3.Molecular Mechanism of Class II Enveloped Viruses Membrane Fusion
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(07):-
Entry of enveloped viruses into host cells requires fusion of the viral envelope with a cellular membrane. This step is mediated by viral glycoproteins that undergo a dramatic conformational change. Recent advances in structure and function of the fusion proteins of the class Ⅱ viruses, Rhabdoviruses and Herpesviruses were described. Proteomics computational analyses to locate the functional domain of fusion protein were introduced. The fusion proteins of class Ⅱ and class Ⅰ viruses differ radically in their initial structures but refold toward similar final conformation (trimer of hairpin). The Rhabdoviruses and Herpesviruses have a novel fold combining features of fusion proteins from class Ⅰ and class Ⅱ. The fusion proteins of these viruses have a different conformation change and mediate a different fusion process, therefore, the proteins belong to a novel class of fusion proteins. The potent inhibitor of virus entry should be new strategies for developing antiviral drugs.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1993;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the prevalent characteristics of children with viral pneumonia in different areas and years. Methods The viral antigen of cells of nasopharyngeal secretions was detected by the method of alkaline phosphatasea anti-alkalinephhosphatase in viral pneumonia children in different areas and years. Results Among 627cases , there were 290 positive cases and 14 cases were infected by 2 viral strains. Three hundred and four positive viral strains,71 cases (23.35%) were RS virus infection, 47 cases (15.46%) were AD virus infection, 74 cases (24.34%) were FLU-A virus infection,50 cases (16.44%) were FLU-B virus infection, 47 cases (15.46%) were PIV1,3 virus infection, and 15 cases (4.93%) were PIV2 virus infection. But in different areas, the kind of the viral strain of the highest infection rate was different. The viral detection rate in autumn and winter was the highest and in summer was the lowest. Conclusions FLU-A virus is the main etiological agent of children viral pneumonia, but the main etiological agent in different areas is different. In autumn and winter, the viral infection rate is high. The chance of viral infection of lower respiratory tract of big children is reduced.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2015;(6):470-475
Objective:To explore effects of frustration situation, resilience and positive music on attentional bias by a behavioral experiment. Methods:Totally 60 participants were chosen from 650 college students according to their scores in Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC).Then,a 2(resilience,high/low)×3(experimental treatment,no frustration/frustration with positive music /frustration without any background)×2(vocabulary,posi-tive /passive)mixed design experiment was conducted to investigate the attentional bias of participants in emotional Stroop paradigm. Results:Reaction times to passive vocabulary were different significantly in three frustration situa-tions(P <0.01).Interaction of resilience and frustration on reaction time to positive vocabulary was significant (P<0.01).Among the participants with low resilience, reaction time to positive vocabulary in the situation without frustration or the frustration situation with positive music was longer significantly than that in the frustration situa-tion without any background [(476.3 ±85.6)vs.(456.0 ±54.0)vs.(427.1 ±61.1),P <0.05].Among the par-ticipants with high resilience, reaction time to positive vocabulary in the frustration situation without any background was longer than that in the situation without frustration [(472.1 ±82.9)vs.(432.4 ±53.2),P <0.05].Conclu-sion:It suggests that individuals may have obviously attentional bias to negative stimulus in frustration situation, and effects of resilience and positive music on attentional bias in situation may be obvious.
8.Biostimulation and Bioaugmentation Repair of Oil Contaminated Soil
China Biotechnology 2006;0(08):-
With the development of industrialization, the problem of oil-contamination to the soil is getting more and more serious. How to clear up or remove the oil-contaminants from the soil becomes an important environmental problem for all countries around the world.Bioremediation,as the methods with fast and safe in processing, low cost and non-secondary contamination,is becoming the main solution to soil environment by oil contamination.Biostimulation and bioaugmentation are most commonly used techniques in bioremediation. The theory of bioremediation, including the concept and method of biostimulation and bioaugmentation were introduced, and advance study and progress in this field from the world in recently years were demenstrated. Both of the two methods can lead a significant decrease in soli TPH content, but the efficiency relates to many factors.Accordingly, the bioremediation technique should be tailored specifically to each polluted site.

International Eye Science 2008;8(1):16-19
Diabetic retinopathy is one of the most common and serious microvascular complications of diabetes, and it is a very complex pathological process, displaying multi-factor, multi-stage characteristic in the outcome. Recent studies have shown that the pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy is closely related to oxidative stress, and antioxidant therapy can effectively improve the condition. Heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)is a widely existing antioxidant defense enzyme, which can reduce the injury caused by oxidative stress and plays an important physiological role. Studies have indicated that in retina HO-1 can be highly induced by hyperglycemia. Moreover, the expression level of HO-1 by man-made changes can accelerate or postpone the diseases progression. That means HO-1 for the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy has satisfactory applied foreground. In this article we would like to review the role of HO-1 in diabetic retinopathy.
