Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of total thyroidectomy combined with 131Ⅰradioiodine therapy for patients with hurthle cell thyroid cancer(HCT). Methods From January 2001 to January 2013,20 HCT patients in our hospital,who under-went total thyroidectomy combined with 131Ⅰradioiodine therapy. The complications, the thyroid dysfunction and tumor recurrence were ob-served. Results The total efficiency of patients received total thyroidectomy combined with 131Ⅰradioiodine therapy was 100%, with no hoarseness,infection and other complications. And there was no tumor recurrence or death during follow-up. Total thyroidectomy combined with central lymphadenectomy had increased the chance of injury of parathyroid. There was no significant differences of PTH levels between simple thyroidectomy and total thyroidectomy combined with central lymphadenectomy in patients with different stages of treatment in 131Ⅰtreatment (P>0. 05). Conclusion Simple thyroidectomy combined with 131Ⅰradioiodine therapy causes less chance of injury of parathy-roid that restored within a month, which is high safety.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of losartan combined with metoprolol tartrate in treat -ment of elderly patients with coronary heart failure and its effect on heart function ,plasma brain natriuretic peptide and hemorheology.Methods 88 elderly patients with coronary heart failure were randomly divided into two groups ,and 44 cases were in each group .All of the patients were given conventional treatment , and the control group was given losartan while the observation group was received metoprolol tartrate on the basis of the control group ,the clinical effi-cacy and effect on cardiac function ,plasma brain natriuretic peptide ,hemorheology indexes were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.45% significantly higher than 77.27%of the control group (χ2 =7.728,P<0.05);cardiac function and plasma BNP were significant improvement compared with the control group(t=6.55,6.02,7.41 and 13.24,all P<0.05);after the treatment,except the plate-let adhesion rate ,the hemorheology of the observation group were significant improvement compared with the control group(t=7.84,7.32,6.55,7.02,5.89 and 5.70,all P<0.05).Conclusion Losartan combined with metoprolol tartrate in treatment of coronary heart failure is significant effect ,and it can effectively improve the patient′s cardiac function,plasma brain natriuretic peptide levels and blood rheology ,and it is worth to be applied in clinical .

Objective To observe the relationship between dynamic expressions of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) and MMP-9 protein and water contents in perihematoma, and the effect of sodium aescine in rats with intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH). Reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography with diode array detector was employed for simultaneous determination of six components and specific chromatograms analysis in Liuwei Wuling tablets with gradient elution of acetonitrile and water containing 0.1% phosphoric acid as mobile phase. The results showed that six components containing specnuezhenide, phillyrin, schisandrin, schisantherin A, schizandrin A and schizandrin B were separated well under the analytical condition. The average recoveries ranged from 98.96% to 100.5% with RSD less than 2. 0%. Twenty-five common peaks were selected as the specific chromatograms of Liuwei Wuling tablets with schisantherin A as the reference peak. Similarities calculated by cosine of angle, correlation coefficient and peak area ratio similarity (PAR) were all above 0. 95, indicating a good similarity between the reference and twenty batches of samples. Grubbs test and cluster analysis indicated that the established HPLC fingerprints and HPLC quantitative analysis can be used efficiently in the quality control of Liuwei Wuling tablets.

Background The retina microglia play a eliminating effect on apoptotie cells in the neural retinal layer of normal rats during postnatal development.Milk fat globule epidermal growth factor 8(MFG.E8)can combine specifically with phosphatidylinositol serine of the surface of apoptotie cells and enhance macrophage phagoeytosis of apoptotic cells.Objective Present study was to evaluate the localization and expression of MFG-E8 and its relevant cytokines in the neural retinal layer of normal rats during postnatal development Methods Normal royal college of surgeon(RCS)rats were divided into P0,P3,P7,Pi4,P30,P45 groups according to their postnatal days,and the 30-day-old RCS rats(2 rats)served as controls.Double stain of M FG.E8 and microglial cells marker(CD11b)was performed by immunofluorescence.Expressions of MFG-E8,integrin β5,CD11b and interleukin-6(IL-6)mRNA in the neural retina were analyzed by real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).The utilization of animals complied with the Regulation for the Administration of Affair Concerning Experimental Animals by State and Science and Technology Commission.Results MFG-E8 and CD11b were positively co-expressed in retinal ganglion cell layer and external plexiform layer with the green fluorescence for FITC-labeled IgG and red fluorescence for cy3-labeled lgG respectively in normal adult rats.RT-PCR showed that the mRNA of MFG-E8,integrin 85,CD11b and IL-6 was detectable at P0 rats.The expression level of these eytokines began to rise fterward and reached peak value at P14 rats and then declined gradually,showing significant differences among different ages groups in various cytokines mRNA expression(all P<0.05).Conclusion MFG-E8 can be specifically expressed in the neural layer of retina microglia in RCS rat.
