were sacrificed and SDCN slides were prepared. The expressions of Fos,glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP) and OX42 immunoreactivity in SDCN were assessed and calculated by using single or double immunohistochemical methods. Results In the three experimental groups, the Fos-positive neurons,GFAP-positive astrocytes and OX42-positive microglia were mainly expressed in SDCN.In UC model group and EA non-acupoint group, the expressions of Fos,GFAP and OX42 immunoreactivity were stronger than those in EA Tsusanli group(P

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(50):9909-9912
BACKGROUND: 6-minute walking test (6MWT) is a submaximal test, characterizing by easily processing and low cost, thus it is widely used in the clinic. However, how to change walking distance into maximal motor capacity needs to be further studied.OBJECTIVE: To study the correlation of 6-minute walking distance (D), work (W), peak oxygen uptake (VO_2 peak) and maximal oxygen uptake (VO_2 max) detected by Bruce.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: This study was performed at tshe Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Zhongda Hospital affiliated to Southeast University from March to May 2009.PARTICIPANTS: A total of 25 healthy volunteers were enrolled, including 14 males and 11 females, with a mean age of (22.0±2.3) years.METHODS: All 25 subjects were tested with cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) according to Bruce, VO_2 max and anaerobic threshold (AT) was detected respectively, then 6MWT" was adopted to detect 6-minute walking distance (D), work (W) and maximal oxygen uptake (VO_2 max) of subjects. Data of pulmonary gas exchange in breathing was detected by wireless remote sensor K4b~2 to obtain VO_2 max and VO_2 peak.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① Regularity of cardiac rate, oxygen uptake and respiratory frequency varied with time passing; ② Walking distance, work, oxygen uptake, cardiac rate and respiratory frequency were compared before and after testing; ③ Maximal oxygen uptake and anaerobic threshold with CPET were compared to peal oxygen uptake with 6MWT; ④ Correlation of distance, work between maximal oxygen uptake and peal oxygen uptake.RESULTS: There was no significant difference between AT from CPET and VO2 peak from 6MWT (P > 0.05). 6-minute walking distance was not correlated with either VO_2 peak or VO_2 max. However, 6-minute walking work was linearly correlated with both VO2 peak (r=0.779 7, P < 0.001) and VO_2 max (r=0.894 1, P < 0.001).CONCLUSION: 6-minute walking test is an exercise test at level of anaerobic threshold. 6-minute walking work can reflect both submaximal exercise capacity and maximal exercise capacity.

Chinese Journal of Neuroanatomy 2000;16(3):205-208
Whole-cell patch-clamp technique was performed on isolated rat DRG neurons to investigate the modulation of DA onGABA-activated membrane currents. It was found that majority of the examined neurons(40/47) were sensitive to GABA, 10-6~ 103mol/L GABA activated a dose-dependent inward current which had an obvious desensitization. In 26 of 40 neurons sensitiveto GABA DA induced a little outward current which had no desentization at all. Others showed no effect obviously. When theneurons were treated with DA 10-7~10-4 mol/L prior to the application of GABA for 30 s, 68% (27/40) GABA-activated mem-brane currents were inhibited, whereas DA10-5 inhibited markedly(33.3%) (x±s).
